Great as a Personal monitor!!
I play and sing in a Rock band for the past 30 years.. I use this monitor last nite.. Works Great as a Personal monitor!! Along with my voice I also had some keyboard sent to the monitor.. Crystal Clear.. So far so good.. I've had problems with Behringer power amps in the past.. I'll update..if I have a problem, with this Unit..

Clear, loud, sound! We use this speaker ...
Clear, loud, sound! We use this speaker for a small Karaoke setup on our boat. Boat-E-Oke. Three inputs allow this to function as a mixer, allowing computer and two mics. Each input has it's own volume control. It is hard to find so much function in a small speaker. There is a thru jack in the back in case you need more sound. I bought this thinking I would want to add another speaker, but so far do not need it. Rockin the dock. Buy this, you will not regret it.

Personal PA System That is Excellent and Affordable!
I've recently started taking voice/stage lessons and I wanted to have a basic PA setup for practicing at home. Having your guitar and voice amplified allows you to practice in a way that is more like what you experience on stage! So I began researching what are sometimes referred to as "Personal PAs". I wanted something small, compact and simple to set up. And I wanted decent sound with some respectable volume. After rejecting more expensive solutions and also those that contained multiple components (amp, speakers, etc.) I decided to purchase the Behringer B205D. I love this PA!! 5 stars all the way! If your needs are like mine you will love this unit. I won't list all the features as they are described on this page and the other reviews provide lots of this discussion as well. But I will say I have successfully performed in class using a mic and my guitar plugged in. The sound was clean and nice and loud! The unit is super easy to carry around and set up in case you want to do more than practice at home. Next week I will be using this at an open mic at a local pub. Also worth noting is the seller I dealt with was simply outstanding! They are US Sound & Light (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/main?ie=UTF8&isAmazonFulfilled=0&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&isCBA=&seller=A2I3KI79ZQR6C). I had problems with my first unit and they exchanged it for me and even reimbursed me for the return shipping when Amazon would not! This is a very high-quality company to do business with and I highly recommend purchasing from them whenever possible!! Just a few more things worth mentioning. First, as I researched this online it appears Behringer has a bit of a reputation for producing "knock-offs" of other products. In this case, it certainly appears this unit is very similar to the Mackie SRM150 (which is more than $100 more expensive). I have no idea if the overall quality of these two units is comparable but interesting to know this anyway. Second, my initial unit was defective. It could only handle the volume being turned up to about 35% before the amp starting "cutting out". I sent it back and got another one from the seller. The second unit was better but it had some annoying vibrations/buzzing when you would hit certain notes. In this case however, I was able to fix it myself by partially disassembling the unit, adding a paper gasket and tightening several loose screws. It was easy to do and now I'm confident if any vibrations recur I can fix them myself. This experience of "two-in-a-row" with problems makes it a little harder for me to recommend this without reservations, however, I am so happy with the unit now that I could not honestly give it less than 5 stars! Finally, as I am getting used to this unit I am already seeing some possible limitations. This is not the product's fault but something you may wish to consider as you decide if this unit is for you. I am thinking 2 inputs is not enough. As long as its just you and your guitar (or uke or banjo or whatever) this unit works great. But as soon as you want to do a duet you'll need something more because you only have the two inputs. I'd love to see this unit in a version offering four inputs with two of them set up to handle either guitar or mic. And I'd love to have EQ for each individual input rather than for the mixed signal. Yeah, I know I'm talking about a more advanced unit but you should consider these factors when you make your decision. All in all, I am very happy with this PA!

Can you hear me? I have an announcement to make...
...this PA system / monitor is the real deal! I read the reviews, but I shook my head and said there's no way such a small little speaker could cut the mustard. But it can, and it does. To be clear: The speaker is small, so you're not going to get bowel-shaking bass notes. But it's a loud lil' sucker, and I was really surprised at the amount of volume it was able to put out. Super-versatile inputs, nobs, switches, and knobs. All up-front and easily accessible. The thing is so light too and would be perfect for gigging. I'm going to use this to replace my larger (and much heavier) keyboard amp / PA system. My only gripe is the mount for a mic stand. It's at an odd angle. It cants the speaker up a bit. I guess it's the perfect angle if you want the speaker on a short stand and you're using it for vocal monitoring. But otherwise, I'd prefer the mount make the speaker totally level when mounted straight-up on a mic stand. I read through a lot of reviews and saw mention of several of these units that fried or died quickly. We're all gambling a little when we buy an inexpensive speaker designed by Germans but built by the Chinese. Still, for the price, this speaker is a steal. Don't even hesitate, just get one.

