Very sturdy and attractive rack. My only suggestion is to lightly sand it before use, within 10 minutes of putting it on display, it gave someone a small sliver.

This is a beautiful print rack; my second one from Mabef. Highly recommend this. Makes a professional presentation for your prints or matted artwork.

It smelled like wood when the box was opened

You do need to (lightly) sand the top rails and put felt on the shelf. It smelled like wood when the box was opened. I would not count any of these as negatives. Would I buy another one? Yep! There's a larger size available for posters and large canvases (MABEF Giant print rack). This is a company that obviously takes pride in their product. You definitely get what you pay for here and then some.

Well made display racks.

These are really well made. I agree with comments about the odor when they are first pulled out of the box. I aired them out on a porch for a few days and they have been fine for me. I'm not allergic to anything, so the smell hasn't been an issue for me. It is pretty strong, though, when the box is first opened. I use them to display large mounted photographs in clear bags. They work great, even in outdoor situations.

This print rack is sturdy, elegant and well designed. I bought mine used. No regrets. I will have this for many years.

Great Display piece!

The stand arrived and works well with the addition of a sticky rubber piece to keep the prints from sliding when it's not full. This is well made and much better thanb other cheaper but similar options shown on the web.
