My favorite Casein
Yep. I love ON. And I love ON Gold Standard Casein. I've used the vanilla and the banana, and both taste great & mix well (though they do take a few extra shakes of the mixer-bottle). I often will make a shake with 1 scoop gold standard whey (chocolate or banana) & 1 scoop gold standard casein (vanilla or banana). Together, the texture is just right - and the taste is spot on. ON wins brand of the year a lot during Olympia weekend, with Gold Standard Whey making perennial wins - and Gold Standard Casein either winning or in the wings. This is really great stuff, you can't go wrong.

ON products work best for me because I can feel and see how ...
Since whey rapidly increases protein synthesis and casein blocks protein breakdown, a combination of both would be ideal. That's why I take Whey protein (also from ON) in the morning and 2 scoops of Casein protein as a post-workout meal after my workout everyday. Casein is a slow digesting protein, thus, stays in body longer and works longer that's why it's often taken before bed (bed (if your goal is to build muscle and potentially gain weight) to build new muscles tissues and promote lean muscles grow. Not to mention, it also repairs broken-down muscle fibers after a workout while you sleep. So far, ON products work best for me because I can feel and see how my body changes through times. I've tried other bands but nothing beats this.

More satisfying than my last relationship; would put a ring on it if it weren't powder
Harness all the gains! Even my friend who would always say "eww gross" to protein shakes said she thought it was amazing when I had her try it. It basically tastes like a Reese's peanut butter cup, but less artificial, and obviously this stuff is protein instead of sugar/fat. I have always loved ON's products and gotten fantastic results with them. I actually just mix two scoops of this stuff with a little bit of water in a tiny shaker cup (it's like a "fun-size" blender bottle) and it blends super well and stays thick and tasty, and then you don't have to down so much volume all at once before bed. If you use a bit of warm water (complete sacrilege, I know, but stay with me) it's kind of like drinking hot coco w/ a peanut twist.

Delicious!
Most people dont like casein...too thick, tough to mix. My trick....about 10 oz of water in my shaker bottle, then my casein, then more water. Use a spoon or a handheld egg beater, then shake it. I've had the vanilla and chocolate peanut butter. Both taste great and mix fine with water

Terrific flavor, great way to fill in my macro gaps if I'm short on protein that day
What I love about casein protein is it keeps you full and absorbs slower than whey. I usually drink it before I go to bed, and it's so thick it's like drinking a shake, even when blended with just water. Makes me sleepy for bed, too . And since I like to keep track of my macros, this is a great way to add some extra protein if you realize you're falling short. Will buy again.

100% Gold Standard Casein ON
I started taking the ON casein cookies & creme about 2 months ago. I drink 14-16 oz cup before going to bed. I add 1/3 cup of frozen blueberries & 12 oz of Almond milk. I keep it inside the refrigerator for 2 hrs to get cold for better taste and comes out good just like a milk shake. I avoid adding bananas because comes out tasting like a thick smoothie. Since the time I started taking the ON casein I've notice my body more define than before. I take it when I workout & days I don't. I will definitely continue buying the ON casein from now on.

Experimented with casein, never training without it now.
This was the missing link to my nutrition. I was always extremely sore for days after an intense workout, was getting a whey shake in after, and was eating a lot of protein, what I didn't realize was that I was going getting sore overnight because I wasn't eating before bed. Enter casein, this protein isn't digested quickly so it provides more available protein over an extended period of time, meaning that while I sleep, my muscles can continue to rebuild instead of running out of available proteins to synthesize and prolonging the soreness. This has seriously cut my muscle recovery times down by at least 2 days from heavy sets. If you aren't using casein as a part of your supplement stack and you're sore for what seems like forever after leg day...get some.

Case in point for Casein!
Don't eat after 9? Why you ask? You'll turn into a gremlin! I jest. In my case, Casein protein and Whey protein was primarily consumed after strength training in the morning. You can consume Casein specifically prior to bed. You won't sleep hungry and your body will not catabolize on your muscles from the workout. As they say in the bodybuilding community, "you won't lose your gainz!" Preferred choice of liquid is Almond Milk. Whole Milk is great, too!

Great taste
Highly recommended product. Previously I was eating cottage cheese before going to sleep but it was not so tasty as Casein. Also I use each time two cups of casein so it gives me 50g protein for a night which is much more than I can get from cottage cheese. Love the taste and result. Already ordered my second one.

solid choice of casein supplement
A solid choice for casein protein. It's a little pricey but ON is generally rated well by labs. ON protein powders tend to have pretty good flavors. I'd rate the chocolate supreme casein a 7.5 out of 10. Chocolate supreme is also one of the lower-carbohydrate powders in comparison to the other flavors (although ON generally keeps the carb count low in their protein powders anyway). It mixed well and is easy on the stomach.
