I bought this stool so my 4' tall, 7 year old daughter can reach the cabinets in the kitchen. It's TALL, honestly it's bigger than I expected, but it works perfectly for it's intended purpose, and it's lightweight enough my kid can tote it around to get to different shelves. She's loving her new-found independence to be able to get to dishes without help when she needs one, and I'm loving her new-found ability to unload the dishwasher! Added bonus, now I can reach the light bulbs in the vaulted ceiling in my kitchen without having to go drag the 6' stepladder out of the tool shed!

I just moved to a new home. I'm 5'3", so on the shorter side, but not SHORT. However, our new home must have been constructed for giants. I have difficulties reaching the shelves in my closet, kitchen, laundry room, everywhere!! I have a standard 10" stool but this was not sufficient. I decided to purchase this item and it's made my life so much easier. It is easy to carry around and use whenever I need it (which is often). Item is light and sturdy as well. Does it's job. I purchased this at a very good price, don't know if it was more than anywhere else, but to me, the convenience of finding on my front door is well worth the money.

After reviewing many different step stools, most had difficulty opening ladder as major drawback. Costco ladder claimed to be easy opening. . . and it is. I bought the 3 step even though I don't need more than two, because I wanted the balance bar at the best height for holding while reaching and it too is perfect. At 70 y/o, I can do almost anything around the house, but balance isn't as good as at 50. Steps are wide enough so that shins don't bump the next step up, something I've experienced with other step stools. The ladder folds flat and slim enough to store behind a door. It is balanced well and stands where stored when door is closed and not providing any support. I couldn't have made a better choice.

This is the best step ladder I've had! I can reach the ceiling comfortably and everything else below that I need to get to. It folds nearly completely flat, such a wonderful spacesaver! I noticed people complaining in the reviews about stickers being on it, it is true there are the legally required warning labels as any ladder has, not sure why anyone would be surprised by this. The stickers really aren't so bad, especially when left alone, all in all it is a very nice looking step ladder and very functional, strong and dependable. It is easy to fold and unfold. I really can't say a bad thing about it. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace a wooden step stool that was much heavier. The handle at the top gives extra stability as well. Very pleased. Oh -- it passed Cat Inspection as well!

At first, I wasn't a huge fan of how the stool looked, but the utility beats the aesthetic by a lot, so I've come around :) Actually, the look has also grown on me, it is a simple design with basic colors and stays very clean. It is pretty lightweight, easy to handle and move around. It folds up to be very thin, so is very easy to store. It doesn't take much pressure to open it right up and then a slightly firm push down on the plastic step to lock it in. Then a slightly firm pull of the plastic top step to unlock the step to easily and smoothly fold it back into storage position. It holds up my 250 lb husband fine. I have really grown to love this stool, I use it a lot and see myself using it for a long time.

I'm 73, 110 pounds, female and half my back is fused due to polio prior to 13 and surgery. I'm fearful of anything that I use that isn't super secure because I know one fall because of all my interior and exterior projects that I would especially be in deep poop. I can't begin to tell you how much I love this step stool. I plan on getting several more. I have the 2 step but probably will get 3 step and another 2 step since my husband keeps wanting to take this for his shop. MY LAST STEP STOOL, not this manufacturer and I paid at least twice as much I have pinched my fingers in badly now twice. This will be given away with a warning. This opens and closes so easy. It's HUGELY SECURE with the feet on tile floor, cement outside, dirt and grass when I did a shutter project, and right now I use it almost daily in my kitchen for those items on top shelves. GREAT JOB with construction. LOVE THE GREY COLOR, and something to kind of lean against with the handle. SO FOR MY PEACE OF MIND This is one safe item for me, and I appreciate this a whole lot.

I bought one of these to use downstairs to reach things (I hate ladders) and liked it so much I bought another one to use upstairs. They are very sturdy, and because the steps are wide, I don't feel insecure. I also use the steps as stools when I am working on something so I don't have to keep bending over. They fold up easily and store in a small space. I'm thinking about getting another one for the garage!

Bought this for my mother. She’s 83 yrs old and determined to hang her own curtains and reach the top of the closet shelves. This gives her the stability that she needs to do that. The steps are wide. The handle is long so she has something to hold onto when she’s on the second step. The handle also give her the security of climbing the ladder without the fear of falling. It is wide at the bottom with rubber which secures to the floor so it doesn’t slide. I’m thrilled that I chose this for her. She feels safe and I have piece of mind. Now if I can only get her to stop hanging the curtains and wait for me. That’s a harder challenge that it was to find this. Definitely recommend it for anyone.

This is the best step stool I have ever owned. I got it to replace the folding Cosco stool I bought years ago. That one stood the test of time, but now that I'm older, I need to be sure I have a heavier and reliably stable step stool. I'm quite short, and the top shelves of our cabinets are too high for me to reach without assistance. I use a step stool almost every day. This Cosco step stool is hefty and well-balanced, with steps wide enough to provide an even better sense of security. I recommend it as just right for anyone who needs assistance to reach higher places.
