Better Than Original Kohler Flapper
This flapper solved my problems of too short flushing time. It is adjustable and you can set the volume of water in the flushes. I did have to remove excess chain to keep it the correct length to avoid it getting stuck under the flapper since they have a long chain to fit different toilets. East to do just take a pair of long nose pliers and remove a link to remove excess chain. Also the tabs that secure it to the overflow tube are a hard plastic and much smoother rotation. Korky hit it out of the park with this one.

The fix for my American Standard Cadet
For months I'd been dealing with a flapper that would stay open, pop off the hinge, or shift and not seal completely, wasting I'm sure gallons of water a day, which defeats much of the purpose of replacing my 50+ y/o original toilet. The way it clips on makes it coming unhinged an impossibility. It seals nicely so far and feels sturdy when hitting the flush lever. It works fine on the setting recommended on the packaging for the Cadet 3. I have noticed I do need to hold the lever for a second or two to get the water going into the bowl, and I'm sure that could be remedied with some adjustments, but it's not really a problem, and I'm just kind of tired of sticking my hand in the toilet tank at this point.

Great, highly recommend
Very happy with this flapper, it was a great purchase. The flapper in my Eljer toilet started to go bad and was leaking constantly and I needed to replace it. I never have had to replace one of those before so I didn't really know what I was looking for. I came across this one and very happy I did. It works well and creates a nice seal and it was easy to put on. I haven't had any issues with it and I have been using it for several months now. Would highly recommend this flapper to anyone that can use it.

Minutes to install, Could not be happier!
I have never replaced anything on a toilet ever, and normally would ask my husband to do it, so the task was daunting at first, but after reading that others could do it easy enough, I thought I would give it a shot. I used this on a Toto G-Max toilet (11 years old) and the installation could not have been smoother. Left me confident enough that I just bought a fill valve replacement tonight. A little help from a Youtube Video and I am good to go! I actually am looking forward to tackling it on my own. Highly recommend, very universal, the only suggestion is to make sure if you have a 2" or 3" hole and you are all set. Thank you Amazon for making this available, and Thank You Korky for a simplified installation, love Univeral when available.

Brave New World
The old ones were just too small for the new commodes (which somehow amazingly flush better using less water). This one, a bit spendy and arguably over-engineered, but works well, does what it should. Korky parts are pretty reliable and long-lasting, been happy with their stuff. Local hardware stores didn't have this size, however (despite selling the commodes that need it!), thus I ordered it here.

Korky makes quality products, and these are no exception. They were easy to install, and they can be adjusted to control the amount of water released from the tank. To adjust them, twist the white band to align the holes. As the resident "handyman" at our home, I like that feature, especially with our low flow (1.6 gallon) commodes that are now sold.

Superior in every way
Sooo much better than the Fluidmaster brand it replaced. Let's start with Korky's secure clamp-style connector (vs. the Fluidmaster's hook-style that would dislodge on about 40% of flush attempts and required me to open the tank to snap it back on the bar). Then there's Korky's superior gasket that doesn't leak (vs. the Fluidmaster's poor choice of silicone/rubber which would constantly bubble up and cause water leaks until you slash the bubbles with a blade). Also, the heavy weight of this Korky flapper ensures it flaps back down (vs. the Fluidmaster's light weight flapper that would get stuck in the open position about once every 10 flushes). At the time I bought it, even the price of this Korky was cheaper than the Fluidmaster.

I like full flushes BABY
I'm tired of my low flow toilets that don't empty the tank but instead just use the weight of all the water in the tank while only releasing 25% of it. Yep, low flow toilets have been mandated by the govment for years. And they make 'em plenty strong enough to flush 12 golf balls. But the little bit of water that gets released goes straight down the drain to create the flush. This action does nothing to clean the "skid marks" from around the bowl. Water saving toilets are designed to give maximum flush with minimal water. Great idea, in theory. And sure everything goes down the drain, but at the expense of the bowl not getting "cleaned". And that is because the OEM flappers have a hole in the sidewall. That hole allows air to escape at a set rate that then makes the flapper close (or sink) before all the water is out of the tank. So you get the full "force" of the weight of a full tank, but nowhere close to the volume. Install one of these and set the hole-closing dial to anywhere you like. For those that love the planet and wanna save even more water you can make it close even faster. For those of us that need everything the toilet can do to remove any evidence we were just there, you can make it stay open and empty the tank into the bowl if you want. But don't tell anyone or the poo poo police will come calling. lol $11.40 from Tool Hardware Shop.

Good Replacement for Toto
Used on a Toto ST 794. Called Toto and the support person said this one was better than the one Korky designed for Toto toilets. He said also to wipe the hole with vinegar to make sure no lime deposits impeded closing. That was very helpful. I like that about Toto. I have 2 toto toilets that were running at the same time. I had already ordered the more expensive replacement flapper specifically identified to work with the Toto which I also will review. I definitely like this one much better than the more expensive one. On another note, the Toto toilets were not worth the price - good looking but the one that was not supposed to get stopped up, G Max, often did. The hole was too small and oddly shaped for the average toilet bowl cleaning tools.

Does the job.
I have an Aqua Source toilet purchased at Lowes. After a few years, the hard water in my area ate through the original flapper. This flapper fit in the toilet perfectly, stopped the toilet from running. Since it is more durable than the original, I would expect it to last at least 5 years.
