great product, very pleased
My son was getting a tv for his bday and his room is small so we knew we'd want to get a wall mount. I browsed several styles and read reviews and felt this would be a good one. He got a 32 inch Samsung, it's extremely light weight tv, in fact the bracket weighs more than the tv. I was tempted to not put the bracket on a stud (mostly because the stud wasn't exactly where we wanted to put the tv) but we decided to follow the directions and put it in a stud just to be sure. It's not too far off from where we wanted it, with a little maneuvering of the mount we can position it where we want pretty much. It was pretty darn easy to get together and install UNTIL it was time to mount the tv to the bracket, the screws given were pathetically short and didn't get the job done (that's what she said lol) anyways, my husband had to go to the local hardware store and came back with 3 different sizes just to be sure. One of those sizes worked perfectly and after that it was a breeze. If it wasn't for the setback of having to go get different size screws I'd say the entire install would've taken 20 minutes at the most. It's pretty hard to maneuver the arm to get it to come out of the wall further, but the movement of tilting the screen or turning it is very easy to do. We hung it up kind of high on the wall, mostly so the kids don't try to mess with it, and we were able to tilt it down enough so the kids can see it clearly. Now my husband and I want the same setup in our room, and when we do I will definitely order this bracket again.

Lightweight, easy to mount & flexible
I used this tv mount for a 32” flatscreen in my home office. It’s lightweight, easy to mount, and with the flexibility of extending the arm at just the elbow, you can easily hide hardware such as apple tv, small cable boxes and power right behind the television. Just use four square heavy duty velcro pieces on bottom of cable box, one on apple tv, and two on power strip, and they can sit flat on wall directly behind and out of site.

Excellent!
Easy setup. And very universal. I bought two, one for each TV. This unit comes with a various size screws to fit most TVs. One of my TVs was older than the other one, and I had to go to my local hardware store to get slightly longer screws so the mount would connect to the holes in the back of the older tv. The mount allows the tv to turn, tilt, move left and right and swing out and in. The movement of the arm makes it super easy to plug in wires to the TV. The mount itself is very simple in design and very stable. Be forewarned, tools are needed though: - 13mm socket driver - phillips head screwdriver -Power drill and 7/32" drill bit - 8mm socket driver - a bubble level. (optional, but nice if you want to make sure you get the mount screwed into the wall straight) - Stud finder

Easy to install, holds position great, Samsung TV
Unbelievably wonderful, and easy for me, a person with limited physical abilities, to install. First, I am using this with a Samsung 32" Smart TV, and yes I needed to buy separate screws for the TV (M8x20 to use without Samsung's spacers, M8x30 with the spacers). The M8 is the size and the 20 or 30 is the length. VideoSecu did package it with a variety of screws all seem short, about 12mm length. So, using a stud finder, I marked off the stud where it was to be located. Then sketching the holes of the base, I drilled the pilot holes according to the easy to follow, for the most part, directions. Then it was a matter of simply screwing the base to the stud. I then added the four "legs" to the plate to make it fit 200x200 holes already on the TV. The M8x20 screws from ACE did the do and then the plate was securely attached to the TV. Now what makes this armature stick out from the rest of the pack.... The plate has little "teeth" that make it very, very easy to put the TV onto the armature, balanced, making it easy for one person to then attach the armature and plate already secured to the TV. In use, the movable joints are nice and tight, so that the TV stays where you put it, including horizontally level. My TV needs to be adjusted between 3 positions for viewing: bed, chair, bathroom. After much use everything is still tight enough to hold the various positions. Much unlike many other reviews for other wall mounts describe. I still can't believe, nor can anyone else, that I was able to do this by myself!

Great Value for the Money
I used to work retail selling wall mounts that were more complicated to install than this one, at about 5x the cost. In this case, simple is better. All I needed from the instructions was what size holes to drill. Just minutes to get it ready to put on the wall, presto, chango, all done! And I do want to thank the reviewer that mentioned the provided screws would not be long enough for a Samsung TV. They were so right. I had purchased the correct length prior to the mount arriving, so I was prepared. The size escapes me now, but they are the standard threads for TV Vesa mount, just longer, I think 20mm. 15mm or 16mm would likely have done it, with the 20mm I had to include a couple washers to get the correct depth. After install, the flexibility to move the TV around is very good. Firmness of movement is adjustable. All in all, just can't say enough good things about this mount. If you're waffling and can't decide among the many available, stop looking, just click on this one. For the money you just can't beat it. Oh, I have a 32" TV, for which this mount is actually overkill. It could hold a much larger TV very securely (maybe not a 55" or 60", no, but in the 40" range, yes, no problem, no worries).

