I love it. Cooks fast and easy to clean.

I wasn't sure about getting a grill without removable plates but went for it anyway because of the price differential and I also wasn't sure how often I'd really use it. No worries on either count. It is unbelievably easy to clean - the ad says nonstick and it really is! I just wipe it with a wet paper towel and that does the job. That's a HUGE plus in my book and because of that I have been using it daily. From panini sandwiches in 3 minutes to chicken breasts in 5 minutes, pork chops, burgers, and so on; it is an a fabulous time saver. I like this particular model because of the grill size, some are just too small to be practical unless you truly cook for 1 or 2 all the time. We often have weekend guests and a panini sandwich for lunch is so easy. It makes an impressive presentation and is delicious to boot. There are lots of panini recipes online so I put together my own cookbook, most are perfect for a tasty and quick dinner as well. As an aside, I did think about the 3 in 1 model but I already have muffin pans, a griddle an an electric fry-pan, so although it might have been nice, I really didn't need those bells and whistles. I could have gotten rid of those things but why waste the money?

So far I have used this grill three times while cooking bacon, pork loins, and steak. This grill is fantastic. You can cook your food with the lid either open or closed depending on the effect you are looking for. The grill cooks evenly which is a big time plus! Clean up is easy as well. The grill is truly nonstick. I highly recommend this grill.

Have had this exact same grill before, it lasted a few years before it finally just wasn't cooking on both sides. So I finally bought this one and it's just as great as our first one. Worth the price for so much that we grilled without having to pull out the big grill.

I know it's a little cliche' to own one of these. I don't care. I was tired of cleaning the broiler all of the time after cooking steaks and burgers. I decided to give this a shot. I am pleasantly surprised at how well this thing cooks meat. I use it 3 - 4 times a week. It's big enough to cook 6-7 medium burgers or 3-4 small steaks. Steaks, pork chops and chicken all cook evenly and quickly while remaining moist. The cleanup is relatively easy. I followed another reviewer's suggestion to wipe the grill plates down with a damp paper towel as soon as I removed the meats and follow up with a damp cloth after it cools down. This is about as easy as cooking gets. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Seriously? Probably the best purchase I've made in years! It arrived yesterday, and I've used it twice today. I made boneless pork chops for lunch, and ham sandwiches for dinner. I'm dieting, and this is really going to help me. The pork chops were to die for. I salt, peppered, and garlic powdered the chops, then rubbed them with olive oil. I read where others were lining both top and bottom of the grill with aluminum foil, and I went that route. I wasn't sure how good that would work, but it was great. I like all my meat well done, and it didn't let me down. My vegetables steamed in 6 minutes, (microwave) and I cooked my pork chops in 10 minutes. They browned just like they were fried, and were as good, if not better. Then I made a grilled ham sandwich in it for a light dinner. Unlike toasting the bread, this was moist, and delicious. The lettuce wilted to perfection. My husband planned to have leftover pork chops, but after seeing my sandwich, he decided to have one, too. I should work for George Foreman! I think this is the best thing going as far as fast, delicious food! I don't mind the little bit of butter it takes to grill a sandwich, but this taste so much better, and no pan to clean up if you use the aluminum foil. I read that parchment paper works too, and I plan to give that a try. I love my grill!

This thing is great. Question: How do you turn it on? Answer: You plug it in. Question: How do you adjust the temperature? Answer: You don't. Just plug it in. Question: How do I cook with it? Answer: Simple, plug it in and put the meat in it. This is a product you can use immediately without reading the instructions. It's fast. It cooks meat evenly, quickly, and it is mess free. I love this thing.

I recently purchased another brand name (HB) tabletop grill and after 3 uses, I was dissatisfied and back to the store it went. I have always had good luck w/GF's, but wanted to 'venture' to another brand solely based on reviews. Pros: Huge, huge, huge, huge. I have cooked 8 hamburgers on this with room to spare (probably can fit more but I make large 'burgs), have fit 4-1.5lb. boneless ribeyes, and 7 kabobs. The grill heats up within 5 minutes and you're ready to go. Grates cook all food evenly, although try and place all food towards middle, not the edges, tends to have less heat, but if 1 person wants a rare burg or steak and another wants med.-rare, just place the rare meat towards the edge and grill all at the same time. I have found grilling that way makes everyone happy. Steaks were ready (med.-rare) in 7 minutes. Clean up was much easier than other grill. Had no trouble using the wet paper towel cleanup. Other grills with a wide rear opening will drip grease onto countertop making a mess. GF is super easy to clean. GF has vastly improved the hinges. I purchased a hinged GF 5 years ago and hated it. Food tended to slide down from the top. The hinges seem to be fastened tighter and food does not slide. Cons: Sure the grates are not removable for easy cleaning, but after reading reviews for removable grates, I found many wrote the grill does not heat up as fast, cooks as fast and evenly, and takes longer. Compared to evenly grilled food, I'll take the cleanup. Do not use the manual's grilling chart unless you want food well-done. Bottom line: The price cannot be beat for the size, previous GF's have lasted me many years with no problems. This GF can grill for 5-7 people easily depending on size of meat/veggies, it looks heavy but isn't, stores easily, and the hinges are much improved.

This is the third one of these I have bought in about five years. I say this is about a two year grill. I am NOT saying that in a bad way. In our house this grill is used almost everyday, sometimes more. For that much use out of product costing no more than this does, that's is a very fair statement. This grill has been around sometime, the first one that I bought was a 100 dollars on sale. They are very reasonable priced for what you get. They get rid of most of the grease, cook it to you taste, very fair in the clean up. This is my hamburger maker, has been for years. If nothing else, I'd buy this grill just for hamburgers. Most every piece of meat that is cooked on this grill, comes out perfection. If you take care of this grill and didn't use it 7 days a week, I am certain that it would last for ump teen years. I buy these grills to use, my grills that I purchase are perfect every time. Since the price is about half what it used to be and the grills have been perfected a little more, they are worth every penny. All that I have to add, once you get accustomed to using this grill, I really believe that you will never be without one. Grills to perfection, easy to clean, minimal storage and an honest and fair price. What more could it be about than that...

This product works extremely efficiently and is perfect for feeding the family. If you need to cook more food at once this is the choice for you. I can usually fit about 5 frozen burger patties at the same time on the cooking surface. Cleaning is a bit challenging because the grill plates are attached to the unit and I try not to submerge the unit. Requires some finesse to get the soap rinsed off. I use a soft blue sponge and soft bristle cleaning brush to clean. The drip tray is dishwasher safe, however, I usually just clean it by hand.
