Completes the look with the bed rails. Covered up my dinged up tailgate. Fit good. Dodge didn't change the tailgate style on the 2500 until 2010. The 1500 changed in 09. Used a roll of 2 sided gorilla tape, just to be sure after the reviews

Fits and Works fine.

This tailgate cap fits my 2003 Dodge 3500 just fine. This is the third one that I have purchased. The first one in 2003 lasted until last year, it was damaged when I removed an item from the back of the truck with a fork lift. Otherwise it held up fine and kept its color. the second unit I purchased I added additional silicone glue in addition to the tape strips that come with it. It came off along the highway. The third one I have not mounted yet, but will clean the tailgate, remove the old adhesive and add additional 3M trim tape to hold this one down better.

Fit great on my 2007 Dodge 3500 Mega cab. I recommend adding some more double sided 3m tape though to make sure it doesn't come off.
