Love this larger size

I love to make quick chili stew that I call cheater chili. I add a can of tomatoes, can of pintos, can of chicken broth, microwaved onions that I pre cook in oil for 3 minutes. I can add some bacon grease or Crystal hot sauce and then plop in a can of this chili and you can have it ready to eat in very short order. It is fast food that tastes as if you spent much longer in the kitchen. (I like to keep frozen vidalias chopped that I can sautee in the microwave, covered tightly ad cooked for three minutes; it speeds the process of having a pot of chili or stew ready in short order). It is almost impossible to find this larger size anymore.

A throwback

This is a guilty pleasure. No, it's not for health nuts, but it sure is good! If you like the sort of chili they serve at old fashioned diners, and you don't have a delicate constitution, this is for you. Better than a gallon of ice cream for comfort food! For something really indulgent, dump the heated chili over a bowl of Fritos, then top with grated cheese and sour cream. (Not every day, you understand). Really, you'll love this stuff.

Not spicy!

A little pricey per can but it arrived quickly and is the best chili as far as I'm concerned. I've had my friends' homemade chili and while good, I still prefer this over any chili I've ever had. The taste is good and it's not spicy. It's great for chili dogs or just by itself.

After ordering Campbell's Chunky Chili and getting Campbell's chili-flavored broth, an absolute worst excuse for chili, I came across a mention of Armour Chili in a review. Man, am I glad I did! This chili is AWESOME!! It's THICK(take a note, Campbell's), meaty and absolutely delicious! And don't be put off by the price. Currently on amazon, it's more than 7 cents/ounce cheaper than Campbell's Roadhouse Chunky Chili, plus each can is 24 oz. and, for me anyway, is good for two servings! In my opinion, it's great chili at a great price, and I'm ordering more as soon as I submit this review. Highly recommended!!!

great flavor for hot dogs and NO beans

Our local stores were carrying this on and off. Then all of a sudden I can't find it anywhere so had to go online. The flavor is so good on hot dogs that I found space for a whole case so I don't run out.

Best chili ever.

Have been buying for years. Then couldn't find for two years. Thrilled when found here, although price is about 30% more than use to paying. Either way, Excited to have it once again.

This Is the Best

In my opinion, Armour makes the absolute best canned chili -- at least, it's the best I've tried, and I've sampled LOTS of them.

I hope Amazon will keep selling these at a good price and I hope Armour will keep making quality chili. Absolutely a staple if you live in college dorms or a busy working professional because these chili taste great and can be used in so many quick recipes. Add it to pasta, to baking dishes, to make chili dips for chips, to eat with rice...quick to make and not to mention No msg and No preservatives!

Taste good and and good to fill you up.Homemade is still better than this but overall good product!
