Great starter set

You get what is advertised in here, though I did find a case that holds everything and has a lot more tools for a cheaper price. However, this one comes with the book, which is where I think the value is! You would want to be buying this for the book, though in quite a few cases, I had to just look up videos on YouTube.

Excellent details with pictured instructions

I've been sewing most of my life but never learned to crochet. I picked up this book and was able to learn the craft right away. There are several fun blanket patterns that are perfect for a beginner as well as a few other non-blanket projects.

if this kit is bought. you do not have to buy the crochet hooks seprately, as all of the hooks are given and it also mentiones which hooks you need for which project.
