These are great - just like I remember as a kid (you know back in the days when selfies were called "no one likes me enough to take my picture" ) The sugar has a nice hold on to the wooden stick and does not fall off in giant clumps which is a plus. The flavors are not overly sweet even though you are technically sucking on a bag of sugar. My dentist may disagree but I love these.

Great Value !
Great Value ! I use these often for candy tables, they were completely intact when they arrived and individually wrapped and fresh upon arrival.

This brand has large, distinct crystals. Fun to eat. Tasty flavors. Educational for kids.
You get several tasty flavors plus some with no flavoring added. The crystals are larger than the other brand I have tried. More fun to eat because I can break off a crystal or two and eat them like little sugar nuggets. It's very hard to do that with the other brand because that brand's crystals are smaller and blobbed together more tightly. The other brand has fewer flavors and doesn't come with sticks that have no flavoring. I prefer this brand though the other brand has very, very tasty flavorings. Get this brand for a fairly quick to eat treat similar to a candy bar. (It actually takes longer to eat and has fewer calories than a typical chocolate bar.) Get the other brand if you are one of THOSE people who can lick an entire ice cream cone without biting into it even once. I have no such restraint. By the way, rock candy is a great way to introduce the fascinating world of crystals to kids. Especially this brand. Show them these huge crystals then look at table sugar to show off that it is also made up of crystals. Tiny crystals. So is salt. Use a magnifying glass. Then show off an amethyst. Quartz. Mica. Diamond. Talk about the different shapes of crystals. This can eventually lead to a rousing discussion of how elemental things combine to form other things. Use how yellow plus blue creates green while yellow plus red creates orange as a springboard to the fact that copper plus tin creates bronze while copper plus zinc creates brass... and the elements of hydrogen and oxygen form water, H2O! I know. That sounds a bit crazy but I caught a little girl at just the right age and ability and she ate up this lesson. Literally. In the purest sense of the word "literally". Haha! She "got" it and ever since then has asked much more sophisticated questions about the world. Rocks are no longer just rocks and she is much more curious about how things are made. Rock candy is a sneaky way to introduce kids to geology, chemistry, and even physics. So fun! And tasty! By the way, look up the instructions on how you and your kid can grow your own rock candy! It looks pretty easy, though not for a kid to do alone given it includes boiling water. It's also a long process. No candy for a couple weeks. It sounds fun though. And edible.

Great vaue, great taste and very pretty
Wow! Everything was spot on with this order --zero complaints. GREAT value. Bought these for a pink/gold themed baby shower after seeing how expensive they were on etsy. After shipping I think they averaged about $3 a pop. I unwrapped them all, coated them with edible gold paint (used a sponge brush, coated twice over 24hrs, held up fine to open air around 75-80F and high humidity) bought cellophane bags, and tied with pink and gold ribbon. Did the math and after all the extra stuff it came out to about a buck a pop. Personally this sort of treat grosses me out but everyone (adults and kids) were chomping away at them at the party and I had some people asking where I got them from so I highly recommend purchasing these!

Great value for the price
Great value for the price. I've never found rock candy this inexpensive, and the kids loved it. We used it as one of the many prizes at a carnival themed event, and everyone went nuts over it. I wasn't able to taste any personally, since they vanished so quickly, but I heard nothing but great things. You could also use this for a kids gift, or added to desserts (I've seen blue and white candy rock candy on an Elsa Frozen cake), or you could use it in a kids dinosaur themed birthday dessert table. I love all the options and possibilities you can use this for (clearly I'm obsessed with this product). I would 100% definitely buy this again in the future.

Flavorful and none came to me broken
My husband became a USA and I had a surprise party with a patriotic theme. To be honest, I went through so many rock candy listings and read all of the reviews. I had two main concerns: 1. The candy would come in broken 2. they candy would taste gross 3. I didn't want to pay too much After reading all the reviews for this product and seller, I took a HUGE leap of faith and purchased. When my product came in, it was wrapped with care in a round tub. Each rock candy is individually wrapped which was perfect for the candy bar. And when my 5 year old daughter taste tested the product (The blue one), she said it was delicious but, she needed to taste test the red and white also to confirm her findings. (I wasn't letting her have anymore as she was starting to get a sugar rush). If I ever have another patriotic themed party, I most likely will buy these again. (My daughter now wants to make them from home)

Family approved rock candy :-)
Each individually wrapped stick arrived whole; no broken pieces :-) Nice bright color; appetizing appearance. I purchased for sweetening coffee; of course everyone just loves eating right off the stick! Family very happy. Review update: I have purchased these several times over: for gifts and for home use. The most recent purchase is to decorate the tables for a family occasion :-)

Creepy
Bought these for a Halloween party. Was expecting dark purple, it is black. Very lightly flavored. Smells like cotton candy, not sure I would have identified it as Black Cherry, just vaguely fruity. The crystals were nicely sized on a wooden dowel. The dowel is too long to get all the candy off forwards (like a lollipop) and requires turning the stick sideways (like an ear of corn). I thought I would be clever and break the end of the dowel off to reach the candy, DO NOT try to break the stick! The candy went flying off the stick in three directions. I was a bit concerned about the foreign origin of the candy, but I seem to have survived eating the one piece.
