Great for ATV windshields. Starts hazy, but keep rubbing for crystal clear results.

I bought Novus 1 for the plastic windshield on my Arctic Cat Prowler side-by-side ATV. Novus 1 was highly recommended in a Prowler forum, so I didn't both to spot test it before using it. It sprays on nice and thick. I used light strokes initially as recommended to prevent the dirt from scratching the windshield. I was initially worried when I first started to wipe it off, and it created a thick haze all over my windshield. For a moment my heart sunk as I thought I had ruined my $300 windshield. But I kept rubbing with a soft cotton cloth, and after about 10 seconds the haze disappeared, along with all of the dirt and water spots to reveal a windshield that hasn't been this crystal clean since the day I bought it.

Did my research for the new small nano tank I ordered and scratched by using a paper towel trying to clean exterior. Came across this line of a three stage process for care and treatment of all plastic or acrylic surfaces. I ended up ordering Novus 1 to keep from causing more damage not aware that I was reversing the damage caused. This one was simply a cleaner like Windex would be for glass, but for plastic. From this day forward I will use only this spray and avoid any further damage. Did have to stop with the paper towels or any cotton towels and ordered a micro fiber cloth also sold by the same vendor. No damage or small scratches, just a nicely polished fish tank - shiny happy plastic or acrylic. A must have for all fish people who decide to go the less expensive route by purchasing non glass tanks.The best there is. You wont be disappointed, and do your research for this line.

Great polish for Lucite and clear acrylic

Update: I love this stuff! After the initial success with the two lamps I mentioned below, I’ve been trying this product on a number of plastics around the house. The touchscreen on my HP laptop now has a fingerprint-resistant gloss shine. The keyboard and case also responded well. The plastic buttons, clear plastic display, and even the anodized metal faceplate of my 30 year old Sony receiver look like they just came from the factory. So far, everything Novus 1 has touched has resulted in an instant improvement. Great stuff! —Original Review— I bought Novus #1 to clean the clear acrylic shell of a reproduction Panton VP Globe which had acquired a streaky, swirly film on the inside over the years in storage. Looks like it might have been improperly cleaned before. Swirls not really visible while the light was off, but quite distracting once turned on. Product applied easily, and quickly returned the acrylic to crystal clear and also left the shell feeling extra smooth. Once I got that harder project out of the way, I also used Novus #1 on the Lucite fins of a vintage chrome desk lamp with great results. There again, it restored a fresh shine to them and left them as smooth as the acrylic Globe. I’d also like to add that Novus’ customer service is excellent. Prior to my attempt at cleaning such an awkward piece as that Globe, I emailed them from the link on their website inquiring their suggestion on which of their products would be best to remove the interior swirls from the acrylic, since with the light on, they’d be very visible with it radiating out through it. Instead of upselling, and suggesting using 1 & 2 from the full 1,2,3 product (which is what I was considering to polish the interior), they recommended just getting a single bottle of 1 first and use it a few times. It appears they were correct in their suggestion. Recommended product! :D

Fantastic cleaner for my MISTI and acrylic stamping blocks!

I bought this to clean my Most Incredible Stamping Tool (MISTI). It works great to clean the lid and make sures my clear stamps stick well. It also works good for cleaning acrylic stamping blocks. I was thinking it seems like a lot of money to pay up front but a little goes a long way.Just one squirt is all that is needed to clean my MISTI. I definitely recommend this product!

This product works! I got this for my husband's motorcycle but I ended up using it in the kitchen. I used it on the outside of the microwave and on a glass decoration that was foggy with grease. I didn't have to struggle wiping off all the gook because it glided off with the Novus cleaner. It also worked great on my keyboard and mouse because my son leaves both very sticky. Also, I want to add that the product is odorless which is a big plus for me.

Great Aid for Framing with Plexi/Acrylic

I'm mounting a show of and selling some large format photographs. The high-quality acrylic/plexi that I use can be a staticy dust grabber or get foggy or a tiny bit scratched during the framing process. This stuff cuts way back on the static and ensures that a piece is clear and clean. I do sort of wish though that I'd gotten the kit with smaller bottles--a little goes a long way--and the other formulations for dealing with crazing and more serious scratches. That said, this stuff is an excellent product for cleaning and reducing the static.

Works Great On mY Backyard Plastic Chairts

I ordered this product to bring my extra backyard chairs back to life because we're having a party with a whole lot of guests. After trying the cleaner, I waited a day before posting the review, because I wanted to see if there would be any visible dried residue on the chairs. I am happy to report that there was no residue when I inspected the chairs again today! I see other reviewers use this product for things like cleaning motorcycle shields and, although my need wasn't as lofty, I wanted to try the cleaner in part to see whether or not it left a protection shield of sorts. The shield is there in limited amounts, and the chairs look amazing. I am now ready for our big backyard shindig! Will buy again.

Works as Advertised!!

I love when a product works as advertised!! I originally saw this product on Tiktok, It was said to work as a base layer to aid in keeping fingerprints off glass. Because my glass furniture will arrive soon I thought I’d give this a try. My sliding glass door always has fingerprints and is a hassle to keep clean. I followed the directions on the bottle and low and behold IT WORKS!!! Had a 9 year old test it out by sliding their hands down the door. Some prints did actually show up... BUT... I took my microfiber towel and lightly wiped it and BOOM!!! Gone!!!! Windex will never compete with that! I will definitely be buying more and maybe even try out Novus 2 and 3.

Good anti-fogging for polycarbonate face shields.

I have a polycarbonate face shield that I purchased from a local plastics company. After wearing I clean the face shield on both sides with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to completely dry. I then spray on and use a blue shop towel or microfiber towel to apply the polish that provides anti-fog and scratch protection. Seems to be working so far.
