Absolutely PERFECT for the casual traveler

If you're a casual flyer, get this bag! If you're a professional racking up air miles, you're not even reading this right now. As opposed to another review I read, it DOES have an internal hanger (see note below) and it IS long enough to put a suit for a 6 foot dude! I haven't flown since 2004 and my company, for which I've worked for a year and a half, flew me down to Atlanta, GA from Raleigh, NC; a short one hour flight. I've never needed a garment bag, because every time I've flown, it was leisure. I had to pack at least one suit, a business outfit for my wife, and some shirts and I didn't know it until I had about 36 hours until departure. I ordered it on Monday evening with delivery for Wednesday and me departing on Thursday morning, first thing. Thankfully, it made it on time - yes, I was worried. Now, will this bag make it for the professional business traveler? I seriously doubt it. However, I don't think that's the purpose for this bag. If you need a bag for a once in six months, once a year, or even more sparse, I say this is THE bag! It's fifty freaking dollars! It worked like a charm! The external hanger is built of sufficient construction and strength. That being said, the internal hanger IS NOT built of sufficient strength. But, who cares? Because if you use the horizontal strap, the clothes aren't going anywhere and will not fall, because they can't. The clothes hangers WILL come out of the hanger. That is the ONLY bad thing about this bag, but for $50 I will still give it a 5 STAR rating because what do you expect? For $50, which was a gamble on my part buying it "sight unseen," I expected it to have other cheap defects, but it doesn't have the defects. The wheels are great and the retractable handle is nice and tall. If you're a casual flyer, get this bag! If you're a professional racking up air miles, you're not even reading this right now.

Great price, versatile, just feels a bit heavy

I have now used this once on a six hour journey. First thing- this is not a carry on item. United did not allow this as a carry on even for business class. I checked it in and it held fine. It is quite spacious. I was able to fit in three shirt/pant pairs, shoes, personal toiletries bag and a few other clots comfortably. It feels strong and sturdy. The wheels and handle feels strong. No complaints so far. If anything, the weight of the empty bag is somewhat heavy but that makes it strong.

The best travel system I have purchased so far.

So it took me a while to write this review. I wanted to wait until my husband had a chance to use it while traveling. This is the best purchase on luggage I have spent. We are retired military and have traveled for the past 26 years. My husband loved how all his clothes would fit in this bag. When he has to run from plane to plane he loved how the wheels rolled very smooth and did not wobble around like other bags on wheels. We also liked the fact that he could carry it when needed. The hook where you hang your clothes is very heavy duty. His last bag we had to zip tie the hook. Was great not having to do that. I will be purchasing another in the near future for myself. Great design.

Great inexpensive garment bag.

This bag worked great for travel. I was able to get a tux,suit and 5 dress shirts and 4 pairs of dress pants in with room to spare with no wrinkling. I'm 6'5" so clothes are long.

While the packaging was in bad state, a carrier issue

I ordered this for a friends birthday present as she always wants something practical she can use. It came in and I was incredibly worried as the package had multiple tears and holes in it so opened it up to check on it. While the packaging was in bad state, a carrier issue, the product itself is wonderful. For the price I was worried it might be cheap etc but wanted to give it a try and so glad I did. It's well made, solid material and works wonderfully. My roomate is ecstatic over this as she's a movie extra and has to take costuming with her on many occasions so this is perfect.

Excellent quality/ perfect size

I wanted to make sure that I wrote a proper review about this item so I decided to wait until we were done with our travels. I am very pleased with this garment bag. My spouse is in the military and we recently completed a move overseas. We needed a bag that was big enough to carry at least one set of each uniform that he would need before our household goods arrived. This garment bag delivered beautifully! We packed 3 uniforms, 2 pair of uniform shoes and other uniform items. We have been carrying this bag in and out of airports and hotels since our move began in December. I read that many airlines do not allow it as a carry-on but we did not have a problem with that, which is the exact reason why we ordered it in the first place. We wanted to make sure that even if all our luggage were misplaced that my husband still had his uniforms in hand. Its a great size for anyone that needs to pack for a quick get-away, conference or military move (like us). We are finally settled and the garment bag has officially been put away with out any scratches (shockingly), the tires and handle are not broken, lose or showing any signs or wear and tear. The price was great! I made sure to compare with other stores and online companies and but this bag was definitely the best fit for us. I highly recommend this product for anyone that travels often and needs a go bag.

Nice Garment Bag for the right price

Great bag, only used it once so far but fits a lot of stuff. It went through the check-in process and came out without any damage. I originally thought I would be able to carry this on, but I wasn't allowed to by the airline staff. It might fit, it might not I was never afforded the opportunity to try.

Some quirks, but overall excellent !!!

Have now made half a dozen trips -- minimal signs of wear -- everything still functions. Pocket access (both inner and outer) can be a challenge (upside down at times) -- but it holds an extended weekend wardrobe + footwear + computer + tablet + shave/shower kit + camera + small sleeping bag ... and there's room for more ... (not enough room for the kitchen sink -- but. almost !!!) Hoping it remains as durable as it seems !!!

This garment bag holds a lot of clothes. We were able to pack a dress, men's suit, a youth suit, and 3 pairs of shoes with all of the other dress accessories with room to spare. I initially thought we would be tight on space, but once unzipped with clothes hung inside, I immediately realized there was a lot of room to spare. If you are needing to pack 5 pairs of dress clothes and possibly 2 pairs of shoes and accessories, you should have plenty of space. The bag rolls well and is easy to load and unload in a vehicle. My only complaint is: The mesh compartments in the corners a bit small for shoes (men's shoes) and a bit large for accessories. I'm not sure what is intended to be packed there, but they are pretty useful.

We are re-buying this bag a third time because its a great price for a bag that lasts for about a year with the business travel my husband does. He is not gentle with this bag and attaches his heavy briefcase to the top which is what leads to the need for replacement. The size is perfect for carry on overhead storage and easily fits 4 days worth of business clothes. The multiple compartments are convenient as well. To comment on the handle length- he is 6'4" and has never had any complaints about it. The only issue we've had is the hanging portion has a screw/piece that comes loose and causes it to seem broken but after finding the problem, simply pushing it back it will fix the latch.
