These are great for big dogs, and I mean BIG dogs! They're huge! Okay, so they're exactly like the dimensions, but I expected smaller because of the great price. They might still be a little short for a big Great Dane, but probably perfect for the average to smaller Great Danes.

Just got this 12" feeder today. It's the perfect height for my Senior Boxer Mix. I had a different one that was lower & needed a higher one due to his arthritis. The bowls that I had fit it perfectly, so I was able to put away the bowls that came with it. I keep a couple of folded up paper towels under the water bowl. When I clean the feeder & change his water during the day, I change the paper towels. A quick 5 minutes and it's done. Very pleased with the product at a great price. Would highly suggest this for anyone with older pets, makes a world of difference for them with eating & drinking.

I bought it because my Labrador Retriever drinks like a horse and I can add the bottle so it will refill some, I haven't used the bottle on it yet but will, It took a little time to get the dogs to use it instead of their old bowls, I could have just taken the old bowls away and let them get hungry or thirsty enough until they figured it out, but it was too tall for my Rat Terrier / Chihuahua mix they aren't stupid it's just you do something for 5 years and then comes this other deal and your mind is conditioned to use what you are used to ( This is my take on it, they could actually be stupid but they seem to do pretty good with most everything else.. ) Okay, One dog is big and getting older so I wanted a bow that she wouldn't have to lay on the ground to be comfortable to eat or drink, and the small dog couldn't reach the bowl well enough so I took the battery operated dremel out, got some masking tape and put the tape around the bottom layer of the stand and cut it away evenly, start to finish maybe a half of a hour, didn't rush it and it cut pretty even and you might have to lightly file way some of the edges on the bottom, I didn't have to, where the 8300 dremel got the plastic hot ( The Stand got hot not the dremel tool ) while cutting the stand on the cutting wheel some of the plastic would melt and get on the mandrel, let that cool and peel t off and finish the cutting cleaning the mandrel like 2 times, it wasn't a big deal BUT Wait until the molten plastic cools first before peeling it off ! ) - I was able to just take my hand and break off little areas where the hot plastic pooled along the bottom of the stand, put it on the carpeted floor and it's all nice and level and after about a week both dogs are now using it at the medium height and I can use the back up water supply.. I also just filled up a additional gallon of water and put it near by and instead of running to the faucet every time I turn around the dogs have water right then instead of thinking it's getting low and I will refill it soon then possibly forget ( Very Rarely Do but that's too often ) ... If it sounds like I'm lazy I might be but I'm having a hard time walking for awhile due to a injury and this is much easier and less painful.. The bowls stay nice shiny and clean and hold more than I thought that they would.... .. My next project ( Nothing to do with this item ) is to get the ten year old Ratcha to use the stairs that I bought for him so he doesn't wear himself out trying to get on the bed, it won't take much , maybe just a couple of temporary cardboard walls, he will climb on the back of the couch like a cat but give him steps and it's like this isn't the way that we've been doing this for 10 years now so I'm not ready to change my way yet.. and he has a soft landing pad so he doesn't wear out his knee joints etc.

I had one of these stands previously. When my Doberman went to rainbow bridge I kept it as I was getting another Doberman puppy. He used it with no problems, however it was getting aged and needed replacing. At the time I couldn’t find this. I opted for another that was nice two separate metal stands, they were very nice. HOWEVER, they were flimsy, moved easily and my Doberman became afraid of it and STOPPED EATING! I finally realized it was the stands when I hand fed him and he ate his food up. I found this, exactly like the previous one but it was brown. That’s really better. I took it out of the box, set it up, put his food in and he was a happy boy again ate everything. For cleaning, it’s not a big deal. I take it outside and clean it with the hose. It’s big and would be clumsy cleaning in the kitchen. After all don’t we want this big for our bigger dogs?🤔. Yes, the water collects under the water dish 🤭. Wouldn’t you rather the water collect there instead of on the floor?🤔. It’s no big deal, pick up the stand and empty it. Don’t let this point prevent you from getting this. The price is excellent. I paid more for the 2 stands that were “prettier” to end up giving them away.

I have a tall pit bull mix who lately seemed to have some troubles swallowing food and water. I thought that a higher bowl might help her. This one is perfect for her and it has helped her to keep from hacking while eating and drinking. It's a bit big but it's perfect for her and even my smaller beagle. The water doesn't seem to end up all over the floor anymore as it seeps back into the basin. It's lightweight so I can easily move it and the water is no longer getting spilled over because someone (ok me) steps into the bowl. It's easy to clean, you can actually add a bottle to the water side to have a more continuous water supply if needed. I like having options. It looks good, easier on my back to bend down and pick up the dishes (as they are higher), lightweight, durable and has made my dog happier (and me too). I need to get the smaller one for my beagle soon. I think the price is fair and this purchase has my thumbs up...

I love this dog bowl!! We have a German Shepperd Puppy and a Golden Doodle puppy that are 3 months old and we just upgraded them to this dog bowl and I love it!!! They do too!

I got the 12 inch knowing my Weimaraner will grow into it... he’s only 6 months old now and it’s a bit big but with this breed being notorious for bloat, I wanted to make sure I get anything that could possible alleviate that. And mine downs water like there’s no tomorrow. I’m really happy. Built well, removable bowls are decent and a great size. Has space to clean out the bottom part after build up. I’m pretty sure there’s a space for an upside down water bottle to fit if you didn’t want to use the bowl for the water side but I haven’t tested it.

We were looking for an elevated feeder for our 10# Siamese/Persian rescue cat. After looking at several alternatives we came across the Our Pets Healthy Pet Diner Elevated Feeder. It is perfect for our cat so that he can now stand and eat and drink water from these elevated bowls and stand. While the bowls are light weight and tend to bend, it's not been a problem. Capacity is more than adequate for Niko. We purchased the lower of the available elevated feeders. Definitely recommended. Quality is great, size is perfect.

Our German Shepherd, Magnus, injured his neck a few weeks ago. I did some searching for some ways we can help ease and illuminate his neck pain and found raised bowls are better for dogs eating and drinking posture. This is a great water and food bowl and it’s the perfect size for our dog. He is 11 years old and can sometimes be hesitant to try new things but he took to this New bowl without any issues. It seems to have helped his neck pain because he’s not straining so low to eat or drink. Our dog had also suffered from bloat a few years back, I’m not completely sure if this product is helpful for illuminating that but it appears to be a more comfortable eating position for him. Very happy with this purchase, wish we had got it earlier!

This Feeder is a great height, stainless steel bowls are sturdy and no signs of rust. Any senior large breed dog will benefit from eating and drinking from a bowl they can stand-up to. No more stooping and straining - No more putting excess weight and stress on their joints, shoulders, and back. He was not eating well - To encourage my dog to eat I was hand feeding him, and holding his bowl up for him to eat out of. This was a great bonding time for me and my dog, but, very time consuming. I questioned how much time we would have left together in life - If he persisted in this state. Who would have thought that the purchase of a new feeding bowl would so dramatically change my dog''s vigor. MY dog is happier and I believe it has improved his digestion (No more flatulence). He runs, jumps and walks on his leash now without struggle or lolly gagging. He is more alert and sleeps less all because of an appropriate sized bowl for his height. He is so eager to eat now! I cut all his meat down to small pieces - just in case he swallows in two mouthfuls and does not stop to chew! Thank-you for discounting the price - You have made this product quite affordable for all pet owners. At any price this is a great product - I highly recommend. Thank-you Dog Feeding Stations and Thank-you Amazon!!
