I know this is a very late review but I needed to share my experience! The frame is very well made, much nicer than others I have tried elsewhere. The clay was incredibly easy to mold and prepare, just a bit of water and perfection! The clay was wonderful as it didn't make a mess. Now, I opted for a different use, I am a HUGE dog lover and the day after my anniversary this year, 12/12 he left us behind, he had cancer unfortunately. I chose this frame to make imprints of his paws so I will always have a keepsake. I haven't chosen the picture I would like yet but it will be a perfect piece once I do! I HIGHLY recommend this frame to animal lovers of any kind, in addition to those wanting to save prints from childhood.

Love love love this! Prints came out so cute! Frame is heavy and sturdy. I do wish the picture was covered in glass not plastic but that is minor. Make sure you keep the clay covered as it will develop a leathery texture fairly quickly making the prints challenging. The directions do say that over and over but I did underestimate! Lol I would definitely reccomend this to anyone looking for a cute baby keepsake (and what an AWESOME baby shower gift!)!

Hardest part was getting my 2 month old to unfold her hand to make a print! lol otherwise this is great and I will cherish it for ever! Oh only downside is the glass in the middle for the picture. that could be better quality.

Easy to use and easy to redo if you mess up!!!! I would recommend having someone else around to help hold the baby still while pressing prints into clay. It turned out great. The thing I like about the press molds over a ink print is you can see every little wrinkle and cold of skin. So adorable to look back and have this keepsake of my little ones. Be sure to order it while pregnant so it's already at home waiting on you when you get home from hospital.

We bought this to commemorate my baby's first Christmas. The clay became smooth and easily pliable in my hands after a quick kneading and adding a drop or two of water. The smoother you get it when kneading, the better it looks once rolled out in the frame. Using my fingers, the tiny rolling pin (included), and the bottom of a glass, I was able to distribute it evenly within the frame. I did one side first, created the imprint pressing quite firmly on my baby's hand, then rolled out the other side for baby's foot. If using this to take a newborn's imprints you may want to make sure your clay is even more smooth and moist to avoid having to press down so much on baby's hand and foot.

I was surprised how easy it was to create that mold. The paste was very easy to work with, softer than I thought.

For my wife's first Mother's day, my 6 month old boy and I got together and I used hand paint to make hand and foot prints on paper. For he second mothers day I found this. I got a great black and white print of a pictur of our boy holding mommy's hand in the middle, and worked on this in our boy's room. I found the item exactly as described, packaged well, and in great condition! You do need to knead the clay before you spread it in the picture frame. You get a small wooden dowel to help roll out the clay. I found getting the clay flat took a lot of effort. After the fact I wondered if the black back plate for the center frame would be a great press to flatten out the clay... Maybe next time... The clay dried as described; one of the molds had about a 2" crack in it which I blame on my own lack of kill than any issue on the product's part. Mommy Loved it!

Bought this to imprint my baby daughter's hands and feet as a gift for my parents. It was easy to use and the prints came out beautifully.

Pay attention to which way the picture hanger in the back is when you are making your molds. I didn't and accidentally did mine upside down. Still, easy to use and VERY CUTE. Use Modge Podge glue and give the clay a top coat after it dries. It will fill in small cracks and seal it.

Just did these on Sunday after our twins turned 1. The clay is pretty easy to work with & came off the frame. Didn't love the wooden roller that came with it (too short & thin) but used a different roller for final smoothing. Wasn't too bad to reset after some failed prints. Tip - put some lotion on baby's hand & foot for easier release & clean-up. They look great, though one side got a small crack in the clay. Overall happy.
