I just don’t understand the negative reviews about this product. In the two weeks I have owned this I have baked Cornish Pasties at 400 degrees, hand pies at 325 degrees, and roasted potatoes at 425 degrees... and everything worked perfectly. I could not be happier with this purchase. Nothing sticks, everything browns as it should, and it cleans up like a charm.

A must have for healthy cooks

I adore these silpat baking sheets! They are one of the items that I consider essential in my kitchen. I am a nutritionist and also recommend them to nearly every client that I work with as they help reduce the use of oil when baking and cooking. I use them for roasting vegetables and for baking cookies too. In fact, I have one on every single cookie sheet in my drawer. I consider them part of the cookie sheet and don't ever cook without one. I have used my silpat hundreds of times and only recently am having to replace one after a grease fire happened in the oven. Oops!

Love love LOVE this product. Everyone is envious of my beautiful baking mats and they are AMAZING. I have had them for 4 years and use them at least once a week, if not more, and they are still in just as good of a condition as they were when they arrived. They have no stains, clean up easily, and make everything bake perfectly. I make cookies, baked potato fries, and oven roasted veggies of all kinds on them. Highly recommend! p.s. Make sure you have the right size baking sheets to use them. :)

Revolutionary MUST HAVE item

If you do a lot of cooking and baking but don't have a silicone baking mat- it's time to order one and look no further than this! It's made in France with high quality materials, so you don't need to worry about sketchy materials like some products from China. NOTHING will stick to this mat, it's truly glorious! I used to have immense difficulty with making buffalo cauliflower and cookies because I would always run out of parchment paper, but with this all you have to do is give it a quick wash and it's ready to go in under a minute! The product practically pays for itself after a while of owning it because you don't have to purchase all of that excess parchment paper, and for someone who is concerned about their environmental footprint it's like a dream come true.

Fits my professional baking sheets perfectly.

Love this!!!!! It fits perfectly into my professional baking sheets. They don't fit into my Oneida nonstick baking sheets. By professional, I mean the pans that I buy from my local restaurant supply for $6.99 each. I have had a horrible time trying to find nonstick baking sheets that don't warp. I love my professional sheets because they don't warp and clean up beautifully. However, everything sticks and it takes quite a bit of scrubbing to clean off all the stuck on stuff. This was my last ditch effort to find a solution. Now that I know that these work and that they fit my favorite pans, I will be ordering a second one. I have so far used this to bake chicken, roast broccoli, roast potatoes and bake cookies. My pan stayed clean, the food didn't stick at all and clean up with soapy water and a kitchen sponge was quick. First photo shows it in a professional pan from my local restaurant supply. How have I lived without this?

I got my first silpat mat at an estate sale. I had not been willing to invest $25 in one before that. I loved it so much, and would bake only using that one mat, until my husband took note and bought me another. Food just slides off this thing. I use it for all the linings of my pans. No need to buy parchment any more. I have not broiled with it, not sure I would take that chance. They clean up really well, need to use Dawn dish soap to remove the grease, but man do I LOVE these mats! You will not regret buying, well worth the money!

High quality that makes clean up a breeze

I just bought two Silpat baking mats already have been approved by my children who like to bake a lot. They made cookies on them that came out perfectly. The mats fit exactly on my baking sheets and clean up is a breeze. We just needed to wipe the mats and the baking sheets with a damp cloth and we were done. The baking mats were recommended by Cook's Country who regularly test cooking gear. I chose this brand based on their recommendations and I am glad I did. When you buy these mats, make sure to measure your baking pans first and order the correct size for you.

Silpat Mat For Granola

This mat is great when I cook granola at 350 degrees but when I used it to cook bbq pork ribs in the oven at 400 degree the sauce seemed to do something odd to the mat and after that cooking session the mat had what almost looked like char marks on the mat. I only use it to cook granola now. But it works well for that I bought another one since I now make double batch of granola. It’s easy to clean with Dawn.

Does what it promises.

I thought it was all BS but this worked! Laid frozen chicken wings all over it. Put in oven for about an hour. Goo was everywhere. The only thing remaining after spraying with the sink sprayer is yellowing from Tumeric. I bet I could get that out but don't want to damage the surface. Fits in the recommended Norse--something tray perfectly.

Perfect fit

Love the Silpat. The 8 x 11 apx. fits perfectly in the Nordic ware quarter sheet.. and then all fits perfectly in Breville countertop convection oven.
