A Very Inexpensive Way To Let Baby Look at Special Photos
I bought this to help my 16 month old grandson learn the names of family and friends. He loves it and often passes over other toys to look at the pictures in it. His attention span is about 30 seconds or less, but he comes back to it again and again. I noticed that some reviewers commented on the photos getting ruined from drool or rough handling. This is the relatively easy method I used, and it has worked perfectly: I inserted the photo files in a Word document, sizing or cropping the image to the size needed to fit inside the plastic sleeves. Then, I printed the Word document on regular copy paper, cut out the photos and laminated each one, so his mom can easily wash them and the book. I made each sleeve the holder for two or three photos of the same person. One sleeve has five photos, making for a total of about 20 photos in this very inexpensive but very cute photo album. I'm ordering two more, one just for family photos and one just for photos taken by his parents, of animals, birds and fish. There is a small sleeve on the front, in the section with the title, "Who loves baby?", so I will put a small appropriate photo to help my grandson know the subject of each album. I'm not at all "crafty" but it came together easily (although it took me several hours to make it) and it turned out to be a very special surprise gift. When you think of the cost of making this little photo album, packaging it and marketing it, it's practically a give-away.

Was one of my daughters favorites baby toys! Had to get another for our second child.
This is our second copy of this book. We filled one with pictures of family members when my oldest daughter was a baby and she LOVED looking through the pictures and naming the people in the book. So when it came time to have our second daughter we decided it was time to make another one. (I actually took pictures and photoshopped names on top of the images before printing them out so it had some text as well as the images.) The plastic is nice too because the pictures all slide in from the inside edge so you don't have to worry about baby drool from the edges leaking in and ruining the pictures. I definitely recommend this book for infants and as a baby shower gift.

We were looking for something just like this little book to put family pictures in for ...
We were looking for something just like this little book to put family pictures in for my granddaughter. She is 18 months old, but I think you could use this for a much younger child (6mos and older). The book is made from soft plastic and the clear plastic pockets that you slide the pictures into seem to hold and keep the pictures from sliding out. Actually, it holds the pictures so well that my granddaughter can not take them out, which is really nice because it keeps the pictures in super nice condition. I think the photo book holds 6 pictures total. My granddaughter loves to carry her book around and show you her family.

This book you will own for a lifetime!
This was my favorite thing to own as a mother, and a wonderful gift for a new parent. Who doesn't want the baby to grow up recognizing and enjoying pictures of their family? It's an excellent toddler book and my son and I read it every night. I have purchased and given dozens of these with many folks thanking me over and over again - years later. At 17 my son still remembers the book and when he's helping me wrap shower gifts, it makes him smile.

Perfect except for capacity
My 1 yo loves gazing at the faces in this book. The pages are thick enough that she can easily turn them and she enjoys carrying this book by the handle. The pages have high contrast black and white backgrounds in case your photos don't take up the whole space, and the plastic is thick enough to protect photos from sticky fingers and light spills. I like that the pockets are deep enough that the "baby"/toddler can't remove the photos. I wish it had more pages since we wanted all of our family members in it, but we just printed smaller photos and put them in own compartment and used collage photos. Our local preschool recommends a book like this to bring along to school, and hers is the most child-friendly.

Great gift for baby!
I bought one for my son and just ordered this one for my upcoming baby! My son loved chewing on the handle when teething. He also liked flipping through the colorful pages and looking at pictures of all the people who love him! This makes a great gift for your own baby or a really cute shower gift. Tip: The book fits 4x6 pictures but I trimmed mine down just a little to make sure they were fully protected behind the plastic covering (they stick out about 1/4 of an inch or so).

Great Gift for Baby Showers, Birthdays, Holidays.
I've purchased MANY of these Sassy Look Photo Books. They're a hit with parents as well as with the intended recipients, their babies and toddlers. Pros: *Small, light gift. Good as a "filler" if you're shipping other things, or as stocking stuffers, or "just because" or if you want to ship something small in an envelope or those small Priority Mail Boxes. *It's floppy and soft. Good for small, uncoordinated hands. *It's plastic. Adults can wipe it clean with a baby wipe. *It's colorful and can hold a kid's attention for a while. *You can put PHOTOS in it! I like to give these with photos of relatives who live farther away and might not be able to visit as much, or photos of people with basic words like "Mom" or "Dad" written on them. *I like to keep one special one hidden and I use the power of its novelty when I need my son or nephew to be quiet for a few minutes, like if I'm paying for a purchase or signing paperwork at an office. Cons: *It's small, light, and might have photos in it, so don't put personal info in it because it's as easy to lose on a walk or at a restaurant as other baby toys. *It's not water-proof. I wouldn't use it in the bath.

doesn't smell like some plastics
I haven't put photos in it yet. I bought it for my granddaughter's first birthday in August. The book is put together decently, doesn't smell like some plastics, and is perfect for what I want - a photo album that she can plan with and chew on without harm but which mommy can show her that's grandma who loves you, and that's the other grandma, and great grandma, and grandpa, and uncle J... and they all love you. On the front is a smaller slot where I will put a picture of her so she can see it's her book. The pages are colorful and behind each picture is a different pattern, such as black and white stripes. It's perfect for what I want. I can't comment yet on whether any of the issues that others have listed, such as photos coming out, will be a problem. But from all appearances, I really like it.

Perfect gift for mom and baby
I got this for my niece- she is 6 months and starting to recognize us all in the family more and more. My husband and I along with some other family members don't see her often so I thought this was a perfect way for her to learn faces and names as she grows. Obviously it's not a water proof book but it is relatively drool, chew, and spill proof... and even if the photos ever get a little wet it is as easy as replacing them. if you stick a photo in it, you might have to trim the edge, but who even cares. I wouldn't knock stars off because of that. get some scissors and get over it- it's a $6 plastic baby book!

Decent for the price
I bought a more expensive cloth baby photo book for my one-year-old closer to when she was around 6 months old. I think I paid around $13. This one that I bought in this listing will do the exact same job for a lot cheaper. They're babies. They will stain things and wreck things. So to me it doesn't pay to get the cloth one versus the plastic one. The point is, it's an awesome toy / photo books for babies to look at and personally my little one loves them. She can point out all of our family members and it is the first book that she goes for in her bin of soft books.
