Hard to beat, especially for $25
I needed a little more volume from my PC, it's kind of my personal entertainment system, so I thought speakers would be the answer. I've had Logitech in the past so I checked out their current offerings and found this system, currently at $24.99. They have everything I needed, power and clarity along with a neat little pod controller. I love this system and would buy it again, it does, however, have one little flaw. It's been mentioned before, but the bass is a little much. I am somewhat surprised that Logitech doesn't simply offer a free equalizer on their web site, The good news is that there are several good, free equalizers out there. Just google and you'll find a good many. Personally, for music I use Media Monkey and it has a built in equalizer that makes this system sound like anything but a $25 speaker set. I'm sure the true audiophiles would want a lot more, probably paying a whole lot more. This is truly a fine set of PC speakers that really puts your PC sound at a whole new level.

I'm impressed! Worth the money
These are replacing 10 years old Altec Lansing computer speakers that sounded quite nice. To me, these sound better and have a richness that the Altecs' couldn't produce. When I'm in my laser work shed, I listen to music or watch streaming news. If I *really* want to listen to music, I crank up the stereo with EQ & 4 full sized speakers. If I am more casually listening to online news, Youtube music videos or my own collection of music while working on the computer, these are perfect speakers. If I wanted to crank them up enough to annoy others, these can handle that, too. I would recommend these to others that don't want to blow the windows out, but want a satisfying, richer sound in a small speaker system. A reasonable price for impressive computer speakers. I do have to say,if you download or have an EQ on your computer or device, this speaker system comes alive and greatly adds to it richness. I thought the wired on/off/volume control was goofy before I set them up, but I have to admit, I'm glad it has this useful feature. I have it next to the mouse and love that. Would I buy these again? Yes.

Nice upgrade from my old speakers.
I used to have a set of cheap desktop speakers (also Logitech) that I've had for about 17 years now. I stream music on my computer frequently and decided it was time to improve the sound, but didn't wan to break the bank. I didn't care if they were wireless, they sit on the desk next to my monitor, though I think they have a bluetooth option for a few bucks more. These are budget speakers, so don't expect a booming system. They produce good clean sound, but you're not going to get super deep bass like a large sub woofer is going to produce. Not to say they sound bad, because the sound is respectable for a desktop speaker set. The sub has a long enough cord to put it under/beside the desk if you want to, but I've got mine sitting on top of it. The satellite speakers have to plug into the back of the sub, so location COULD be limited depending on where you put the sub, but there seems to be plenty of cord to not be completely restrictive. I have no issues, but all 3 are on the desk. The volume/power "remote" is a little weird, but it works just fine. I don't understand the design idea behind wiring it up like that but it's functional and the cord seems long enough to not be an issue with it either. Overall they're nice speakers. They sound a lot better than my old speakers and are definitely affordable. If you're looking for a budget speaker set, these are worth considering. Just don't expect them to sound like a $100+ system and you won't be disappointed.

Awesome
This is a great set of speakers! I was originally going to go with the Z333 setup but since it was $60 I decided to go with this one Instead since it also has a woofer and let me tell you guys, these do not dissapoint. My volume is currently set to 10 and that is enough to fill the room with some pleasant bass and super clear highs and mids. The cables are nice and long so they can actually have some space between them. The control knob to turn on the speakers is a very nice touch. It has a scroll wheel to control the volume on its left side, which I keep maxed out to be able to fully control the volume through my computer. It also has a 3.5 mm jack on the fromt to plug in some headphones and that is awesome. Note: this will NOT amplify the sound for the headphones, it is simply just a passthrough, so the speakers do not have to be on to send sound to your headphones if you plug them in there. Overall this is a very solid setup that I recomment to anyone who's looking for some quality speakers with good sound for cheap.

And they sound pretty good for what they are and the price
I just needed something to hook up to my computer while I game and listen to music. These are quite small, but they can produce sound plenty loud enough for me. I even turn it up so that my wife and I can listen throughout the house while doing chores. And they sound pretty good for what they are and the price. They plug straight into the speaker output on the back of your computer or I suppose you could plug these into your mobile device, but they do have to be powered through an AC power plug. Which, mine is just plugged into my power surge protector for my computer. The sub is nice to add just enough low end to the music and games/movies. I have the volume control placed under my computer monitor, which I find to be very convenient. You can plug headphones into this if you like. Although, unless you have cheap headphones, you're going to be better off plugging headphones directly into the computer for more power. I've had these for several weeks now and I really like it. I would buy again for sure.

