Unbreakable...so far

I wanted a hand sledge for wood splitting (starting the wedge) that could stand up to the stress. Other sledges with separate handles inevitably broke on me. The Estwing hammer seems to be holding up. See how it does through the wood splitting season.

High quality

What can you say? A hammer has a pretty simple function. This does seem to be very well constructed. It feels high quality. I am using it to split wood for kindling using a kindling cracker. It works really well for that purpose.

I love this hammer

I beat the heck out of some really big, hard rocks with this hammer and there's no so much as a mark on it. I love this hammer. Looks good. Works better.

it is extremely strong and durable. i use it for splitting wood with my kindling splitter and it holds up to the toughest over the shoulder swings.

Good hand sledge.

Fast shipping. Well balanced. One piece so I don’t have to worry about it flying off the handle. With my old one with the wooden handle I learned the hard way what flying off the handle means.

Good product

Really good hammer, I use it with my chisel. Only negative thing is that it seems to have been a little bit bent, but still works great. It is not very noticeable, and it is definitely still a very good hammer.