It works week later tv still on wall
Just went and checked, TV still on the wall so gave it five stars. Easy to assemble and install. Used on a 30” tv in bed room. Only suggestion tighten very tightly the swivel nut right at the tv right out of the box. Real pain when the tv is in the air and is had a lot of play in it. Once snuggled up no worries.

Inexpensive, sturdy mount
For the price, this one is tough to beat! I wanted to mount a 24" HDTV in my small home office to free up some shelf space. After glancing through the other reviews and looking at the available photos I decided to order the mount and give it a try. The mount arrived in an open box which gave me pause, but all was OK. The mount, well-labeled hardware and excellent instructions were included. I was a little overwhelmed with the number of parts that came with this mount, but quickly figured out that you get more than you need because each mount fits various sizes of TVs. I didn't have to add any extensions as the basic mounting plate fit perfectly to the back of my TV without the need to add anything. I used four screws on the back of the TV and the two bolts into the wall which left me with a lot of extra parts. NOTE: The bolts that go into the wall require a socket or a wrench to tighten down. I had expected them to be Phillips head type but was surprised that this was not the case. Using a stud finder I located where to place the mount, made sure things were level and drilled two corresponding pilot holes into the studs. Tightening down the bolts went fairly swift with a ratchet wrench. I would suggest putting the mounting plate on your TV ahead of mounting the arm. Then you can simply lift the TV and place it on the arm, finishing with two small screws to hold the plate on the back of the TV. The mount appears well made, feels very solid and moves easily once you loosen up a few things. It's not difficult to mount as long as you know how to find the stud in a wall, drill a couple of holes and can use a socket wrench. Two pairs of hands would be helpful, but the mount can be installed by one person. I'm pleased with it and would buy more if the need arose. Definitely a good deal! ---------------------------- A week later... I bought a second one for a bedroom TV of the same size. Very happy with this purchase! ------------ ---------------

A terrific wall mount for an outrageously low price.
This item is durably constructed of what appears to be steel, relatively easy to mount and installing the television on it is a snap. Make sure you have a set of socket wrenches or open end wrenches as the small included wrench seems to be the wrong size for the swing arm bolts themselves. This is not a huge deal as the mount arrives with the proper amount of tension on the arms. This will only be an issue if you need to loosen or tighten the swing arms themselves. A level is also handy for making sure the base is properly mounted onto the wall. I'm amazed that such a great product is sold for such a reasonable price. I expect this arm will last decades. To address some comments i've seen here, this item does come with instructions and they're quite good. If yours does not you've probably been sold a repack.

Perfect -- Well made, inexpensive & infinitely adjustable!
We had a 20-inch flat screen television on top of the fridge for years but one of us could never see it well when sitting at the dining room table. Had a handyman doing work at the house put this up on the wall next to the fridge and now the screen swings out and we can give it the perfect tilt downward so both of us can see the ENTIRE screen. It took him 30 minutes and that includes the time he took to get it out of the box. He didn't even read the instructions prior to installing. When I'm at the island or the stove cooking, I can adjust the swivel with one finger so I can see it while I cook -- when I'm done, one finger puts it back in the position we keep it at, facing our dining room table. It's not only well made but is infinitely adjustable -- can't believe it sells for such a reasonable price. Don't pass it up 'cause you think it's too inexpensive, as it's quite sturdy and well made. All we had to do was put a couple of risers under our cable box that still sits on top of the fridge so the cable remote control would work and now we're good to go. So sorry we waited so long to get this puppy!

As advertised
I bought this wall mount for a 28" Vizio to mount above a treadmill. I am not a particularly handy guy, but this mount was very easy to install. Drill two pilot holes into a stud and drive in the provided screws. No problem at all. For the price this is a very attractive product.