Compared to Cyber Acoustics System CA-360
I purchased this Logitech system to replace a similar Cyber Acoustics system that finally became too problematic. Both systems have control pods which is what drew me to them. I really like the convenience of having the volume switch close at hand. The reason that I prefer this system to the Cyber Acoustics is that the speakers are compact and well balanced with the weight at the bottom. The Cyber Acoustic speakers were top heavy and easily got knocked over. I think the wiring was eventually knocked loose and the speakers malfunctioned as did the power control which continually turned itself on even when the pc was hibernating. The sound is good in both systems but I prefer this Logitech system simply because of the design of the speakers. Hopefully, the fact that they do not get tipped over as easily will mean that this system lasts longer than the Cyber Acoustics system.

By far your best bang for buck for a solid system without breaking the bank.
Packaging was great, delivery was fast and this System exceeded my expectations. I have owned many Logitech products before and have had several surround sound systems before. High end, middle tier and now lower end and lets just say this is just as good and even better than some of the $50-$75 price range imo. By far your best bang for buck for a solid system without breaking the bank. Update after a month of heavy duty use well its working as good as the day it was unboxed and the sound quality was confused to be of a higher make by a friend who dropped by (I keep the set out of sight) and he is a musician so that has to stand for something :) I'm very happy with my purchase and just wanted to let you know how this speaker is doing after a month of daily usage. My only wish was a better way to manage wires with out having to use 3rd party material BUT its not a huge deal nor a deal breaker I'm just ocd with that kind of thing. would buy again.

Fantastic!
They work surprisingly well! I thought for the price that they would be a little tinny and faded, but I was wrong. They were clear, and had booming bass. The highs and lows were quite clear, and the bass was excellent. I dont have to turn it to full volume either. I found that just turning them up a tad bit gives me all the sound I need. I had it on medium, and I hear them from downstairs! They also look great on my setup.

These speakers sound great and are an amazing value!
I just set up these speakers and had to write a review because they are such a good value. These speakers are amazing for the price. I was a little nervous about what I would get for $29. My other computers have Bose Companion speakers but I did not want to spend $100 on speakers for a laptop computer I keep in my hobby room just for occasional reference and background music. Keep in mind, I do not expect performance like I get from my primary stereo with big Klipsch Heresy speakers and a lot of power but for office or laptop speakers these are great. The sound is crisp and clear and I can hear little nuances that I expected to be muddy on these inexpensive speakers. I do not consider myself an audiophile but I do know what sounds good and these do. My sub-woofer is not boomy like some reviewers have mentioned. I put it right beside my 2nd monitor rather than on the floor and it sounds great. All components have long cords and the remote power/volume with headphone jack is a very nice feature that I put right above my mouse pad. Right now I am listening to some jazz guitar on Pandora and I can't believe how good it sounds. I set the volume on my laptop at 50% and use the remote to control my listening volume. At that setting it will play louder than I can get away with if my wife is home. At high volumes, the sound stays clear, the speakers do not buzz, the bass stays balanced and I do not hear any clipping on the high notes. I really can't believe that these speakers only cost $29. Neil Young's Southern Man just started playing and the snare is coming through very clean behind the piano and lead guitar. You usually get what you pay for these days but with these speakers you are getting a sound quality that would compare to speakers for 3 to 4 times the price. Granted every environment produces different sound. I have my speakers about 2 feet away from me to the left and the right on a built-in desk and a wall right behind them so I am probably getting some reflected sound. The subwoofer is sitting just inside the right speaker. For kicks, I just put on some vintage disco stuff on Pandora and the bass still sounds good and at the right level and the balance is good here too. I am not using any equalizer software and just plugged the input jack into my headphone jack and starting testing different types of songs. These speakers seem very versatile since they sound good on a broad range of genres that I tested. I don't write many reviews on Amazon but thought this one was worth my time to tell people about a great value. By the way, Let It Whip by Dazz Band still sounds good after all these years on these little speakers, the intro on BTO's Let It Ride still rocks and the Gypsy Kings guitars sound great too. I know, now I 'm really letting my age show. If you are on a tight budget or just don't want to spend more than you have to, these are a great option and I think you will be happy with them. My wife says the speakers are too loud and I have to come to bed now. Good night.

Low Volume Issues!? Read for insta-fix!
Low Volume Issues!? Read below for insta-fix! They are great speakers, however, they did not come with any instructions or pictures... I know what you may be thinking, "they are just speakers... Plug them in and listen" :) well I missed the Speaker Output on the rear of the subwoofer and instead plugged them into the headphone jack on the little corded remote. I was devastated when I could barely hear a song playing. I messed with Realtek settings and other various audio controls on my PC with little-to-no improvement. I had given up and was unplugging everything to send back(Let's be real... I was pissed!) This would've been the first Logitech item I had an issue with. Then I saw 'Speaker Output' there on the back of the subwoofer, I plugged it all back together and it was GLORIOUS! Low Volume Issues!? Read above for insta-fix!
