very nice little anchor, easy to install, and is getting the job done, just as described - securing a laptop with it, and it is not going anywhere.

Needed to lock down existing computers and tech assets for WISP compliance and these did the trick perfectly. The security screws are great. Wouldn't advise using the adhesive strips that are included. Kind of defeats the purpose, but that's up to you.

Good solid connection point.

So I used the adhesive strip to stick the anchor to the side of the steel cabinet under my desktop. It has stuck well to this surface so far (a couple of months as of this writing). I briefly considered trying to stick it to the bottom of the desktop itself but had reservations about how long that bond might last. I haven't given it a good yank and have no plans of doing so, If you really need a secure connection, I suggest using the provided screws (or some nuts and bolts) to attach it with.
