Love my portable table
I love this table and take it to classes to use with my bernina and add the small plastic table to fill the surrounding area. It’s is sturdy, no shaking, I will have a friend make an acrylic. Table to fit perfectly to my machine and table but works well with just the small one that came with my machine. If I had a wish I would wish that it was just a little lighter for carrying to class but I do it all the time and it’s not too bad. Worth it to not get a backache from sewing with my machine too high up on the other tables. I use it at home too.

My third Gidget sewing table!
This is my third Gidget sewing table. The other two are for bigger machines and stay out in my sewing room all the time. I wanted a third for when I want to use one of my smaller machines without having to pack away one of the bigger girls. These tables are sturdy and still small enough to fit in where space is limited. They fold easily to be tucked out of sight in a closet or under a bed. The depth for the drop-down for the machine can be adjusted easily. Just make sure you lock the legs appropriately---and also the drop-down when it is in a raised position for a flat surface to work on. I love all three of my Gidget sewing tables. They suit my needs perfectly.

Very Happy Quilter!
I ordered this 30 pound (easy enough for me to handle) Arrow cabinet (table) for quilt retreats and so glad I did. Purchased a small lightweight dolly ($13 @ Tuesday Morning) that holds up to 55 pounds (use a bungee cord to keep it on) to roll back & forth to & from my car. Easily fits in the trunk of my car. This great table has adequate table top space to my left for piecing quilts. Adjustable lift for sewing machine to fit flush with tabletop, ample leg room, easy to set up & tear down. Very sturdy table does not jump around since piecing quilts doesn't require warp speed. I bought this one WITHOUT the built-in wheels because of the ample tabletop space on my left. FYI - The table with wheels has less sewing room on the left as sewing machine fits in the middle of the table. I used the packing material to fill the open spaces around the sewing machine. I just made a snug pillow-like slip cover for the Styrofoam pieces after I taped the pieces together. Perfect!

adjustable, foldable, sturdy
I have been looking for a plain sewing table for awhile. I didn't want a craft table because there are usually shelves or something underneath and they bother me when sewing. I did want a table that gave me the option of having a free arm or flat surface to sew on. This table is very nice and sturdy, with a nice wide area to sit under. The chain is adjustable so I (or rather Jim) can adjust it to the height of my machine. It's a very plain and clean look that I like, with ample sewing space. The table was very easy to assemble. The legs lock and feel very sturdy, but it's also easy to fold up and store.

Gidget1 Sewing/Crafting/Hobby Table
I ordered this table for my daughter who has recently become interested in sewing. She was always "borrowing" my folding table so I searched EVERYWHERE to find something similar for a reasonable price. As my table is around 30 years old, the search was not easy. I found this table on Amazon for a reasonable price and decided to "go for it." It arrived today and I took it out to examine the condition before gifting it to my daughter. As some other reviewers noted, the inside edge of the drop down area is in fact a little rough, but it had been painted to reduce some of the "snag" factor. After viewing videos on the Arrow website, I noted that the manufacturer recommends leaving on the sewing platform (the removable part around the free arm of a sewing machine) when the machine is lowered into the table. I lowered the insert and placed my machine inside the table with the platform over the free arm and it fit beautifully. That will definitely prevent snagging on some fabric types. A couple of other posters commented they were not happy that a chain holds the insert in the dropped position. I understand their confusion, but in reality, the lowering arm fully supports the lowered inset and I believe the chain is strictly a backup safety precaution. The size and height of the table are terrific and will provide ample space for her to cut out her projects prior to sewing them; the folding legs are very sturdy and the videos on the Arrow website show how to properly lock them into place to prevent wobbling. As I ran my machine, there was no wobble, even at extreme sewing speed on several surfaces (hardwood, tile & carpeting). It is fairly lightweight (about 34 pounds) and folds back easily for storage in a closet or under a bed. I am exceptionally pleased with this table; in fact I might have to order another for myself! Thank you Amazon for making this terrific table available!

Great Little Sewing Table
I use my guest room for crafts and sewing, so space is at a premium. I wanted something that could be folded and stored away if necessary. This table is very sturdy and easily folds and unfolds. I have an older Pfaff 6091, which is a smaller machine, so I had to come up with a minor adjustment to the shelf that lowers for flatbed position: the shelf is adjusted higher or lower by screwing a wing nut up or down on a long bolt. I had it on the highest threads, but there was about an inch without threads at the top; I was able to raise the shelf higher by taking off the wing nut, putting a thick nut at the highest (unthreaded) position, then screwing the wing nut as high as it would go. This placed the shelf at exactly the right height for my machine. I quilt, so the 36" ruler on the front edge of the table is very handy and I've already used it numerous times today (I got the table yesterday). The table is a perfect size to place a few tools and necessities on it while sewing, but small enough that I will probably leave it up even when guests are using the room. It would be easy to put my machine in the closet and raise the machine shelf flush with the table surface to give the guests extra space to use as a desk. Overall, I'm thrilled with this sewing table and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a small sewing table. Update: I've been using this table for about a month now and love it even more! It's so much more comfortable and ergonomic to have my machine at a good height (lowered into the flatbed position). My back is feeling much better! Not having to set up my machine and tools in the dining room, then put everything away before dinner is a real game changer! My spare room is now my happy place all the time!

I've only had the table for a few days and love it. No shaking or vibration when sewing
I have been putting off getting a sewing table for years. Now that I'm older a regular table was hurting my back. I've only had the table for a few days and love it. No shaking or vibration when sewing. I should have bought this a long time ago. The packing was wonderful. I've never recieved anything packaged so nice. The table is already to go and that was another plus. With the welded legs I would imagine this table will last a long time. I did have a If You Give A Mouse a Cookie moment. Now I need a new area rug, new storage cupboards, new lights would be nice and ........

Exactly what i was looking for
My table arrived in 3 days after I ordered it which was much sooner than the expected delivery date. There was no assembly required. All I had to do was prop the legs up and adjust the drop down portion for my sewing machine. I am using a brother se425 and I had to adjust the bolt on the chain the tightest it could go to get the right height. The only thing is that there is a single chain that supports the machine which somewhat worries me. I think i would feel better if there was a second chain on the other side. I sewed on the fastest speed and the table didn't wobble so it's pretty sturdy without the appearance as such. It doesn't take up much space either. I love my new table.

Nice little stand
Great little table for sewing machine, no assembly required. The cutout for the drop down section does have an unfinished edge, but this can easily be fixed with some Melamine edging, EDGE BAND 3/4"X25'WHITE [Misc.] Just lightly sand the rough edge on the cutout and iron this on with an ordinary iron, this might be a little wider than the cutout edge, but just line up the top of the edging with the table surface, the edging is pre-glued, simply hold the edging in place and press you iron against it for a few seconds. When you have it in place you can take some very fine sandpaper and lightly brush the top edge to make a nice smooth edge. Also the drop down section can be adjusted if it is to deep for your machine, it simply uses a small chain and eyebolt for a stop, I had to adjust mine by two chain links to make my machine flush with the table. Use a pair of pliers and twist the eye on the bolt sideways a little to open it up and adjust the chain.
