Absolutely love this trike! We bought it for daughter's second birthday. The smallest setting fits her perfectly, and she has plenty of room to grow. The push bar is great for helping her to get over rough spots on the sidewalk, or reining her in if she's going a little too fast. The handlebars did take a few tries to get right when assembling, but we've heard others say the same about other RF trike models. Our daughter also ridden her big cousin's Red Rider Trike, but the Classic is a tiny bit smaller, so she can control it better.

Just what I expected. It's well made and has that "Classic" look I like over the new stuff. Also, the handle makes it easy to get it back home when our toddler grandson wants to walk back to our house after peddling half way around the block. What I do is, pull it (using the handle) on its back wheels with the front wheel in the air. I jumped the gun and bought it for our 19 month old grandchild. However, it didn't take him long to learn how to peddle it with grandpa's help pushing on the handle.

Granddaughter can't reach the pedals yet (15 months) but has loved climbing all over it. It you don't want the hallow plastic noisey wheels on other tricycles, this is the way to go. The wheels are rubber over steel. Seat adjustments are easy, and the handlebars are adjustable up and down too, so as she grows, we can adjust. Solid steel, just like I had as a kid....decades ago!.

This tricycle is fantastic and both of my children absolutely love it. We already own the classic red tricycle and as of last month our 24month old daughter is fighting her brother for the tricycle (sharing is obviously not an option). Anyway - we have had the classic red for almost two years now and we have had nothing but good experiences which is why we decided to get the pink one for our daughter. She still needs some help to ge going so the push handle comes in handy. Our family loves this product in red and in pink. It really is a great toy. P.s.: I am really tired of reading bad reviews from people who didn't do their "homework" when it comes to doing research on products they want to purchase. The Radio Flyer Classic Tricycle does have a push handle which works just fine. If you were looking for a tricycle that can also be steered - THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT ONE FOR YOU. All this really does is push! Your child will have to do the steering. This tricycle also does not have a coast function for your kid so if you want your child to be lazy and just sit there with his feet resting - THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT FOR YOU. The pedals will start moving as soon as this tricycle is in motion.

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter. I feared buying a tricycle without a push bar ,as I felt she needed ADULT Supervision as she learned to ride her trike. This product was far cheaper than all the stores I shopped looking for this item and it is of BETTER quality than the plastic ones. I know this will be a treasure that will last and possibly be past down later in life. She has loved her Christmas present of 2015 and we enjoy going for walks with her knowing she is "safe" at all times. VERY AFFORDABLE PRODUCT AND EXCELLENT QUALITY. Easy to assemble (I am 60 and I had NO problems..woman Power!)

Our daughter loves to ride this and her brothers do too. It is solid, very well made! Love the tires. The easily removable handle bar is great, for walks we keep it on for control and to help her when she is tired, for around the house we take it off and let her navigate on her own. The adjust able height for the seat and handle bars insures a great fit and long use. I wish the pedals could be locked into place for young riders. A great buy!

I got this as a gift for my nephew who will be two years old in a few months. He's still a little small for it but in six months or so he will hopefully be enjoying his very first tricycle. I had it shipped out of state so I don't know how the assembly went. It seems like a sturdy, quality bike for a child.

We purchased this trike just prior to a visit with the grandkids, It arrived on time (actually, two days early)and in good shape. The bike has a cream and red paint job and looks new-vintage. It was easy to put together. We all loved the look (including the parents). I was glad to find a tricycle built from metal instead of plastics as my grandson is quite the little demolisher. Grandpa took him for a ride atleast 5 times each day that we were there. Although very tall for his age, our 20mo. could not quite keep his feet on the pedals when in motion but had no problems keeping his feet up during the ride. He did steer a lot and sometimes cranked the wheel to the left (out of the blue) making us roar with laughter. A light push down on the bar corrected the movement quite easily. We chose this trike over the ones with the adult steering simply due to the free ratcheting pedals on that other style. We wanted the kids to be able to learn to ride as normal, with the safety of an adult near the helper bar. The other style is free wheeling; meaning if the child goes down a hill (even a slight grade), the bike takes off with no means of controlling the speed. They cannot pedal backwards in that type, or put pressure on the pedals to slow down the speed. I didn't want our grandkids rolling into the street at a fast speed with no means of stopping. This is just my opinion and a major reason we chose this particular trike. All in all, we feel we made a great choice and this radio flyer will be in use for a long time then passed down to the next child when out grown, rather than thrown in the trash when worn out.

Almost perfect! I use this with my grandson when we go for long walks.... he thinks he can make the distance but wants to dismount and explore frequently..... You cannot push the bike while the front wheels on the ground so you have to lift using the pole to Keep it going straight...pole too short and I find myself leaning over..... uncomfortable position for your back.... It needs another section on the pole

This is a sturdy little bike - like the kind they used to make them when I was a kid! The only 'problem' we've had with it is the smell from the rubber tires. I think once my granddaughter can ride it outside this spring the odor should go away. It was so overwhelming when we first opened the box that we can to run with it out to the garage and leave it there. The push handle is nice when she's learning how to pedal. You can't steer with the handle but its nice for getting her started. She's small for her age so the adjustable seat height is very convenient. She should be able to use this bike for many years!
