It was a great jacket. I bought it for my life sucker of an ex. I am sure it's keeping her warm, even though she has an ice cold heart.

Sizes are bigger. Don’t buy too big.

Love this jacket. Just got cold enough this week to wear it. I paid attention to the sizing in the comments. also tried a couple on locally. I’m 5’7” 190 and bought the medium. It fits perfectly. I can put a T-shirt and long sleeve workout jacket/thermal underneath. Perfect for trails in the shade.

Very warm! I almost got a large but I’m glad I went with the medium. Fits great! Loose enough for a swearshirt underneath. I wear mine over a Columbia fleece. I’m 5’3 and about 155lbs for your reference :)

I ordered this assuming it would be like every other "Plus Size" merchandise like this, & that it would be too small. But, I am very happy with my purchase. Fit is great. I usually wear anywhere from a XL to 2XL in tops, depending on where it's from... I am 5'9" with very large "girls" (40F), so I was very glad to find a jacket that is girly that I can wear on our mud rides! My only complaint is the sleeves are a tad too short (if I stretch my arms straight out in front of me, they rise up past my wrists...) but how often does that happen?

Great Jacket but Large is too Big!

This is a fantastic jacket, wonderful quality and very warm, but the large was much too big! I'm around 170 lbs 5'4" and have a very large bust and was still swimming in the large. I ended up trying different sizes on in person at our local Farm & Fleet before reordering on Amazon. The medium fits perfectly and is much more flattering. The tags actually list the large as a size 12-14 and the medium as an 8-10 if that helps.

Favorite work jacket!

Love everything about this jacket. This is my first time buying anything Carhartt and I am very pleased. The color is nice, the material is super durable, and it fits great. I am usually a size large in jackets or hoodies, because I dont like them fitting too tight. Other reviews said to size down with this one though, and they were right. I ordered a medium and it fits perfect. I'm able to wear a sweatshirt underneath comfortably and still have flexibility with the jacket all the way zipped up. For size reference I am 5' 9" and 175 lbs. I love that the hood actually covers my whole head too without it being too tight or falling back. Sleeves only come up an inch or so with arms fully extended, but it isn't obnoxious. The elastic waistband and sleeve cuffs are very comfortable and make for a better fit as well. So far the coldest the weather has gotten since I've owned it is in the low 50s, and the jacket keeps me extra warm. I'm sure it will still be great in even colder weather. Overall, highly satisfied with this purchase!

Favorite Fit So Far! Definitely Recommend.

Perfect! I'm 5' 2" and ordered a Small. Fit as expected. Roomy enough for fitting a few layers beneath and great for working in! I can reach, bend, twist, etc. and it moves with me while doing a surprisingly admirable job keeping the mud, dirt, and cold out. I love the long torso, sturdy zipper (be careful, it can eat your other layers) warm lining, and the ribbed waistband and cuffs -it keeps the the elements out while gardening, splitting firewood, clearing brush, etc. and the warm in. I've had it for several seasons now and its holding up magnificently to all sorts of stuff. My other Carhartt jacket is going strong at 10+ years (our oldest Carhartt is 23 years old and only has frayed cuffs!) and this is my favorite fit to date. I look forward to having this one for years to come.

Extremely nice jacket. Sizing runs big.

Size - I am 5'7" and 163 lbs. I originally ordered the medium, but decided to exchange for a small. I felt like I was swimming in the medium. Now I have the small and I love it. It fits much better and I can definitely still fit a hoodie under it. I can see how people might be uncomfortable with the length of the sleeves. They are a little short, but not enough to where it bothers me. Quality - The durability that comes with Carhartt is undeniable. Everyone in my family has been wearing them for a long time. Personally, This is my first one and I'm so excited I finally have one of my own! Now I can stop borrowing moms :-) I'm thrilled knowing i'll have it for a very long time. Color - Beautiful! Looks just like the picture. I love that I can still have the classic Carhartt look at the same time as not being limited to brown/tan. I hope this was helpful and that you decide to get one! It's so worth it.

Comfy & durable

I really like this jacket. I am 5'3" and 125lbs. I first ordered a small in the "burl wool" color and it was 1) FAR too large and 2) the burl wool color is NOTHING like the photo (girly soft pink). It is more like burlap tan FYI. I re-ordered in a XS and the purple color. The purple is not as dark in the photo unfortunately, but it is still more feminine so I am keeping it. Fit wise - it is still pretty large for me at the top. But its not bothersome at all for moving around. It is very warm, I can wear a tshirt under here and go out in 30 degree weather and not feel cold at all. I really like that this has the elastic waist to keep the warmth in. This is a very durable jacket that will last a long time. Like others said, the zipper is stiffer when you get it but it does get easier to use over time.

Color is spot on teal

Color is stunning and not as faded as it looks in other reviewers pics. I’m 5’7” and a medium is perfect. I was going to order a large for layering per usual but after reading reviews about sizing I’m happy with the medium and there is plenty of room for proper layering for colder weather. This is a beautiful coat. I assumed it had a black Sherpa lining but it is a quilted lining. I’m fine with either but if that is important to you then it’s good to know. I am thrilled with the color. Sometimes those Carharts don’t look the same online as they do on the rack but this teal is very true to the picture. I doubt anyone would regret this purchase as long as they pay attention to the sizing.
