This hand soap does not dry the hands. For someone who washes hands more than 20 times daily, this is best. Hands are thoroughly cleaned after wash. I don't have to re-apply lotion after every single hand wash. The fragrance also very pleasant. Wish the liquid comes in different color. Now the only color is light yellow. Bottle very very small. Don't be fooled by the photo. So it's relatively expensive comparing the size and money. But will buy again and will recommend.

My go-to

Don’t tell my husband, but I’m having a love affair with Mrs Meyer (insert “mail order” bride joke here). Her basily scent makes me feel alive, and her easy-pour/no-mess spout makes me blush. She’s powerful and packs a punch, so a little bit goes a long way. I have used Mrs. Meyers Basil for years. It’s a light fresh scent that doesn’t smell like a synthetic fragrance. The refill size is much more economical than buying each bottle individually— we have a few glass pump jars that we use for hand soap (they paid for themselves after a couple months). I wash my hands often (because this world is filthy and maybe I’m bordering on OCD) and the soap doesn’t dry your skin.

Great soap for him and her

This is my first time trying this brand and so far I'm a fan. This scent is really fresh and clean smelling and perfect for hand soap because the smell isn't too feminine or flowery so my husband likes it also. The consistency is a little thinner than dial soap I usually use but it does lather nicely. I included some pictures to see the size. I filled two dial bottles with and believe I can still fill two to three more. Also the top is convenient for refilling with a small hole and flip top.

Love It

I use this in my foaming hand soap pumps. It works really well and the lather and smell are really nice. Just add about 2 tablespoons of the soap in the foam pump container, fill the rest of the way with water, shake, and soap! If you want to make it a little softer on your hands, add a teaspoon or two of almond oil.

basil liquid hand soap

Mostly only bought this because they marked the price down. Don't regret it at all - the scent was actually quite nice and I've never had any problems with the quality of any of the soaps sold by Mrs Meyer's. Even got some compliments from house guests when they used the soap. A nice surprise.

This rinses easily, so easily that sometimes I use a lot of it or use it twice in a washing. I just love the scent, and I am really picky about scents. This smells good without being too strong and doesn't linger overpoweringly. However, I beg to differ about the claim that it smells like basil! Not in the least. It has undertones of melon and sweetness, but nothing about it reminds me of basil. I am allergic to basil and can't stand the way the plant smells, so I know what basil smells like. This smells much better than basil!

Update*** Purchased for the 2nd time, and Amazon shipped it out in a box by itself with zero protective packaging material. Received it with almost a quarter of the product leaked out into the bottom of the box and the cap completely popped off and cracked with bits of the plastic on the bottom of the box also. Leak guard over the jug opening is still attached but probably loose, haven't cleaned it off yet to be sure. I understand this is entirely Amazon's shipping dept's fault and not any fault of the seller or the packaging so 5 star rating for the product remains. But this is the 2nd time this has happened with a liquid product i purchased through Amazon and it's frustrating. Great Product

5 stars for sure. Great hand soap, I leave it by the dish detergent so the family can stop using detergent to wash their hands. Light and does not leave your hands dry that you have to immediately run to put hand lotion on. Great scent, I find myself washing my hands more just so I can smell the great scent. Very fresh smelling not artificial at all. I added this on my subscribe and save. Will not use any other hand soap from no on. Thumbs up!

You must try at least once!

I love the scent of this hand soap! It's hard to describe what it smells like but its not overbearing, and it doesn't linger much after you've washed your hands. I also really like the consistency of the solution. I put it into my simple human automatic soap dispenser and it dispenses it with no problem. The formula is not too thick and not watery and it leaves your hands feeling clean with no residue like some other hands soaps. As a side note, the container it comes in is absolutely adorable and I've already repurposed it to store some other liquid around my home!

We liked this so much that it is now on a subscribe and save plan. The smell is refreshing and clean. The soap cleans without a heavy feel. It works perfectly in our no touch dispensers. We get two every two months.
