Great. I would recommend that you use an inexpensive plastic bag inside this bag so you can re-use. If you are sealing cold cuts you may not want to take all the air out as it will make your cold cut slice adhere to the other slices. Difficult to take slices apart if you take all the air out.

Good quality, reuseable, bit expensive

These seem to be of good quality. I use and reuse them all the time and they save me money by not wasting perishables in my fridge. Great for keeping foods like cheese, sandwich meats, etc. lasting longer. I especially use them for sliced fresh mushrooms in the small plastic container. The mushrooms last for days longer than before. I just wish these were more price competitive with say ziplock plastic bags which don't give you the reusability but do work in my vacuum saver machine.

Excellent for preserving and storing leftovers in the fridge.

I used to use another brand of vacuum seal storage bags for leftovers, but they have been discontinued. I was contemplating buying a vacuum heat-sealing machine from FoodSaver, but when I saw these bags, I decided to forego the expense of the machine, and bought a good supply of these bags. They are heavier and seal better than any other bags I have used. Fortunately, the hand-held vacuum pump from the other brand worked fine. If you don't have one of the other brand's pumps, I recommend buying FoodSaver's FSFRSH0051 FreshSaver Handheld Vacuum pump.

Wonderful product!!!

This Food Saver vacuum seal system is the best thing since sliced bread. I like to keep several extras on hand. I also wash them well and reuse them as long as they will last. I always put a date sticker on them so I know how long I have had the item. I used to have one of those BIG vacuum systems that took us too much counter space, and also wasted the left over material.

Works Great

I love the precut bags. I bought my food saver from Amazon also. I wish I had gotten them years ago. It keeps the frozen foods so well. Chicken & hamburgers taste like fresh off the grill after months in the freezer. When we grill, I grill a lot and freeze some for later. Makes future meals very easy. I have frozen soups, raw and cooked meats, stir fry, vegetables, (green beans & okra from our garden). It saves space in freezer also.

Love these bags

Love these bags!! I use them for lots of things. Excelent for breaking up big meat packs when they are on sale. I throw in some marinade, and seal. use some right away, freeze the rest and they are ready when they are thawed. Much better than a regular zip bag, thicker. We also slice and freeze fruit and other goodies for smoothies. They reseal very well over and over and over. Just freeze your fruit spread out on a cookie sheet first so they are hard and when sealed they won't stick together. Blocks of cheese also last forever when sealed tight after each use. I keep several blocks in their own bag and place them in this bag to seal.

Viva la sous vide!

I got these bags for cooking sous vide and I'm very happy with the results. They seal nicely even when there are bits of food in the zipper. They're strong enough to withstand full vacuum pressure over pointy parts of food, even when subjected to temperature extremes for extended periods. I prepared and bagged a fryer chicken in one of these bags. The drumsticks pressed very firmly against the vacuum-sealed bag, but they did not tear the plastic. I then cooked the entire bird in a bath of 160 degree water all day long. The bag held up perfectly. There was absolutely no leakage and no plastic flavor either. These are now my go-to sous vide packaging system.

So easy to use!

These bags are so easy to use with the food saver adapter! Here you'll see I'm using the quart size ziplock to keep my banana chocolate chip muffisn tops fresh! No air, means they retain their freshness and won't get stale as fast!

So far doing well.

I've only had my sealer for a couple of months and so far they have worked fine.. These bags are very convenient if you want to bag items that you might open periodically (snacks, etc) and want to keep fresh. They work pretty good, you just have to make sure you don't have anything under the valve where the handheld unit connects or you won't get good suction. You DO have to have the handheld accessory (or the stand alone handheld sealer) to use them. These bags have held up so far and kept food fresh without allowing air back in. I also wash the ones that have NOT held meat and reuse them. Good product, good price.
