works fine
I got this to use on my new Valterra D04-0250 Dominator 15' Sewer Hose Kit in my new Valterra A04-0153 White 64" EZ Hose Carrier but I find I only need the black end with the tether strap on it. Here's why - when I put the hose away (after thoroughly rinsing) I want it to air dry so I want to leave the back end open. I do this by leaving the red cap off and loading that end of the sewer hose into the storage tube first. The tube has some air circulation so the sewer hose dries out with one end open. Now, the storage tube is about 10-12 inches longer than the sewer hose so, when I go to use it, it's usually a semi-long reach to grab it and drag it out so I use the black end, with the tether on it, on this end. I hooked a stiff little bungee cord to the little rubber tether and it lays in there in front of the sewer hose and allows me to easily reach into the storage tube and pull out the sewer hose.

A MUST HAVE IF YOU ARE STORING THE STINKY SLINKY INSIDE ANYTHING
I have two sets of these and they work great. I keep my "good hoses" inside a plastic storage box and these keep any residual mess from leaking. Without these the inside of the box would be gross! They are solidly build and keep your "stuff" together!

Work Great!
Had to buy several packages of these as my RV has 2 grey and 1 black tank that are not near each other so I use a Y connection and 3 hoses and these are perfect for keeping things closed and clean when storing them away after a trip.

They are what they are
The bayonet fit (or lug fit) just as you would expect and the material seems well made. These work for me.

Slinky Stoppers!
These are great for stopping up the ends of your sinky slinkies before putting them away. They also make it possible for you to compress the slinky down to a shorter length and put on the caps so they stay shorter while stored. Overall, a very good idea.

You NEED these
You NEED these ... one for each smelly, dirty hose you carry in your RV. Many hose manufacturers include them ... double check. I have a class A RV with 'basement' compartments so I don't have to worry if the tube, with these on, fits into a larger storage tube. The tube diameter is increased to the width of the tabs (pins) they screw onto plus a little more.

drip cap set
These caps work great. Previous to buying them I had a storage tote in the basement of my RV that the sewer hose went into, but no matter how much you try and get it all the water out of the hose out there is always a bit left in the accordion folds. These caps seal both ends of the hose tightly and contain any drips and smells.

Easy to use.
Works with my sewer hose. The outside cap does not fit into the trailer bumper but I put a screw in the bumper and the end cap stays on the hose keeping the hose inside the bumper while traveling.

VERY nice cap and rubber keeper strap.
You definitely don't want these to fail. And it's always necessary to have a nice New cap you don't want to be that guy driving down the road with his septic dripping.

Great addition to their hose set(s)
These drip caps fit the gray Valterra hoses perfectly. I bought 3 sets as I have 3 Valterra hoses. They are actually an airtight seal which helps keeps the hose collapsed when installed and do not allow leakage. Very nice for keeping the residual hose 'stuff' inside the hose until you can rinse them out properly! I definitely recommend them and would buy again if need be.
