Love these Glasses

These glasses have exceeded our expectations. They have a very nice shape and allow the wine to breathe. At the same time, They are durable without seeming overly thick, and have done very well in the dishwasher. They are a great value for the money. I had no problem with breakage or poor packaging as stated by prior reviewers.

A Work of Art

I purchased these glasses to replace some glasses that I had recently broken. The glasses came inside a regular box for glasses, then wrapped inside bubble wrap and shipped together inside a larger amazon box filled with some shipping fillers to make sure nothing will break. Some of the glasses somehow found a way to break in shipping though and I was a little disappointed, but I reordered anyway. (I’m guessing the shipping company might have been a little to rough with it.) The reorders came in one piece and they are quite beautiful. These glasses are truly wonderfully made. They are just strong enough of a glass to make you feel confident that you won't actually break them but thin enough to be considered a real great set of wine glasses. The shape is perfect and the stem is an appropriate length that’s lets you hold it without warming up your precious wine. The shape is so very beautiful and they were great additions.

Great value Great glass

If you want a really nice glass for under $5 these fit the bill. The shape and weight is great and my favorite feature in a glass was present. That is a very thin rim. I assumed that was what I would get from a laser cut rim and I was not disappointed. The glass also gives a nice sustained ring from a flick of a finger. You could pay more and get more but this is a very nice glass at this price point and you won't cry if you break one

Great Glasses, Great Price

I am extremely pleased with these glasses. I use them for both red and white wine. Not as thin nor as delicate as Reidel, but much less expensive. This feels good in hand, is nicely balanced and look classy (enough). Great for the price.

Beautiful Restaurant Quality Crystal

I LOVE these wine glasses. I'm a sucker for 2 things in wine glasses: size and sound (stay with me on this one). i like a larger glass because i typically enjoy reds more than whites and i honestly just love the look of it. the sound bit it not really necessary, but there is such a pleasing note produced by 2 crystal glasses clinking together as opposed to glass ones, which to my ear is a little more of a crude clanking sound. anyway, durability is as to be expected with crystal, they're thinner and not as durable as glass; you could shatter one just cleaning it in the sink if you hand were to slip and it falls the 2 inches into the basin, so be careful. plus side, i find that the dishwasher cleans them very efficiently and they come out spotless which is always a pleasing sight. spotless crystal glasses... almost as pleasing as the sound. lol!

Pretty good wine glass

For the price, this is a good red wine glass. The shape is comfortable in the hand. Looks good with wine in it, and the bend in the profile is a pretty good fill point. The opening is a good size to breath in the aromas through nose and mouth. So overall, a good shape. The thickness is good for durability and comfort when drinking. I've had cheap ones that were way to thick. While it could be better, then I would expect to pay a bit more. The etching in the base is not ideal, but not very obvious.

Fantastic, simply beautiful, elegant

We all want the best wine glass for best value. SO Just buy these. QUALITY GLASSES. Cost 25% of Riedel. Arrived well packaged and intact. Lovely style, very comfortable in hand, shape is great for aroma, perfect size for red, white, or rose. Ordered 1 set for trial and I love them so much I'm ordering 2 more sets; at my breakage rate I'll probably need more. Those who rated 1 or 2 stars seem a little bogus compared to 72% 5 star and 12% 4 star. Choosy wife loves them too.

Elegant looking, crystal clear, great price

Great glasses at an excellent price. Bought during PRIME days so the deal was even better. They are elegant looking but the stems are thin and I wouldn't count on them surviving any impacts. Only a very slight mold ridge on a few of the stems otherwise they look and handle like fine crystal. And they even make that cool "glass harmonium" sound when you wet your finger and run it around the rim. :)

Great, respectable set for your casual, everyday wine

4 wine glasses with such clear glass and elegant shape for $18.58? That's great. If you're super picky, perhaps this won't be your crystal dining-with-royal-diplomats set, but this is certainly an elegant set for your go-to every day wine glass, your casual dinners, the wine glasses that you take in and out a lot. They held up pretty well in the dishwasher, and they came very well packaged (as per photo). They look beautiful. They measure exactly 8.5 inches in length (as per photo), and the opening is 2.5 inches.