Behringer vs Makie
So I originally got the virtually identical Mackie version of this and it crapped out on me after a couple of years of easy work. Behringer is typically good at making comparable gear at better prices than most. I use this for my vocal monitor attached to my drum rack. So much more efficient than a floor monitor. I have my own volume and tone settings at my fingertips, and because there is more than one channel, I can run a full main mix into it on one channel and mix in a separate feed from my own pa channel. Very cool to be able to mix down a too loud harmony, or turn myself up a little in my ear without affecting any of the other mix dynamics. Definitely recommend ... Hey you get volume and tone and control of your own space!

Great value - excellent for presenters - powerful enough to cover a surprisingly large area without distortion.
We originally purchased two of these to use as sound systems for our speakers during their presentations. Typically these are used in hotel conference rooms with capacities of 60 - 120 people. They worked beautifully for this, and the CD input capability was great for those presenters who needed to play videos from their laptops. Sound quality for the music was better than we expected. Since they worked so well and were so easy to move around we risked using one of them in a 5,000 square foot ballroom rather that lug our larger unit in there. We still only needed the volume set at about 75% to provide full room coverage. We were so impressed that we have now ordered an additional unit so that all of our presenters can rest their vocal chords if they want to. Can't speak to reliability yet, but very happy so far. Great value for the money.

Great little PA for crowds up to 30+ people (voice and one instrument)
This is a great (small) PA and a lot of bang and resiliencce for the buck! I just bought my second B205D for daily use as a voice and piano amp (use it with a Yamaha MX61) for small crowds. The first one (after at least three years of flawless service) blew out when a power surge occurred at a nursing home where power had been shaky due to storm conditions. I never bothered with surge protection -- maybe that wasn't very smart. In any case, this little workhorse is everything you could want in a flexible, ultra-portable, and reliable stage monitor or small powered speaker, even the money is right. I've knocked it off the stand a couple of times and it bounced back to life without a flaw - just the power surge finally took it out. I'm going to have a tech look at fixing the surge problem. A friend said two of them in stereo would be great. Good luck!

Eurolive B205D
2nd purchased of this product. Uses it for line dancing class. Has 2 connections for microphones line , uses one for headset microphone and a cd input. I uses the cd input to connect to my iPad for music. Loved the sound quality. Compact system, but produces a quality loud sound. Only thing is it is angled up when on the stereo stand.

Good little sonic monkey wrench
Bought the B205D about three weeks ago to use in small venues for meetings so I wouldn't have to lug around 2 - 15" 2 way boxes, amp and mixer. Used it on two occasions. One was a small outdoor ceremony where I used the 205 as a small PA for a group of about 50. Hooked it up to an inverter which in turn was hooked up to a car battery jumper box. No problem. Sound was clear and very intelligible for speech (used a Shure SM58). The 205 did not seem to tax the inverter or the power box. I got compliments on the system. The second was for an Scouting Eagle Ceremony in front of 250 people. Used the 205D as a mixer / speaker and used the "thru" output to power a Crown XS220 running a 15"/Piezo cabinet for extra volume. Again, very clear sound and a very hot output from the Behringer. Set up the 205 at home on a mic stand to see how well it worked as an integrated "mic stand" monitor. It set up well, but I could that. with regular use, the plastic threading on the 205 cabinet itself could wear out rather quickly. Not an issue for me, as it will be used mostly as a mini PA. Very satisfied. This is my third Behringer purchase. I also have a Behringer V-amp and their 1604 mixer. Both have provided years of service with no problems. Looking forward to the same from my B205D.

Small Size Big Sound Goog Tone
Incredible small form factor PA speaker. I usually use two through a mixer to get the best sound quality. I've gone so far as to add a power sub-woofer for more bottom end but most of the time it isn't necesary (audience dependent). One is perfect for up to 120+ people in small venues. Very durable, easy to carry, set up and is quite versatile in how it can be hooked up and deployed. EXCELLENT price point, EXCELLENT buy
