I ran this thing through its paces to see if it would hold zero between multiple uses and it did it with no problems. Even between tools without resetting (I previously verified those tools were flat. If you are doing precision work, you need this.
I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this gauge. Typically you get what you pay for when it comes to digital gauges but this one is basically the other way around. Great quality for how much it cost. I use it to zero in my shaper and table saw for fine woodworking and it is very fast and accurate. If you're not an engineer working on 0.00001 tolerances, this is the one for you!
