Only Genuine Brother parts for me
The one thing I learned while doing research for my SE-400 was to only use Genuine Brother parts, including these bobbins. Using the wrong bobbins, especially the ones that say "Will work in all Brother machines" reminds me of the old saying "Interchangeable parts won't". There really is a difference when it comes to correct tension and not ruining the bobbin case. These were a little more expensive than the Bargain Bin type, but for the sake of my machine working correctly, the price still made these a good purchase. So, for the sake of your Brother machine, make it a practice to do the same with other accessories and presser feet.

Got a Brother? You need these because Brother uses a different size bobbin.
Brother bobbins are not the same size as everyone else's. Dratted things. I bought these and they are perfect. I have to keep them separate, because I have more than one machine, but I can wind up five for a project and no need to make more. Which I detest. I probably will buy several more sets to have wound up in the colors I use most often.

Correct Size for My Machine
These Brother bobbins work great and are durable. I hate that every machine and brand takes a different bobbin, but it is what it is. Brother accessories definitely do work better w Brother Products than generic.

Finally, the prefect bobbins!
I struggled with finding these model bobbins in Joanns for years. They kept telling me a certain universal brand would work, but when I went to use them, bobbin issues would abound. It was annoying to the point that I thought I needed a new machine. It wasn't until I was looking for singer bobbins that the sales lady leveled with me. She asked me what bobbins I was looking for, I said ones for a singer, and she said, "good, we don't carry any other type." I order these when I got home, tested them out when they arrived, and promptly returned the singer to Joanns once I realized my bobbin issues were a thing of the past. TL;DR: These revived my nearly 10 year old ce-4000 and let me avoid a costly mistake!

Brother ones are better than generic! Good buy!
I ordered these bobbins due to needing a lot more after buying a new machine. I didn't realize that the generic ones screw up your thread tension. I learned this the hard way. Mine arrived just like the picture and have a tiny b on them if you look very closely. I would never buy the cheap ones again!

It Matters
Listen, when your sewing machine manual tells you to only use one kind, pay attention. I bought some that I thought looked exactly the same as the ones that came with my machine (Brother LS590), but right from the start I had tension issues. So I ordered a set of these and my tension problems cleared right up. So IT REALLY MATTERS. Just because other bobbins are plastic and look to be about the same size, doesn't mean they will work properly with your machine. I don't know exactly what it is that makes a difference, I just know that it does. And this 10 pack is cheap enough that there's no good reason for not keeping extras on hand. If you aren't sure, you can probably find an e-version of your manual on-line. Brother has them on their website. This model, the SA156, will work with many differen Brother machines, as you will note if you look it up here.

Perfect for the Brother CS6000i sewing machine
I bought these bobbins for my Brother CS6000i sewing machine, and they work perfectly with this machine both for loading them and in use. I like having multiple bobbins available since I can keep some of the loaded with the thread colors that I use most. It also save on wasting thread when you have to change to a different color. So far, I have had absolutely no problems with these bobbins for my sewing machine.

Work super. Check manual b4 buying. Fits only certain machines
Be careful what machine you use thes with. I would not give as gift unless your brother machine specifically uses this model like mine does. They work perfectly but they are slightly smaller as machine needs so look at manual b4 buying. Never had problem with them ever.

The perfect fit for my project runway machine!
I have a Brother project runway CE1100prw which a friend gifted to me after she found sewing was not her thing haha. Sadly she had lost all the bobbins so I went down to the sewing store and they gave me the wrong dang bobbins (not these). I used them for quite awhile and though they got projects done they were always wobbling and noisy, and knotted the thread on occasion. I thought I just didn't have a great sewing machine. Then came the day I decided to buy some more and found out I was using the wrong ones! And in ships these. They seem to be very good quality, and work well. Wound thread nicely, and fits/works perfectly in my sewing machine. It's like I bought a new one! Very glad I decided to get these

A fantastic bobbin that gives a smooth sewing experience every time.
I use these bobbins in my PE770 embroidery machine and in my normal brother sewing machine. These are a class 15 bobbin and work wonderfully in both of my machines. I love that it's a 10 pack, this way I have 2 bobbins wound with my embroidery thread and the balance I use for various colors on my main sewing machine. I always feel it's best to use the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) bobbins, as they give the best performance, in my opinion. They wind smooth and beautifully. They are clear, so it's easy to gauge when you are close to running out of thread. Easy to load, I always remember the saying my home ec. teacher told me ..."Over the Waterfall and to the Left" Pros: OEM Product - equates to a perfect fit every time Spare Bobbins for larger projects or a color assortment Clear - so you can see through the deck as to how much thread is left on your bobbin Easy to load both thread and into the machine to sew Cons: None that I have found. Overall these are exactly what I expected. A fantastic bobbin that gives a smooth sewing experience every time. I highly recommend these bobbins!
