I like the robust color to alert would be criminals. It is well made out of steel. The claw helps to grab and serve as a cholk even on our RV pad. This is a great item to use for boaters, farmers, RV owners, etc.

This lock saved my trailer

This is the second lock I have purchased, and it is well worth it. This lock saved my trailer. The trailer was parked outside my business, and someone tried to steal the trailer. We came back the next day and the thief had cut my coupler lock off and had stolen the wheel that this lock was attached to. Our guess was that they were taking it somewhere to cut the lock off and return with the wheel to take the trailer. I have since added locking lug nuts (2 different types), a much more robust coupler lock, a "boot" type wheel lock and this lock again. Nothing is going to stop a thief, but this lock definitely saved my trailer.

Great Deterrent

Just what I needed. I have an open flatbed car trailer that I'll leave at a hotel when I need to take a car out of town. I had a trailer stolen one time about 3 years ago, even with a ball lock. I still use a ball lock, but also plant this bad boy on one of the trailer wheels. Being bright yellow, I'm sure it has caused some folks to just move on and not even think about it... too much hassle. This is powder coated, and a great rubber coating is on the ends to prevent scratching your wheels. Great quality for the price.

No lock is 100 % safe, but this is a damn good start to protect your trailer.

Boy, I did save a lot on Amazon.com instead of buying it in Canada, even with our poor exchange rate. No rust on the product after my first season with it. Very easy to use. Some YouTube videos recommand this lock. Of course, a thief can stole the whole Wheel but all in all, it is longer and more dissuasive. Moreover, my trailer is not moving anymore while in the parking, thanks to the design of the product.

Best chock lock ever

This thing is awesome I was a little worried about the fit but this thing fits perfect. I travel with a 5 by 8 trailer and I let it sit at the hotel when I don't need it so this thing really takes the worry out of getting my trailer stolen just remember to buy some lock nuts too that way you caint just take the tire off.

Eye Catching

Fantastic, Solid, Easy to use. but most of all Eye Catching. I drive a 1982 Toyota Pickup that has no security whatsoever. I used to use a brake lock and steering wheel lock but, no one would notice. I wanted something that would catch the would be thieves eyes and ward them off from a distance. This does exactly that. Now I feel more secure that would be thieves will not even bother breaking in just find a brake lock in place. Many have commented about how secure it looks and even more have asked where to get one. I Love It.

well, the first time I drove the van pulling my trailer equipped with one of these, I forgot to take it off, and it did allow the wheel to turn, however, it ripped out the stem and all the air in the tire escaped. pulled the tire, took it to a tire shop and they put the stem back in, aired it up, I came home, put it on the trailer and learned that this thing will slow down a theif

A truck pulled into our field at 4:00am on a Sunday morning where both job trailers & older jet skis & pontoon boat are stored, My wife was getting ready for work and heard them make 4 passes before they pulled into the field & turned on the lights to the house which they did not like and they where able to back up down the road about 300' to get away, I'm sure they were lost or going to relocate one of our trailers for better storage. We ordered 4 Trimax wheel chock locks for the small trailers to see if they would work [Wish we would have gotten them all keyed the same, took them to a locksmith & he said it needed to be done from the manufacture] they are easy to install & take off and very good quality, where you insert the key has a rubber boot that slips over the lock to keep snow & water out which will help,We will order 5 more for the bigger trailers, at least maybe we will hear them clanging around if they come back and borrow one.
