I ordered these Keepers with the knowledge that I may end up returning them as I wasn't quite convinced they would be the money saver they are advertised as. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! I love fresh strawberries and blueberries which are not always easy to keep fresh -they can get mushy and moldy in no time and I would sometimes end up throwing away over half of what I purchased.. I used this - careful to follow directions with the venting and water addition and watched with anticipation to see if I would need a return label. Much to my pleasant surprise it does what is says. My fruit was kept fresh and crisp, no mushy moldy stuff to sift through to see if you can salvage enough for a snack. This keeper should pay for itself in no time at all and I will enjoy tastier fresher fruit because of it. Prepworks you did good!

Someone, in reading the reviews, recommended cutting onions in half so I ordered 2 and found that she was right. There is absolutely no odor from the onion. As an aside, the person who recommended getting 2 should probably should be rewarded as I may not be the only one who listened to her.

I was really surprised at how well this thing keeps my mushrooms fresh. I know, technically, it's for use with many other things, but I bought it mainly for mushrooms since I've tried many other ways to get them to last more than a day or two and nothing else was working. I can put a whole container in this and even several days later the mushrooms are still white and beautiful and tasty looking. I have only used it with button mushrooms, but I'm sure it'd work with other kinds, too. My only complaint, and why I wish I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 5, is that the bottom 'lid' is starting to split on the edge. I noticed it one time while I was drying it. I'm not rough with this thing by any measure of the word, so I can't understand why it's splitting. Even so, I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy another one--I just hope that this splitting is a one time thing.

This thing actually keeps onion odor from escaping, probably because of the stainless steel insertion on the lid. It's unfortunate that it is rounded rather than a cube, because that limits how much storage you get for the space it takes up in the fridge, but my solution was to buy two - one for the half of the uncut onion, & the other for any remaining chopped onion. UPDATE: So I bought two more, since we often have a couple of onions half cut, and some onions chopped up or sliced.

You might as well buy the bigger size instead of this little one because the $ difference is negligible and this WORKS, I'm serious. I've had this close toa year. I always thought products like these were "gimmicky" but after having to buy prepackaged lettuce and wasting money all the time I decided that 10 bucks would not be a big deal. I followed the very simple instructions (2 tbsp of water at the bottom and open vents, for lettuce) and I was pleasantly surprised. I buy my bulk romaine lettuce at Costco and make mini-salads for my SO's lunch every single day so I pre-cut the romaine beforehand and put it in this container, which can surprisingly fit almost 3 romaine lettuce hearts (tightly packed). The lettuce lasts about 1 1/2 weeks before the pink/brown starts to develop in the ribs and by then it's pretty much been used up. It also stays fresh and crisp throughout the 1 1/2 weeks and does not wilt/get chewy like it used to in "regular" containers. I have a little bit more faith in these types of things now that I'm not wasting money on lettuce (we only eat romaine because iceberg lettuce is boring).

I ordered these Keepers with the knowledge that I may end up returning them as I wasn't quite convinced they would be the money saver they are advertised as. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! I love fresh salads and all the fresh vegies that go along with it. I find that my peppers get slimy and limp and I end up throwing about 20% away every week. I used this - careful to follow directions with the venting and water addition and watched with anticipation to see if I would need a return label. Much to my pleasant surprise it does what is says. My vegies were kept fresh and crisp, no limpy slimy stuff to sift through to see if you can salvage enough for that last salad. This keeper should pay for itself in no time at all and I will enjoy a much crisper, fresher salad because of it. Prepworks you did good!

I felt compelled to write this review after successfully just eating 5 week old blueberries. Yes, that’s right, 5 week old blueberries. I was on a recent health kick where I bought a ton of fruits and chia and making chia pudding breakfasts- which, of course, lasted about a week. That was six weeks ago. My second week I bought all my fruit, rinsed them, and put 2 containers of blueberries in my berry keeper. 3 weeks go by and I’m like ick I am not looking forward to cleaning THAT out. So I put it off two more weeks, because I’m 25 and I let things rot in my fridge. Well howdy do da. Today I open the container and the berries were not moldy. Not mushy. They were firm. I was confused but I ate one cautiously. Well it was delicious so I ate a handful and put the rest back in my fridge. I don’t know what kind of sorcery is contained in this product but if it keeps blueberries for 5 weeks sign me up for ten more. Can I keep motivation in there ? That is my blueberry story. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you buy this product. I will now tell you relevant details that you probably want to know that have nothing to do with 5 week old blue berries. Yes, as other viewers have commented, it is small. I opened the package when it first arrived and was like well WTF am I supposed to fit in there ??? Do not let its size fool you. I can fit 2 containers of blueberries in comfortably and if I really organize them and get rid of dead spaces I can fit 2.5. Blackberries, depending on size, you can fit between 1-2 containers. Raspberries probably 1.5. I bought two- so that’s like at least 4 containers of fruit... I’m one person and if I have more Fruit that that in my fridge at one time then I must be a Fruit bat and only surviving on berries. The shelf is nice but unnecessary if you’re packing in tons of blueberries. For its price, if this helps you finish like two containers of berries before they rot, it pays for itself in savings of wasted food. Just buy the dang thing.

These fruit and veggie containers are just GREAT!!!! I ordered 2 just to try them out, heard about them from a friend, and boy do they work! My cilantro usually starts to get black and slimy in a couple of days and I've had it in the container about 2 weeks and it's fresh, green and dry!!!! Yippy!!!!! Would reccomend this product to anybody. I've bought 8 yep that's right 8 in total! And customer service was awsome, one came cracked and they replaced it asap! Orlando Molina🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Works pretty darn good I'd say. Although I also have bought "eat cleaner" which is a must have ever since I've discovered the product it DEFINITELY keeps all produce etc fresher longer! I now wash all my berries and produce with it along with buying this my berries have most definitely lasted longer than ever before. I have kiwi in the container now and it's not dried out or bad still juicy and good to eat after 5 days. Also I did not use the eat cleaner spray for the kiwi. So seems to be doing the job.

These are perfect! They keep produce fresher longer. They also fit in eachother nicely to save on space. I previously had a food network one that was more expensive but didn’t hold up over time.
