Great buy and I love the fact that these food saver bags can be sealed to the size I need. I've had my food saver for several years now. I'm still amazed at how well food keeps in this system vs regular wraps. MUCH longer and much fresher taste without forming ice crystals. Easy to use and these rolls are perfect to be able to store the sizes you need.

High quality bags. Let's face it, all bags of this type are overpriced, BUT... there is a definite difference in quality between these and the cheaper knockoff brands. If you're going to pay for it either way, you might as well get the best quality for your money.

Trust me, save yourself a lot of time and money, and buy the brand name over the generic. I have tried two generic alternatives, and they leak and just don’t work as well. It’s not worth the hassle!

I had a Seal-A-Meal years ago but seldom used it because it was hard to get the bags to seal properly and I struggled with each bag several minutes. With the Foid Savor i don’t have that problem. Only once did it falter and that was after i’d been dealing many bags of fresh veggies i’d purchased at the local Farmer’s market. I cleaned the crumbs tray and used a new bag and it’s worked like a charm. It uses several size bags and even a make your own size (within limits). The food tastes as good after sealed as it did when I put it in the bag.

These are the GOOD bags. I've tried the knockoff bags before and they worked ok, but didn't always vacuum down all the way. Figured out that the little dots were not big enough to let the air flow through as well as the OEM bags. The FoodSaver bags have never disappointed. I especially like that I can take frozen leftovers out and just toss the bag in the microwave or -my favorite- toss it in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes. Try that with a regular zipper bag and it's likely to melt (don't ask me how I know this - and no it was not intentional!)

My parents bought the foodsaver for my husband and I. We could get the refill box at Costco, but I did not want all the packages in it. I just needed the two individual sized rolls in this box and I can easily seal & cut them to my food portion needs. The product came quickly and the price was the best!!!

I have had my Food Saver almost 10 years. Can't get parts for it any longer but it is still working. These bags probably are more expensive but the food has NO FROST and tastes great 2 years later!! I reuse the bags if they aren't greasy for paper/documents I want to hold on to - i.e. for my Disaster Kit in case of storm, flood, etc.

I used up all of the sampler bags that came with my vacuum sealer, so I bought these rolls of you-size bags. These things work great. I smoked four chickens yesterday, parted them up into boneless breasts and leg/wing combos. Each bird made four of these portions. I bagged them and froze them so I can take the legs to work for lunches and reheat the breasts for dinners. These rolls of bags were just what I needed. You just seal one end, pack up your food portions, and then vacuum seal the other end. After I made the first portion I knew the size that I needed, so I cut the rest to size and then got down to work. Those sixteen packets only used a portion of one of the smaller rolls and I still have plenty left. I loved the quality of these refill bags and I really appreciate the fact that there's a band to write the date on these.

I was looking at the cheaper generic brand and read that there were sporadic holes in the sheets. I spent a little more money and got this brand and am very happy! We use them all the time (especially when chicken is on sale), and haven't even made a dent in the carton! Nice and thick, and we're still on our first role. I LOVE these sealer bags!

We have been using a FoodSaver vacuum sealing system for many years to preserve the vegetables from my gardens by freezing. Also, we purchase meat in large quanities, then separate into smaller portions, then vacuum seal those, and freeze. We have tried other brands of plastic, such as Black & Decker, but found they did not preserve the food as well. With the FoodSaver brand of plastic, we have, by mistake, kept ear corn as long as three years, and it still tasted like it was picked fresh from the garden. FoodSaver's plastic rolls are high priced, but if you buy from Amazon, the boxes of three 11 in. and two 8 in. rolls, they cost about the same as the cheaper brands at a store. We use about 20 to 30 rolls each year, and find it to be well worth the price to have fresh veggies and meat all year.
