Perfect for projects
We ordered this set for a school science project, and it turned out great. The problem we were having with buying the foam balls separately is that we were going to have to buy individual packs. It would have cost ove $40. This set worked out great. The colors were somewhat off, but some repainting is all it took and everything looked great.

Pre-painted planets make for great projects!
These planets were great and were perfect for what I needed them for. I did, however, paint them up a little more since these are pre-painted one solid color. For example, I added designs to Jupiter and Saturn. Great for projects!

School Project Sanity-Saver
This worked out great for my son’s solar system project. It was impossible to find even remotely correct styrofoam ball sizes without spending a ton on multiple packs. Just in case any other parents are pulling their hair out over these endless school projects, this is how we did it...... As others pointed out, the colors aren’t perfect so we too repainted a few with acrylics. We dangled the planets inside a cardboard (Amazon) shipping box we spray painted black inside and stuck stars all over. Poked small hole in planets and stuffed the knotted end of fishing line in each before plugging with silicone sealant. Let dry overnight. Worked perfectly!

Easy
This was for a solar system project for my 5th grader. The planet comes colored but we also painted them to be a bit more life like. This is definitely worth the money and easy to put together and can be customized. It was good enough to get my daughter 2 nd place in her class project

Fantastic for Solar System science projects
Got these for my 6th grader for his science project on the solar system. They are already colored, and the correct size. There is some assembly required, such as cutting the sticks the correct length away from "the sun". He was able to do this completely by himself. After the sticks are the correct length you simply jam one end into the sun, and the other into the planet. Tip: use white liquid school glue (such as Elmer's) on both ends of the stick. That will hold the planets in place if you have to transport this to or from school.

Good product
Arrived on time. We had to paint some of the planets 🪐 but another kid in her class had the same thing and did not paint them.

School Project
Purchased this set for a school project. Easy to assemble. Needs multiple applications on paint to get the desired color and contrast. Would buy again.

Great Science/Learning Fair Model
Easy to assemble & perfect model. I suggest reading directions completely before assembly. Each dowel rod needs to be cut & if not cut correctly the model cannot be assembled properly.
