Good outlet adapter for a light socket.
I bought this to plug in an Amazon Cloud Cam into a light socket, and it works perfectly. You'll use the chain to turn the light off and on, but the electrical outlets will stay powered as long as you don't flip your wall switch or whatever. Works really well for now, although some people have reported issues with the chain not working right after some use. This isn't an issue for me since I don't turn the light off that often, but I'll update this later if I do ever encounter any issues. For now I do recommend it though.

Quick fix for a pull chain fixture
Just the thing for when the chain in your pull-chain fixture breaks. Just screw this into it and you get the pull-chain again (as long as the original fixture is still in the "on" position) and you get a couple of outlets too.

Works as it should. Fair Price.

Does the job
I bought this to add in my attic and so for so good, the only thing is that since I had to put it horizontal instead of facing donward, it's a little hard to pull the chain.

What I needed
Just what I was looking for. Great price. Only complaint would be the length of the chain as I am short and can still barely reach it. Will need to add a sting or something to it.

This is nice to add an outlet to an existing closet "pull chain" fixture.
Just pull the chain to turn the closet fixture "on", then install this adapter, and move the string on the old pull chain to the pull chain on the adapter and Voila! you have an outlet in your closet (I plug a Dustbuster into mine). (The pull chain doesn't control the outlets).

Works great, I later found a 3 pack and ordered that as well. I do wish it would work without the bulb being "ON", but I might try unscrewing the bulb enough so it goes "off" and leave the adapter plug "ON". I will check with an electrician first, before doing this. The bonus, in my hanging lamp, the position of the bulb was to high in the lamp shade. With the adapter added, it lowed the bulb to the center of the shade and the light is perfect.

Handy option
Perfect. Allows you to turn one item off while having another item active in the 2 available plugs. Perhaps it might be nice to have a 3-pronged model, but I like that offers this handy option.

good economy adapter with pullchain
GE 54180 Socket Adapter with Pull Chain Light Control and 2 Outlet, Ivory this seems to be adequately built and beats screwing/unscrewing the lightbulb for a poorly-thought-out basement light with no switch, I got tired of burning my hand every time I had to turn it off. the chain should probably be longer and it could be a little more sturdy, but for the price it seems reasonable.

Came in handy on a special lamp.
if you have this screwed into a lamp... Hold base down, pull chain up!
