Dino-spectacular FUN!

We picked this up as a Birthday gift to go along with a Origami set we purchased for our son. He really enjoyed the set, and we found the ink to be mostly washable. We have had the set for over a year and the ink is still going strong, and it does not fade on the paper. When Stamping, no outlines are left, and the wooden stamp fits well in the hands of kids of all ages. The Coloring pencil's felt like they were a bit of a low quality, they just were not as smooth as we are used too. Over all I would say this is a good buy and worth the Price! If buying as a gift, buy a Roll of Art paper to go with it, The Childs mom can roll it out to protect the table and the child can decorate it!

I bought 3 of these, all different patterns. Covered the table with paper and let 4 little ones ages 5, 4, 3 & 2 go add it. The 2 year old did not have to be left out. I ordered extra pads so sharing was not needed. Since the ink is easily washed off hands and arms, they had a great time! I always trust this brand if ever in doubt!

Perfect purchase for my dino loving, crafting three year old

My three year old son loves crafts, and I'm always looking for new stuff for him to do. I bought him these M&D dino stamps as a Christmas gift and they have been a HUGE hit. He will sit at the table for a long time and stamp these (as well as the vehicle stamp set) and be happy as a lark. I like that it comes with a few colored pencils to color in the dinos, and the ink pad so far is holding up well to a three year old's abuse. He has already stamped blue on top of red on the ink pad, but it hasn't seemed to really mess with the actual stamping, just stained the ink pad. I would have loved a larger ink pad, especially because for small hands, and a stamp that just fits on the one side. He usually ends up with quite a bit of ink on his hands, but it washes off very easily. These stamps have helped to foster his imagination as we create little scenes, or he stamps dinos one on top another as they "fight." I feel it is great for his motor skills as well as his creative skills. And I'm a fan of M&D products as a whole.

Good play value, good price value!

This is one of those toys that works best with no directions. I gave this set to my four year old grandson, along with a binder full of prepunched paper of different colors, and let him go. He stamped the paper. He stamped his hands. He stamped his hands and then used his hands to stamp the paper. He made "cards" to give his mother. He made stories with the stamps. He used the colored pencils with OTHER pieces of paper (he had no idea he should be coloring the dinos - no interest there). I picked up a few more stamp pads at JoAnns (I think), but had no trouble getting ink out of anything. I think without supervision he would have stamped the walls and table and everything else - he does love TRex - but we had a talk beforehand about stamping rules. We have an easel and he uses the stamps with that as well. We put them away, and next time he came over, they were in use again. I think the novelty will not wear off for a long time, because he can use his imagination to create new stories and games and cards with the stamps. Well worth the purchase price, and the little box they come in is very handy for keeping the bottom of those stamps where you want them!

Always quality from Melissa and Doug!

Another quality wooden item from Melissa and Doug! I love that I can always count on consistently well crafted and educational crafts and toys from this company. The wooden stamps are large and the ink pad has enough ink in it to last for months and months of stamping fun. The colored pencils add to the fun of coloring in our stamped creations of dinosaurs and the volcano land they live in! The wooden crate that holds it all is well constructed, as are the stamps and stamp pad. I adore this company and am grateful that in a world of plastic cheap toys we can still count on the old school wooden treasures this company offers.

Great quality and a great additon to your arts & crafts!

I LOVE Melissa and Doug products! These stamp sets are so cute & they keep the kids entertained! They come with a few different style stamps which are great quality. Each is made of a wooden block with a rubber stamper on the bottom. Also included is a duo colored stamp pad & a variety of colored pencils. All items come in a high quality wooden box to keep them all safe and can be used to store them in when not in use. There are multiple sets with different themes available and I feel, with adult supervision, these would be prefect for almost any age. I would totally buy these again & share with friends and family!

bought this as gift

Bought for my nephew who went thru his Dinosaurs phase. Asked for anything Dinosaur for Christmas years ago... His Dino phase lasted 3 months. Now my own son Dino phase still in effect so after running out of Dino gifts I bought for my 3 year old as well. He loves it. He's not a good drawer, but he can keep busy stamping away on a huge sheet of paper I lay out for him. He loves each Dinosaur. Stamps them in each color. It gets messy, but glad all the ink washes away easily. The wooden case helps him put everything back. The pencils are good because he breaks his crayons all the time and after 2 weeks pencils still in one piece.

Cute dino stamp set from Melissa & Doug

My son love dinos, so I surprised him with this stamp set. Nice quality, as expected from any Melissa & Doug product. My son loves stamping them, stacking them, carrying them around the house, you name it (he is 2 1/2). The ink can be tricky to get off of skin and I would assume off of fabric as well. My son stamped himself with the red ink and it took probably 12 showers/baths to get it off of his skin. Love the images and the size of the stamps.

Melissa and Doug never dissapoint

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 4 year old who loves anything with dinosaurs. Of course, he loves this. It is very easy for him to use with me or buy himself. I just watch to make sure ink does not go anywhere it shouldn't. It does wash off your hands quite easily if it get on them and says it is washable on other surfaces as well. The blue and red colors are very nice and brilliant and do not bleed through the paper. The colored pencils included are nice as well. I am very happy with this purchase.
