Better than Snap-On
I find Gearwrench products to be as good if not better than Snap-On, for about half the price. This hook and pick set is no exception! Quality finish. Feels good in the hand. They work like a charm. I was so impressed I purchased the screwdriver set and the scraper set too. I'm now a Gearwrench fan. I'll buy their tools from now on!

Quality Product
Beautiful mate satin finish on metal. Solid grips. Tips are very sharp pointed; maybe too sharp. Be careful not to stick/cut yourself using them.

Replaced blade grease seals on wind turbines with these picks
Used them to clean glue tracks to lay down new glue. Great picks. All the other ones were not as sturdy. Really comes in handy at the house for misc. True story I actually dropped one from up tower ~300 ft. and it survived! Durable and very useful.

Great picks for a reasonable price
Theses are a nice, sold set of pics. They're well made. The handles are a little larger than some competitors, but that allows for a nice fit in the hand. The molding quality of the handles is great, so they're comfortable to use. The metal portion is tough (I haven't bent any of them yet), so I anticipate that they'll last for quite a long time before I need to try out the warranty.

I am a aircraft mechanic and these are great for heavy duty cotter line
Very durable. I am a aircraft mechanic and these are great for heavy duty cotter line. And the tray is nice for having your box shadowed.

Great Tool
I use these to work on BMWs however this is a great set for any mechanic. I like that you get some small ones and some big ones. They are strong and have been used everyday for a year so far with no problems. Something like this from Snap On would be double the price, and it's not like you would get a fancier or better pick for that price. You can't go wrong with these.

seem like a good value
I am just using these as a do it yourself homeowner. I used to work on cars a few decades ago as an ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician. I also went to UTI for automotive and diesel technology. These seem like real decent buy. I also got them on sale so that helped. Quality seems very decent also. I don't care for the pis s poor gearwrench warranty where you have to mail the tool in at your cost to get a new tool. You might get lucky and find a NAPA auto parts nearby or another authorized dealer that has these in stock if you break them. They can exchange them I heard. At this point I would buy these again if I needed to.

Nice set
nice set decent quality for the price. don't really use them as much as I thought I would but I guess thats my own fault. comes with a tray to keep them in. the tray is a little unorganized you have to take one pick out to get to another sometimes but other than that I have no complaints would reccomend to anyone looking for a good set.

Perfect gift for your crafty Uncle
Almost got these for me but gave them to my Uncle as a birthday present. The handles are bigger and more comfortable than many other style pick sets. Great for DIY projects, car tinkering, etc

Gearwrench tools in my opinion seem to be the best compromise between quality and price
Gearwrench tools in my opinion seem to be the best compromise between quality and price. Not quite as good of quality as a tool truck brand but only about 1/6 the price. The handles on these are not as good as matco or snapon but should work well regardless. I have alot of gearwrench brand tools for at home use and plan on buying more as needed. I'll stick with the tool truck brands for professional use.
