These boxes were great for moving. I just moved into a new condo a month ago and this was a "two part" move. I moved from my apartment complex into a temporary place while my condo was being built and then moved into my condo when it was complete. What I really liked about these boxes is not having to tape them shut! They also break down for easy storage. Once I was done with my moves I gave them to someone else who used them and they are still in good enough shape to use again. Great product and buy. Worth the price.

Tape is the ENEMY of moving -- get these origami boxes instead!

I'll never buy regular boxes that need to be taped again. What's the big deal about tape right? Turns out when you're moving, you can make a whole SNL skit about packing tape problems! * you can't pick up the edge b/c you bit off all your nails or bought the cheapie kind where the edge isnt visible * you really double dipped on the cheapie tape and it's splinters halfway * now you have to chase that splintered edge to make a whole piece * you can't find the pen/key/scissor you were going to cut the tape w/ * you found the knife and now can't remember where you laid the roll of tape * you just taped up your box, and you can't remember what was in there * you just spent all your energy taping and have lost all will to pack anymore * you can't find your floor after moving, and now there's wads of crumpled tape everywhere ok, maybe i'm just crazy and am the only one who has these problems. but if you're a fellow cuckoo, get these boxes. no more tape!

Fast deliver and the bundles of boxes were well packaged. These are the best boxes I could find and they are very sturdy, as advertised. The final fold of the handle-flap causes the handle to have multiple layers of cardboard which makes the boxes easier to heft. I'm a little picky and I'm moving 2200 miles so I used scavenged cardboard to cut bottom-inserts for every size Banker Box I'm using. For densely packed books and photo albums the small boxes work great. The mediums are great for larger bubble-wrapped items. The large boxes are configured LENGTHWISE - something to keep in mind when you plan what you will pack in the larger boxes. For heavier items I'm cutting 1/4" plywood bottom-inserts. Bottom line? I bought some Bankers Box BASIC which do not have handles, and I would not recommend them if you are moving cross-country - they are a light-duty box which would be okay to move across town, but would probably be a disaster after moving company employees bounce them around. Love the quality of the Tape-Free Bankers Boxes.

A little on the expensive side but so worth it. We just packed up our home and I'm still having flashbacks of putting together hundreds of conventional boxes with rolls of screeching tape that make nails on a chalkboard child's play. (For those of you too young to know what a chalkboard is and the effect of fingernails on same, ask your parents or grandparents) Number one, these boxes are much stronger than conventional boxes and can be stacked higher without collapsing. They fold into shape quickly with the bottom being much more secure than the taped variety and they close just as quickly with flaps that tuck into handholds on the side. The flaps not only hold the box closed but offer handholds for easy lifting and carrying. Brilliant. Plus, they unfold just as easily and are reusable. We had to depose of all are conventional taped boxes but these are still in perfect shape, so we are saving them all for use by relatives or friends. I don't wish moving on anyone, but if you need boxes, these are worth the money.

Very convenient to use

These are AMAZING for moving. They're super easy to put together, just unfold, pack, close and tuck. You can tape the top if you want, but its not necessary. They're my perfect size to hold and move things, and even packing them full does not make them too heavy. And even when packing one completely with books, the box didnt fall apart. Nice and sturdy and they made packing much faster without worrying about box assembly. Yes they're a bit pricey for this convenience, but I like that convenience

Excellent, easy to use

I feel strange writing a review of moving boxes, but these are the best. We recently moved, and I was really impressed by the quality of these boxes. They are easy to set up, and don't require any tape at all. We used the small boxes to pack books and dishes, the medium boxes to pack random housewares, and the large ones for bedding and other lighter items. They are absolutely worth the cost. They are also easy to break down and reassemble, so they are reuseable.

Perfect for Tax archives

Over the years I've tried various boxes to store my tax paperwork. I probably save more than the typical American, but I needed a box that would hold up, wasn't too big. I also hate boxes with removable lids. The lids come off, get lost, have to be taped, the tape leaves a mess and doesn't always hold long term. These are just what I needed. I can store two years a time in them and I consider that the right size. They are sturdy, and the lid doesn't come off, while closing things in securely. Many other uses of course.

I'm the kind of person who does a ton of research to get the best possible item at the lowest price on pretty much everything I buy. As someone who has used free boxes off of craigslist for the past 7 very frustrating moves, I decided there must be a better way. My research leads me to bankers boxes and I swear to god they are worth every penny.

The design is great. So easy to set up. Just open and push down the flap inside and it is done. The box is sturdy and made in the USA.

These Boxes Are The Best!

I will never go back to using the old school tape and put together boxes. These were easy to assemble, quick to pack, sturdy and easy to carry. All movers should use these. No tape required.
