We used this at the entrance to our camper. The one trip it rained 9 / 10 days. This mat seems to sit on top of the mud and water, staying relatively dry. It's very easy to sweep off, too. We are planning to buy a second one for the kids to play on. On another note, the blue is much darker in person than it looks online.

Must-have for tent and pop-up camping

This mat was on a "must-have" list for those who do camping, particularly pop-up camping. So we bought it. We've had it through 6 seasons with our pop up camper (we place it under the awning under the step) and it is still in like-new condition. Easy to sweep off with a broom and keep mud and dirt from the camp.

Way better than a tarp!!

Used this while tent camping instead of a tarp.. great purchase!! I hate the sound of walking on a tarp and it's impossible to go one camping trip without spilling some kind of liquid, now with the new material I don't have any puddles!! The water just soaks right in and goes through to the ground. It does take some time to get the creases out, but that's not a big deal you me! I got it late in the season so I only got your use it once, so I can't wait till next year to use it more and see how long it lasts

Very Durable, works great!!!

I love this mat! As some have noted, it is a woven mat and it is possible to snag fibers and pull them but it's not like the entire mat unravels. It goes on the ground under your awning...perfection isn't necessary folks. I found it to be very durable. Its design is such that dirt, sand and water are supposed to pass through it and not stay on top. I found that it does this very well. Water does not stand on it and the dirt and beach sand the kid tracked in mostly passed through it. Cleaning it was very easy... sweep it off as you fold it, shake it out when you get home. It's also very comfortable to walk on barefoot.

Works Great, really does cover the dirt

Got this for my unfinished basement with a dirt floor, 1st I sprinkled cedar chips to repel bugs before I laid the Awning mat. Its thick and durable and lays flat.

Exactly as advertised.

This Matt is exactly as it's advertised. There was a small space between where I park my car and the pad where the camper sits. This Was An Inconvenient location as it was dirt and grass wasn't growing there. I placed this mat in that space so that it was easy to get in and out of the car loading and unloading items and groceries without having to get dirt all over your shoes and tracking it into the camper. Highly recommended, and I was happy to see that it came with the tent spikes. I would buy this item again.

Works very well for us

This will be the second camping season for us with this product and we have zero complaints so far. It is light, easy to put out and pack up, easy to clean, and won't kill the grass unless left in place for a very long time. We have used this on grass, dirt, and gravel in various parks and found that it keeps everyone's feet clean (not to mention the chair legs!), holds up well to use, and still looks like new. Ours has been rained on and gotten muddy repeatedly, and in both conditions it was a snap to clean it up. Water may not pour though it like a sieve, but it does pass through without a lot of pooling in short order. Like most all Camco products, this is a good, serviceable item - it's not luxury, but it's not ultra cheap either. For the money you would be hard pressed to do better (look at the cost of the fancier outdoor patio mats as a comparison.) We are very pleased with this and would replace with the same item it if something happened to this one.

Very happy with our purchase!

We just got back from using this on our camping voyage with the tent trailer. It rained cats and dogs outside but the fiber build of the mat allowed all the water to pass right through. We bagged it up and brought it home to clean up and a quick hose off made it clean and new looking. Really happy with this purchase!

Does what it says.

If you camp, you NEED one or more of these! We put 2 of them together outside our tent camper. We take 3 dogs with us and it's keeps them from getting muddy and dirty. Rain goes right through, most dirt just works through and anything else just sweeps off.

Great quality

This has been very useful we will get another one for sure once this one is worn out but it is great for camping so we can leave the dirt and mud outside of the camper :). It feels great on bare feet no matter the surface it covers We highly recommend this Mat.
