The mints are small, but incredibly powerful. The sweetness is light, but just right. My mints arrived fresh and potent and the sweetener they use doesn't impact my blood sugar at all--essentially, they're carb-free. Given that I can buy them by the case, I go through a tin every 5 to 7 days--and don't feel guilty because I have a drawer full of 'em. Highly, highly recommended--especially at this price.

These sugar free cinnamon mints work well at freshening breath. Even though these are made from sorbitol and sucralose the packaging says they are have only 35% less calories than the original mints (from 0.8 calories to 0.5 calories). Because they are less than half the size of the original Altoids, and because they're sugar free, I'd think they'd be even less. They aren't like the original Altoids and won't burn your mouth, although they are are stronger than other mints, like lifesavers. I like sugar free mints best because they don't leave that aftertaste/feeling on your tongue like mints with sugar.

Never had these before a friend told me to try them. Love the fact that they're sugar free. They're good for mouth sores (braces), sore throats, or when your stomach is upset and a peppermint will help. Had pneumonia for a few months and these were almost a lifesaver since the medicine made me nauseated. Now I just enjoy them.Leave a really fresh minty flavor in my mouth when I use them.

Altoid mints you say. Sugar free you say. Yummm. What's not to like, and my dentist doesn't give me any grief because there is no sugar. These mints are also smaller than the regular (non-sugar-free) mints, which I like. The other mints are a bit too much (for my taste). Great flavor, but not too overpowering. No artificial ingredients. Great product. Good price point. (Don't spend $2 per package on these at the grocery store.)

or at least for 9 of them! I really like the small tins for carrying my daily pills in them. I looked on eBay and people want crazy money. for empty tins I am talking more than what I paid for these! And the bonus? I get Altoids for days!

I've been using ALTOIDS to freshen my breath for years. I keep a tin in our hospital lab for workers that feel the need to rid themselves of "bad breath" just prior to tending a patient. In the past I supplied the larger sized ALTOIDS (personally preferring wintergreen over peppermint), however, these potent little ALTOID SMALLS are not to be confused with the regular size ALTOIDS; they are nothing alike. These ALTOID SMALLS are about 1/4" square, but don't let their size fool you - they can pack quite a "peppermint punch", and I've seen these new SMALLS offered in wintergreen flavor as well in recent months. The texture of these SMALLS are noticeably smoother and harder than it's counterpart; not melting quite as quickly as it's larger, more porous sibling. I personally place two SMALLS in my mouth at one time which amounts to only 1 total calorie because it is made with the artificial sweetener, sorbitol, Since sorbitol is slowly metabolized by the body, it does not cause insulin levels to increase much - and unlike the larger ALTOID, it does not promote tooth decay. Basically, if you like larger and sweeter, go with the LARGER (regular) ALTOIDS. If you don't mind powerful peppermint and a strong artificial sweetener taste, then try the ALTOID SMALLS. If you prefer a non-sweet but milder flavor, consider ALTOID SMALLS WINTERGREEN. I appreciate the noticeably smaller tins afforded by the ALTOID SMALLS; fits well in purse or pocket (but rattles a bits when you walk). At 50 mints per tin, there always seems to be enough to share.

I only use Altoid Smalls for mints, and am so glad I found this multi pack. Not to mention it’s so inexpensive! I’ve never had an issue with these cases popping open in my purse, and they’re small enough that they don’t weigh a ton like a tin of full sized mints does. Just note that because they are smaller than the traditional mint, you may want to take two at a time. But there are so many in this package, you don’t have to worry about running out anytime soon.

These Peppermint Altoids Smalls are much stronger and less sweet than the Wintergreen Altoids Smalls, but quite effective at freshening my mouth with just one mint. I rarely stop at one mint, with 50 mints per tin I can indulge, especially since these are sugar-free. These are so portable and easy to toss into a little purse (or pocket) and go. I don't usually want more than 3 at a time because these are really strong. I also love the little tins these come in, they are not only useful but fun when the mints are gone. Between our daughters and I, we have a nice collection of these which are wonderful for upcycling into little teeny tiny altered art shadowboxes, using as travel containers for extra vitamins, making a quick mend sewing kit, storing seed beads, safety pins, tiny distressed steampunk gift/money holders-(origami for bill inside), and so on. I was buying these at a local warehouse club, but after doing the math, I found Amazon's price in average per tin to be a better deal as of this writing. By the way, if you find you don't want to use the tins after you have finished the mints, it may interest you to know that people buy these empty tins on bidding sites, artsy sites, etc. for various projects. Please see my photos for comparison of an Altoids Smalls tin with an Altoids regular-sized tin.

I've used the regular (sugar) Altoids for years and years. Four months ago I got on Chantix to quit using chewing tobacco after 40 years. The doctors said I'd need something in my mouth to help. Right away I discovered these by good luck and they REALLY do help and without ingesting sugar, fat, or salt. The doctors are pleased that I found these as my "crutch". Their strong and when I need something to bite on their softer than other non sugar breath mints. I also found out that although the tins seem very small that their perfect for holding 3 or 4 fishing spinners when fishing streams, and are so small they fit in any pocket. I'm very surprised! I make a sized 2 spinner that seems quite large but they fit perfectly. Used for fishing you could carry all sorts of things in these like, split shot, hooks, fly's, or use them in your tackle box to sort stuff out neatly. I have it set up with Amazon so my order will repeat every month without having to re-order them. I don't know yet how well that will work out. Their price is only slightly higher than where I have been buying them but then again I'm not burning any fuel to get them so it all works out to be a fine deal!

I like these so much better than the original large Altoids. They're sugar free, have great flavor, and are perfect for keeping my breath fresh while I'm out. I love the small size, they aren't as mouth burning strong as the original large Altoids, but for me they are better! These mints get the job done without burning my mouth, and the cute little tin is perfect for tucking into pocket or purse.
