The crux of this simple device is twofold: a cover over the bathtub faucet to prevent bumps (plastic is hard, but not as hard as the metal faucet), and a silicone piece directly underneath the faucet opening to deflect water horizontally. This is a godesend, especially for the way we bathe our baby. We used to use a tub, but he didn't really like being submerged, and his skin would get eczema when we did that. We started using the shower wand but he didn't like that, probably because the flow was too strong. This is perfect. The redirect horizontal flow of water is a solid wide gush, but not overly powerful. This is great for after shampooing his hair and holding him horizontally face up with the top of his head in front of the gush to rinse off the suds; and for lifting him vertically by the armpits and holding his body in front of the gush to wash his front and back.

It’s functional, safe and has multipurpose qualities. I don’t understand what the issue is with other Amazonians Complaining about mildew or mold. I bleach my bathtubs once a week and that’s including this little gadget. It rinses w complaining about mildew or mold. I bleach my bathtubs once a week and that’s including this little gadget. It runs as well And the whole family loves it! I bleach weekly because my child likes to play with a lot of toys and the anti-slip mat naturally becomes slimy underneath just after a couple uses. So I just bleached everything and then rinse well.

I purchased this June 2016 for my daughter. It’s October 2018 and I just had to throw it away and buy a new one. To me that was certainly worth the $12 I paid for it. It works, makes it easier to wash the kids’ hair, makes a good waterfall for bubble bath and protects the kids heads from hitting the faucet. Set you expectations though, like anything else that gets wet on a daily basis if it doesn’t dry it gets moldy and gross. We took it off after every use and set it on the edge of the tub to dry. I think we filled it with soap like twice (just easier to pour it in the tub). So, off I go to buy a new one.

Bought this so I could fill up the little bathtub for my infant. Before I was constantly cupping my hands around the faucet to get the water to land in the infant tub. Haven't used the button for the bubble bath yet, but she's still too young to use bubbles anyway. So far I'm loving it! *** UPDATE 3/9/2019 *** Eight months have gone by and my little one has turned a year. Boon water deflector has been so useful since my little one can finally stand and sit in the tub. Easy to install, use, & clean. Despite the negative comments, like anything else; this should be cleaned regularly or at least monthly to prevent mold. I soak it in vinegar overnight to clean it and it's like new again. There is a little bit of rusting on & around the metal springs inside the unit but nothing that cola soda can't fix. This product is still working and going strong. I've used the bubble dispenser and it does start to leak. Honestly, it doesn't bother me because I just pour the liquid bubble soap while the water is running. Overall, I feel like this has been the best product out there on the market and has exceeded expectations.

I have a pet that will bathe in my tub, but needs me to cup the water to make a waterfall for it while it does that. This gadget just saved my hand and freed me up to do whatever while my pet gets his bath. For anyone that needs to know, I have a slightly oversized, hidden-diverter, spout that is round. It's not the standard, square-ish, pull-up, spout. It looks like I've maxed out the spread, but it works. Well worth giving it a try. So glad I got this thing. It will make this small part of my life much easier to enjoy.

My grandson kept hitting his head on the spout as he likes to play in the bath. He loves the way the water comes out of this, it's like his own little fountain. It's very easy to put on and take off so not everyone has to use it. I love that it dispenses bubble bath as well, which mixes with the water and creates bubbles pretty easily.

***Update*** I've had this for almost 2 years. Has not molded. I was paranoid about it molding at first, so I would try it after every bath and spray it with alcohol. But after a while I got lazy and would just take it off the faucet, give it a few shakes to get the water out and leave it out to air dry. Still no mold problems at all. I do believe it may be because I don't use the soap/bubble dispenser. I've never had the issue of it falling off the faucet because my kids don't touch or mess with it during bath time. I do not have the shower knob on my faucet. It can come off easily if my kids were to pull it off. It does have a small crack on the green part because I accidentally dropped it, but works absolutely fine. Great for washing kid's hair. All they have to do is lean back. Also creates a nice arc of water to churn water when I put bubble bath in the tub. I would recommend this to my friends and family. Still using this product with no issues or problems.

Works as indicated. If you do not push it far enough back when you put it on the faucet it will leak out of the back so just make sure you adjust it properly and it will not come out of the back of the spout. Obviously if this is left in a moist condition it will grow mildew as will most things so with proper cleaning this won't be a problem. Our 1 year old daughter LOVES playing in the tub now. She has her own personal waterfall. Definitely worth the money.

I really like this faucet cover! My I can bathe my son without worrying he'll injure himself. The only thing j don't like about it is my faucet is kind of bulky, so I had to open the cover all the way to get it to fix. It kind of feels like it'll only last so long before it breaks because of how tight of a fit it is. But we'll see, I suppose. This was the only option for me. Couldn't find another faucet cover that would fit because my faucet has a divider in the front. I definitely like this product and will recommend to anyone else. I love the bubble dispenser idea, but seems kind of pointless because you can just pour the bubbles manually. Takes a while to dispense. I hope when my son gets older, he'll lean back and be able to rinse his own hair. That would be helpful. :)

i saw this online and i knew i had to have it. i mean, it turns your tub into a waterfall! who wouldn't want it? Now, i put it on my tub, and i will admit, my faucet is a bit...odd. and i can say that it does not fit perfectly, but, it still works. and in fact, it works awesomely. You can put bubblebath or shower gel in the top and voila, bubbles! I am so in love with my water deflector, i bought two as gifts. And both users adore them (one may be three years old though, so his opinion is a bit biased). Another user mentioned something about mold growing on theirs. I have had mine for about a year now, and no mold at all. I don't keep mine on the facuet at all time, only when i am taking a bath, but i haven't seen a spot of mold (and i do store it in the bathroom when not in use). I can not say this enough, this product is AMAZING! and it turns your tub into a waterfall! who doesn't love a waterfall?!?!
