What I like most about these slacks is the elastic sections of the waistband. I really love that you can sit down at your desk and not get strangled by your pants. The only thing I might do differently when ordering my next pair, would be to order them an inch shorter than I did. They seem kind of long and tend to get frayed at the back of the ankles when I wear them in the car. I've taken to "pegging" the ankles if I think I'll be in the car for long time. Nice pants, though. No need to iron them, which is good because I don't own an iron or ironing board. Nice and comfy too.

We had to switch from jeans to a nicer style. These are light, cool and the toughest pants I've ever owned. They last me 3 times as long and look good the whole time. They never fade. I'm a big guy and would blow the crotch or pocket corners out of my jeans all the time. Not these. I even fell and hit my knee on a fan blade once and it cut my knee but barely put a nic in the pants. I don't know how! I've been buying these for 4-5 years. It's all I but now. I've only ever wore one pair out. I get new ones if I put a sharp tool in my pocket and tear it or something. They are tough and save me a lot of money.

I ordered the pants long, and had to shorten (I had to guess the length when ordering). I must say: I love these pants! The fabric irons and sews beautifully. The drape of the fabric is good. When I finished hemming, they looked professionally done. I like the expandable waistline. These were for my son's graduation, and he looked very nice. Thank you! I highly recommend these pants.

I love these pants so far, I just bought a whole bunch in several different colors. I am an Engineer, and I work in a plant environment. These are great b/c the look good, and they hold up well and are durable and are super comfortable. I like the non-pleated pants better myself. The only issue I have had is finding the colors I want in my size. I have purchased the Navy Blue in store at JC Penny, had to get the Khaki color from Sears and also from Amazon, and the Bark color I got on amazon. I have not been able to find the Ocean color in stock anywhere, which is something I would like to get, and is the only color I haven't found at this point. They also come in several other styles that include pleats, or the non pleated pant like this one. They also offer this in a denim style, and there is a polyester blended one called the Cool 18, and they make that in all the same configurations. I am reluctant to try the Cool 18 polyester pants since they feel somewhat flimsy in the store. I am really not sure if they are worth trying or not, if you want to find something for the hot weather. I might try a pair this summer.

I use to buy these pants at JCPenney but lately their prices have been going out-of-this-world on these pants so I started searching on-line and ended up landing at Amazon. I like the fact that they include a hidden expandable waist line under the belt area by the front pockets. If you go out for a big lunch you will love the concept. Plus the pants always feel perfect after putting them on as they will either contract a little or expand a little throughout the day as needed. Quality is good. I wear these pants every day at work. I use to wear Dockers until I found these. I prefer the appearance compared to the Dockers as well as the fact that they have a button instead of metal clip to hold them closed in addition to the expandable waist for a perfect fit and appearance every time. Comfortable material and durable. I usually but an assortment of these every fall and wear them daily at work. I hesitate to make them sound too good as I don't want the prices to go up.

This is my husband's second pair of these. He purchased a khaki pair several months ago and liked them so much that he wanted a black pair. Pros: They are a good fit and comfortable to wear. He can wear them to church, a business meeting, or out to dinner. They look nice with a sweater or with a dress shirt and sport coat. The material is thicker than most dress type of pants. They do well with not wrinkling. If I remove them straight from the dryer, they do not require any ironing. Cons: The black pants do seem to attract lint, I have to make sure to wash them, only with dark colors. This helps to cut down on the lint. I have also found that a lint brush is helpful and the lint does come off easily. I believe it's the material these are made from. As long as you are careful what you wash them with, it's not a huge issue. Conclusion: Overall, we are pleased with these and would purchase them again.

Had to have them hemmed up by a full inch +. This is in spite of having multiple pairs of the same model and style, for many years, which all fit perfectly. This leads me to believe that they changed the dimensions of the style over the years, but did not change the actual measurements. Regardless, it is only a minor complaint that I had to pay $10 per pair to have them fit as perfectly as previous pairs... but still, I had to pay $10 for the same model and style, same measurements, and same ID number, for pants that I never previously had a problem with. These pants are excellent for people don't want to dress in pedestrian and plebeian bleu jeans, but dont want to appear pompous and conceited as they would with more professional looking slacks. A perfect blend of classy, functional, sophistication, and comfortable.

Did a side-by-side comparison with 'Dockers Men's Classic Fit Flat Front Signature Khaki' and found that: 1) Iron-free claim is true--no creases out of packaging vs. Dockers which maintained creases 2) Liked Hagger's fabric better than Dockers (Dockers has changed fabrics in the past few years, new fabric doesn't look as nice). The Haggar fabric has a smoother, shinier appearance, whereas Docker's has a coarser, flat apperance 3) Like elastic in the waist--fits tight without a belt--not that I wear it without a belt 4) I wear black pants every day and have found that the Dockers seem to attract 'dust' and spot more readily during daily activities After my comparison, I bought sever more pairs for work.

This is the review I gave ALL (5+) other pants that we purchased: "WAAAY to small--maybe 2+ sizes? Get the Haggar Men's Work To Weekend Hidden Expandable Waist No Iron Plain Front Pant and save your money. This like like the 5th pair that didn't fit on my bf. " These pants are amazing. A month or two of suffering (trying 5+ slacks) and finally my boyfriend said after work, "It was GREAT working in pants that actually FIT", because as you know with a lot of guys, they are appreciative with whatever you buy them and don't "want to complain" and just "tough it out".

These pants fit well. I like it when my pants fit. Everyone around me also really likes it when my pants fit. What makes a pair of pants worth 5 stars is the hidden elastic tucked in behind a couple of the belt loops. These pants not only fit, they continue to fit if your girth has been known to vary a bit from time to time for reasons I could not possibly begin to speculate about. (So for this reason, if you're considering these and you fall between two sizes, err on the side of the smaller size because it can meet you in the middle.) While "no iron" may be a *bit* optimistic (as it always seems to be), these pants do travel pretty well, whether they're on your legs or in your suitcase. They are also available in a veritable rainbow of colors including khaki, grayish khaki, grayish-greenish khaki, and greenish-khaki. (But also non-khaki colors, though the black seems to have a built-in lint attractor.)
