Well, my cat chewed all of my 2002 HK speakers that worked great for 15 years. The Logitech Z323 with Subwoofer perform just as well or in most cases better than the $200 HK I bought 15 years ago. The cables from the Sub to the L&R speakers are longer than described, which worked out great for the location I have them in. These are great PC speakers, I was very surprised how well they sound for the money and size. Buy them, you won't be disappointed!

My main computer speakers. Bass unit is turned down to balance it. I have had these for nearly a year now. Excellent sound quality for the price. Do not use these if your intention is to properly balance and mix music. Adequate for light video and audio editing.

I am...amazed. Flatly amazed. These speakers take up so little room on my desk, yet they put out such a big sound. When I first opened the shipping box I was thinking "This box is much too light to be this big.". Then when I got the shipping box open and found the product box inside and it was less than half the size of the shipping box I was stunned. It was almost tiny. The two speakers are about "normal" size for PC speakers. It's the subwoofer that's the surprising bit. It's approx 6 inches tall and 6 inches deep and 4 inches wide. And it hardly weighs much of anything. But it feels solid. Knocking on the sides you can tell that there's no internal bracing. It sounds hollow. And there's not much to the weight of it, so you know that there's hardly any material to the box itself; meaning that the sides are probably fairly thin. Maybe a quarter inch. But since the power output is only about 20 watts for the sub, then the box doesn't need much mass. After a 2 week break-in period I sat down with various pieces of music to get an all round feel for the sound these speakers are capable of. Pushing the speakers at 3/4 volume (sub set at 4/9) with Bad Company's "Electric Land", the bass was solid without a trace of flabbiness. Though the speakers did sound a little strained at the high sound level. Backing off slightly makes all the difference in the world. The fact that the speakers are bi-polar makes them actually disappear in the sound stage. Though, because the speakers only contain "one" driver they can't give you "room filling sound". You can definitely tell that these are small speakers. Leaving the settings exactly the same, and testing with various genre (except rap and opera, because I can't stand rap or opera) reveals that this initial impression was good across the spectrum. For $50 these PC speakers are spectacular performers. (PS: If they don't survive long or fail in some way before a years time, I'll come back and update this review.)

* Note: I completely turned off the audiophile parts of my personality for this review. It took less than 10 minutes to hook up and start playing my favorite music, and, MAN! IT SOUNDS GOOD!!! These are great little speakers for my Computer. I have nice speakers on a nice stereo, but wanted something for desktop audio for browsing facebook, watching youtube, playing games. These look they will do the job just fine. Pros: -they are completely quite when they're not being used. There is no hum, buzz, static, high pitched whine, or other noises coming from these when no audio is playing. -The are easy to install. -They sound good -Each piece is relatively small, taking up little of my desktop real estate; the subwoofer is also small, fitting easily on the floor. -There is a separate volume control on the sub-woofer for bass. -On the Right speaker there is an easy to use physical rotating knob for the main volume. There is a clear "CLICK" when turned fully counter-clockwise and turned off. there are no controls on the left speaker. -When turned ON there is a easy to see, but non-intrusive yellow LED on the right speaker, directly above the volume/ power control. -Everything is included that you need to use these speakers. -Straight-forward, Old-School operation: no WiFi nor Bluetooth connectivity. Only 3.5mm audio plug OR RCA (white and red) inputs. -This will work as easily as speakers for a smart phone or tablet as for a desktop or laptop computer. Cons: -I have a standing desk, with my desktop computer to the LEFT of my monitors. The included cables were not long enough for this configuration. Since the Audio input is affixed to the RIGHT speaker, and it is only approx 5.5' long, it will not reach to the far left of my desk. I had to use a 6' extension cable for the 3.5mm audio cable. Note, that even for a 'normal' sitting desk, the audio cable will likely be too short for many people. Please consider purchasing an extension cable when you buy these speakers.

I've used Logitech speakers before and never had issues. This is no exception. Arrived with no issues and that feeling when you peel away the plastic was great. Sounds awesome, little deeper than most other speakers so adjust your base per your system. I did end up placing my speakers and sub woofer on top of my table as opposed to sub woofer on the floor. I have neighbors downstairs and I felt that the sub woofer, which has its speaker pointing down vs to the side, would be too loud. But even with it on my desk, it sounds great. Can't really complain with something that just works.

The quality of this system is more than enough to meet my needs and it plays very nice with my budget. The speakers are weighty and attractive with rubber feet that grip a glass desk-top. The subwoofer has a tiny footprint and is more than powerful enough. The adjustable bass is the best feature, a critical factor when listening to records and adjusting in real time for the best sound. I have these hooked up to both my computer and turntable which are next to each other. Everything is able to remain hooked up simultaneously so there is no wire play when I want to use either the computer or turntable. Originally bought this system for the turntable, but I made the mistake of hooking them up to my computer to test them out and now I refuse to part with them - they are fantastic for gaming and blow my old budget dell speakers out of the water. I threw my old speakers out the same day. So now I've got them hooked up to both. If I ever decide to move the turntable to a different room, I would happily buy this system again to go with it. For records this system has been more than adequate and I am in love with the sound quality as well as the price I paid. These speakers are ridiculously loud to the point where I am cautious when adjusting the knob. (Close neighbors.) I am always able to find a comfortable setting for the bass for every record I put on. I love adjusting the knob and hearing the drastic improvements it can make. Between this system and my ancient, beastly Logitech gaming mouse, I have become a huge fan of this company's products.

Got these to go with my Alexa (AKA Echo). I researched MANY other speakers at all kinds of prices. Got these because they are so similar to the Logitech Speakers (with Subwoofer) I already have on my computer. They have always had deep, rich sound. These were even better than expected. plugged right in and worked right away with Alexa. BEST BET for the money... or even form any speakers that would cost 80 to $90. I highly recommend this.

These are GREAT sounding speakers. They are 2.1 set up, comparable to a 5.1. The 360 degree sound, I didn’t quite understand that concept. But now I do. The sound has a lot of depth, making Netflix a lot better to watch on my computer. I’m happy I bought this set, rather than the less expensive 313, that I also considered. This set has great quality sound is well worth paying a few more dollars for this set. But of course, logitech is a reliable name, that is well known good quality products. So I have high expectations from Logitech. But Logitech, managed to exceed my expectations on these speakers. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Nice speaker system, got this as a gift for my son. Huge upgrade from the system he was using, some generic 2.1 setup with about 25w and an annoying buzz. It looked like it was straight outta 1991 or something! LOL Anyway, this Logitech setup sounds great, is plenty loud, looks modern, and we haven't noticed any annoying quirks, yet. I went with Logitech because I have several other products from them, including a Z906 500w RMS setup, which roars beautifully. I have come to trust the brand as high-quality products that outlast the competition 9 times outta 10! P.S. I was surprised at how rich and deep the bass gets for such a little subwoofer!

I bought the speaker system for my desktop and honestly went initially with Logitech because of my past experiences with them. However, I am so impressed with the purchase!! If you are looking for a speaker system for your desktop, this IS the system for you to buy! It's easy to install, has a AWESOME sound, an included sub woofer, and the speakers don't fall over. The speakers are not top heavy and the cords are long if you want to hide with a twisty. They also have a easy to access input for a iPod or iPhone if you want to use them for music as well.
