These are inexpensive and easy to install. I placed mine around the bar, in an under-mount position on my WR. I suggest placing some aluminum tape around the ball end of the mirror before install as this will keep it from rotating. It will crush the aluminum just enough when you torque it to take up space in the mount and will not allow the mirror to rotate out of position while in operation. Also, you may need longer bolts since the bar is larger in circumference than the bar end insert, my old set had different bolts and were longer. This new set seemed like there were shorter length bolts.

These mirrors are not bad for the price. I bought them because they were cheap. The BMW r nine t utilizes a 12 mm bolt in compared with the 7/8 bolt provided here. This kit also comes with a 13mm expansion. In order to fit it on the r nine t I drilled a hole three the existing 7/8 with a 5/32 bit. Worked fine for the money. Torquing the bolts for adjustment must be torqued extremely hard to stay. But they work. If they move torque it more.

Got if for the FJ CRUISER. I installed in the EGRESS/INGRESS handles inside. I chucked the motorcycle adapter and got a large rubber grommet to protect the handle. The thing I like about the mirror is the rather large diameter compared to the dinky little guys that use double sided tape to stick on the rear view mirrors, which kind of works at night but is hard to tell what you are seeing during the day. This unit is at least triple the dinky ones, and works much better.

I'm not a bug guy at 5' 8" but I must have wide shoulders and find that with normal mirrors that I have to lean over to see behind me and often its just easier to look behind myself. These mirrors are exactly what I was looking for, they are easy to install and I think I will be ordering more to go on all our bikes. I also like how it seems to de-clutter the area over the handlebars, just a much cleaner look! I think that I will look for a phone mount now to go in place of the old mirror, may be nice to use with GPS?!?! I may have liked it if the mirror was not so convexed, but with these mirrors I can see behind myself on both sides by looking in just one mirror. But with that everything is MUCH closer than it appears. One more thing, I would have liked is if the mirrors came with the proper size hex wrenches to mount them. BTW, if you're looking for a good way to cut away the end of the handle grips I would recommend a stepping drill bit (Like this... http://amzn.com/B000FZ2UOY). It will drill away the rubber or plastic grips quickly and leave you with a very clean finish. I saw a lot of folks just cutting away the grips using a razor knife and it looked really bad and in some cases they needed to put on new grips. This method worked VERY well for me. Good luck on your project!

I love these mirrors. I bought them for my 1986 Ninja ZX600 Streetfighter Project and needed new mirrors after taking the fairings off. The install is super simple: I don't understand how people have trouble with them. It took 10 minutes for both mirrors. 1.) Take off old bar ends (Usually a nut holding them, my bike, it was just a rubber piece stuffed in that I pulled out with vicegrips. 2.) Stick the mirror in the end of the bar 3.) Tighten the allen-head bolt down 4.) Adjust the mirrors and tighten down the smaller allen-heads These have a nut on the other end that pushes against an aluminum casing that expands as you tighten the bolt down. You gotta crank on the bolt hard, but it will stay in there. They don't vibrate while riding. This is my second pair. My first pair, from a different vendor, had both mirrors convex. I actually ended up dropping my bike and broke the left hand mirror, so I ordered this set. I love this set more! The left side is a normal mirror, and the right side is convex, like a car. (Ever notice the text on the passenger side mirror that says 'Objects in mirror may appear further'? That's because your passenger mirror is convex so you have a wider field of view.) For a video of the install, look up my Youtube Channel Buget Project and the video "1986 Ninja 600 Streetfighter - Bar End Mirrors - Part 8"

This product is awesome. I was surprised about the quality of it, and the design. It includes 2 an adapter in case your bars are thicker, if they are narrower then take the adapter off and you’re set. Really straight forward product and when tighten it won’t go anywhere. You get an awesome and clear view of what’s behind you. Installation: Place the screw with the expansion boot in the bars Tighten the screw so that the boot expands and it grabs into the inside of the bar Adjust mirrors to personal preference Tighten everything You’re done ! Easy process !

I use just the left mirror on my 2013 Kawasaki zx6r, and I love it! The two mounting bolts were already loose when I opened the box, the clamp bolts would barely turn, and the expanding mount was too small for the handlebar. To remedy this, I dumped light (not gel) superglue into the mounting bolt threads and between the mirror and mounting arm. I removed the clamp bolts and greased them with teflon grease. I wrapped tape around the expanding mount before I slid and tightened it into my handlebar. In a year, I'll buy a new set for $12! That's $1 a month I pay for a mirror that looks great, and works perfectly. A mirror fix-it ticket alone would cost me $25! I'm all about investing in quality products long term, but this is a bar end mirror that comes half an inch from being smashed to smithereens when I'm lane splitting here in California. I highly recommend this product, just make sure you prepare it the way I did before you use it.

These installed quickly and easily and I am very pleased with them. Be warned they do have mirrors that make objects look farther away and smaller than they really are. It takes a little getting used to. I also noticed during installation that some of the expansion collets turned around the wrong way so be sure when you're putting them in that everything is lined up correctly so the collets will expand and grip inside your bars in the right way. I intend to buy another pair for another bike soon. I recommend these.

I really like these lights. Priced right. easy to install, good light output. I use them as daytime driving lights. Mounted them under my bumper on my jeep front and back. they make very nice backup lights. Hooked them to a relay and harness. Good to go. Just cant beat the price on these.

Let's face it, you are buying $12-15 mirrors here. They are made of light grade aluminum, so if you aren't careful, they will break. I haven't had that issue once they're on the bike, but it can absolutely happen during the install. That being said, I actually like these ones because of that reason - they are super easy to modify to fit directly on the standard 7/8" handlebar. If you have a Dremel or half-round file and 15 minutes you can carve out the clamps to fit the standard handlebar bar diameter and get rid of the compression washers entirely. I'm on my second set- the first set I bought and had to come up with the idea to modify the clamps due to bar-end turn signals in the way. This set I bought because I found out the compression washers can deform the bar and restrict the throttle tube. I mean, for this price, get two sets and you have some backups in case you screw up or one breaks. Seriously though, unless you want to spend $80+ dollars on the middle to high-end bar ends, give these a try.
