Birkenstock Mayari Habana Leather
I’ve had a pair of Birkenstock Mayari’s for approximately 10 years. I’ve worn many different Birkenstock styles since 1992. When I ordered my first replacement pair of Mayari’s, I ordered from a company through Amazon and I received FAKE Birkenstocks. I immediately returned them. I took another chance ordering from another company through Amazon (What’s Hot). I received my Birkenstock Mayari’s today - and they’re perfect (Not Fake)! As far as Birkenstocks go, I wear either a size 36 or a 37. I’m a size 7, but depending on the style of Birkenstock, I wear different sizes. Birkenstocks should not be too small or too large. My best advice is to research the style you like and find out if you need to order your true size or possibly go up or down a size. God bless!

Great pair of Birks!
Although I have only had these Birks for a couple of days, I wanted to write a review of my experience with them so far... I ordered the Black Birko-flor Mayari’s from the vendor Track Star which are fulfilled by Amazon and they are authentic Birkenstocks, definitely not fake. Not only did I review how to tell the difference between fake and real Birkenstocks, I already own three pairs of Birks, and the box, tags, footbed, sole, buckles, etc. are consistent. I also have read lots of reviews from buyers who purchased from the vendor What’s Hot and they seem to be authentic as well. My recommendation is that if you’re worried about the shoes being authentic to read the reviews based on the specific seller. My normal size in Birkenstock is a 39 (8.5-9us) and these fit perfectly. I hardly had any break-in time, and was able to wear them right out of the box with no pain from the straps or the footbed. I spent all day in them yesterday on a long road trip, and they help up well on small hikes through a desert as well as a short hike through a meadow to a hot spring (I did get them wet, and they did not get funky). However, I have only owned them for a few days, and I am worried that they will meet their demise in a few months like other reviewers, but hopefully that won’t happen, because I love them, like absolutely love them. I generally prefer a leather upper, but I don’t mind the fleece lined Birko-flor, I actually think they may hold up to my lifestyle better, plus they’re more affordable than the all leather Birks. Hopefully this helps inform your decision, and if anything changes I will be sure to update this review.

Best sandals ever
Out with the old, in with the new! Replacing the pair of birks I've had since 8th grade (9 years!) Invest in your feet!

These shoes could be addicting!
My first pair of Birkenstocks! I don't want to take them off. I've tried on other people's (who were my shoe size) but since they mold to your foot, there's nothing like having your own pair to wear in. I loved the mayari style so I was really happy to find them for such a great price, and in the color I wanted! The only thing I was worried about was pain and rubbing around the big toe, where the two straps cross. I don't think it's going to be a problem though. It's the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! Both the soles and straps are incredibly soft and the sole support feels perfect. I would go bare foot every day if I could, and so I really think this is the next best thing. I feel sad coming home at night cause I have to take them off and put on my fuzzy house slippers! I got the size 39, I typically wear a 9,but can sometimes get away with an 8.5. theres about 1 cm of extra space in the footbed,so I wonder if a 38 would be better next time, however there's no way I'd return these for fit - I'm just so happy with them. ...And a little worried I'm going to develop a very expensive Birkenstock habit! As a side note on the seller/shipper, while the shoes were in perfect condition, the box was in tatters, probably the reason they were selling a bit cheaper? Anyway, it didn't come across as very professional but there was no problem with the actual product.

LOVE
I love these Birkenstocks! This is my 5th pair... I just can't get enough of the comfort and support from Birkenstock sandals. I initially thought the piece between the toe would be irritating, but the fabric is soft and smooth, and is similar to the feeling of a regular flip flop between the toes. I am a true size 8 and I wear a 38 in Birks. The lace color is great, it is season friendly and can be easily wiped clean!

Very cute style, super comfortable
What's not to love about Birkenstocks? I got the oiled leather and I absolutely love them. I usually wear a size 7, but I get a 6 (EU37) in Birkenstocks because they seem to run a little big on me. It's not so much the length of the shoe as it is the straps. I feel like I can't get them quite tight enough in a 7 (I have narrow feet and evidently not very thick either). Also, since they are leather, the straps will stretch slightly over time. As with all Birkenstocks, there's a slight break-in period, but the stiffness doesn't last long at all, in my opinion. It's worth noting that the toe strap is not adjustable, and gets bigger as you go up in size. I tried a 7 (EU38) and the toe strap seemed much looser than the 6. Take good care of your Birks and they'll last you a lifetime. My first pair is 23 years old and still going strong.

Leather straps are the way to go!
I absolutely love these shoes. I had gone back and forth about getting a pair for about a year until I finally decided to do it, and I am so glad that I did!! I walked the entire freedom trail in Boston during the summer in these, and had no rubs or blisters, and the bottoms of my feet weren’t sore at the end of the day or the next morning. I didnt need to break them in either. My arches felt a little sore after the first 2 times that I wore them, but never any rubs or redness. I’m really glad that I got the real leather straps, personally. I think that that they look much better in person, and since they don’t have the fuzzy, felt like surface on the underside (skin side) of the straps like the other material, I don’t think they absorb sweat, which makes me feel like they are cleaner. I wore them pretty much every day of the summer and they still look great.

love them
Fit as expected, but after a lot of prior research and going into a store to try on the brand, I ordered down in size. I usually wear a 7-7.5 in casual and dress shoes, 8 in running shoes and I got a 37. Oddly, this color and style seemed really hard to get, it was going to take a month to order from the warehouse and I couldn't return them, so I turned to Amazon. As expected with Birkenstocks, they took a couple semi-painful weeks to break in, but they feel awesome now. I never planned on wearing the brand, but this style drew me in. I love them as much as they day I ordered them. They go with everything. After ordering I panicked because I found out the majority of Amazon ones are knock offs. But I did some more online research and compared the details, and I'm certain they're real or a really amazing fake that someone did way too much work to copy. Thankfully this is Prime so there's no risk in seeing what you get, but unfortunately there's no guarantee that every shoe in the lot will be genuine. Good luck!

Great Sandals. Super cute
These sandals came in an original Birkenstock’s Box with the tag. A lot of people said they were not real, but they look and feel real to me. Super cute and comfortable.

I Finally Gave In
I've been trash-talking birkenstocks for years. After a long conversation with a friend who dared me to even try them on, I did so. For someone with super high arches like myself, sandals are just not comfortable (that doesn't mean I don't wear them), and wearing sandals for long periods results in serious back, hip, and knee pain. Trying on birkenstocks for the first time was like putting on my orthopedic high-arch shoes. I decided to buy a pair, and I haven't worn another pair of shoes since I got them. Walking the dog? Birks. Getting the mail? Birks. Going to work? Birks.
