Great Compressor for shock with spring assemblies.

I built a larger base and bolted the compressor unit to the base. This provides a solid platform to work on. The hydraulic jack unit I received is rated for 2 1/2 ton, and easily compresses the heavy duty springs for my vehicle. As with all tools, keep safety in mind and work smart. The compressor will do it's job if it is used as designed. At this price point, it is a great value for the dollar.
