I use this product on my 4 year old to give him a more styled look from time to time. I think this is the perfect product because it holds his hair to the side without looking like it has product in it. You only need a tiny little bit. I would prefer something that wasn't scented, but overall the scent isn't too bad.

This stuff holds my hair together better than Luke Skywalker held the galaxy together.

I have VERY thick hair. I would compare the thickness to the tension during the Cold War. I have to make friends with all my barbers just so they'll continue to deal with the mop on my head. Fortunately when trying this product I think I found my new go to. I used to use cream but it seemed to break down to felt too greasy I used to use firm hold pomade but don't care for the glossy look and the fact I needed to use hair spray and let it dry to keep a longer hold. I used a clay type of product for men that was nice but pricey. I used to use a paste that didn't have a lasting hold and felt way too greasy. This wax is just what I needed. Low gloss, high hold, and doesn't look or feel atrocious in the hair.

It is a good wax that was recommended by my friend. **Does it leave traces? No, It does not leave white traces ** How much do you need per use? A pea-size amount is enough to fix hairs ** How long does it last? It lasts the whole day ** Does it smell good? Too strong? To offensive? It smells very pleasant, but yet not too strong or offensive. Light and decent scent. ** How strong is the fixations? It handles strong wind and humid climate very well (see previous point), I live in Texas ** Will you buy it again? Yes. I will buy it again, no doubts.

Great for women with short hair too!

I'm a woman and use this for my faux hawk. I'm constantly trying new pastes, creams and pomades trying to find something that holds, doesn't flake, doesn't get to crunchy, isn't too heavy etc. I find the men's products seem to work better for what I'm looking for. Before this I used j. crew fiber paste which is a lot more expensive and I like this one better. I can use it both before blow drying and after and to spruce it up during the day.

Haven't used a hair product in almost 30 years

I haven't used product in my hair since the Aqua Net days of the '80s. Back then, hair product for men consisted of gel, mousse, or hair spray. They all had one thing in common. They provided hold by making hair stick together, and the result was that it was very difficult to style. This stuff has one large advantage. It actually coats each individual hair to make it manageable. While I find it to be somewhat messy, I am constantly amazed at how my hair does exactly what I want it to when I use it. It takes some getting used to, though, simply because I'm not used to having my hair behave exactly how I want. My interpretation of this product is that it is for styling and not necessary for hold. I use it in conjunction with hair spray to get my desired effect. I have found that when I want a lot of body, which is my normal shtick, applying when my hair is wet and then using a blow dryer produces outstanding results. I start with a very small amount (too little is better than too much), and work my hair back. Then, I comb forward as I'm blow drying, and I style once my hair is dry. If I want my hair to lie flat, like if I'm going to a formal event, I will apply when my hair is wet and then comb forward/style without using the blow dryer. I recommend giving this product more than one try. My first couple of applications were just plain wrong. I put way too much in the first time and needed to rewash my hair immediately. I still put too much in the second time, but on try number three, I think I had the amount down. It still took a couple of more applications to really master doing what I wanted to do to my hair, but after using it for a few weeks, I feel like an old pro. It takes longer for me to take out the blow dryer and plug it in than it actually takes me to style my hair, and that is a win.

A great hair product... regardless of price!

I'm writing this review as a novice... I've never been a pomade user. I've been a life long, long haired guy. After a few decades of long locks I started contemplating cutting it off... but I was always afraid of my hair not looking cool once it was short (even though, by many standards, my long hair was no longer cool)... I finally found a well received barber and had him chop it all off... He gave me an exceptional hair cut... But it lacked that "cool" kinda thing... he said, "you're going to want to get a light pomade... matte... a little dab, rub it on your finger tips and quickly work it through your hair... that will complete what I've done" So, as always, I came to Amazon to look for the people's favorite... ordered this... and I couldn't be more happy... I got it right on the first try... my hair is awesome. No need to shop around or try other products. I've gotten more compliments on my hair than I have in a loooooong time... so happy. Great product.

Great for women too!

I'm a woman with short hair and I love this product! I rub a quarter sized amount between my hands and then vigorously rub it into my hair. It gives me a perfectly imperfect messy look. It doesn't get oily looking and it doesn't go limp even in the summer heat!

Great Product, Just as Discribed!

Bought this for my son who is very picky about hair products, after much research he chose TIGI Bed Head. He says it works exactly as he had hoped. It has a nice matte finish, you can't even tell he has product in his hair. It holds all day and has a good smell to it. You Also do not need to use much of it at a time. Amazon has it MUCH cheaper than Walmart which is another plus, the can arrived a bit dented but the wax inside was untouched. Will definitely be buying this again.

Love this product. Been using it for years

I have dark thick course black hair and this product helps a lot with forming my hair every morning. I use it with a comb and there's no issues with using it when my hair is wet or dry. I recommend using it with water and then blow drying your hair for the best look but if you don't dry your hair it will leave that wet gel look. It smells great but if you use too much it will leave white flakes.

Very good hair product for comb-overs!

I was looking for an alternative solution to using hair gel so I purchased Old Spice Pomade and TIGI Bed Head in July 2016. I have Asian hair with a comb-over style cut, so I needed hair product that can give me a good hold, matte finish and doesn't flake. The Old Spice pomade didn't really do it for me as it wouldn't keep my hair in shape through out the day, then I switched to TIGI Bed Head - I've been using it almost every day until now and I'm just purchasing my second tub. TIGI Wax hits all the check-boxes for my needs: > Matte finish > No flakes > Holds through out the day, even holds during my workout sessions at the gym + running > Washes away easily after a shower + shampoo All it takes is a pinch of this stuff, rub your hands together with a little bit of water to get a nice lather going, then with your hair wet run your hands through and comb/style as necessary! Added some pictures for you guys out there to see what it looks like after my process. I definitely recommend wetting your hair a little bit before applying, especially if you're going for a sleek, matte finished look! Never going back to hair gel or pomade, this stuff is the real deal!
