fast shipping, great price,,love it. Also, this is great for a quick breakfast,,,no sugar added. HOWEVER when you add milk, there is about 12 grams of sugar in approx. 8 ounces. SO, I drink a certain brand Silk Almond Milk. There is a specific one with no sugar at all, 0 grams. I combine the two and it's a healthy, quick breakfast. Also enables me to take all of my morning pills. I take a few envelops of this with my milk when I travel.

Keeps Hubby Happy/Healthy!

Hubby grew up on this product and recently wanted retry it. I find it kind of ironic that it's indeed finding a resurgence lately.....Sunday newspaper coupons as well as TV commmercials for it. Since he's Diabetic, I buy the "no sugar added" Vanilla flavor [his favorite]. I tried a sip, and neither of us can detect an aftertaste, however we are both "no sugar added" junkies. Neither of us are ingredient experts so we don't know what gives it a sweet taste. But we do know it provides him with 21 essential vitamins and nutrients which he definitely needs for his very active job. I mix up a couple bottles @ a time [12oz bottles recycled from salad dressings], put in the fridge and he just grabs one in the morning on his way out the door to work. He can quickly dring a bottle on the run while working, and get some sustanence when he really needs it. The Subscribe/Save makes the price like $1.00 a box cheaper, no shipping costs, and we always have it on hand in the pantry. Love Amazon!

Kind of surprised at how tasty these are!

I had not tried this product for many years--in the old days it was called "Instant Breakfast" and I remember using it as a quick meal "back in the day." I found I was skipping breakfast in my hurry to get out the door some mornings, which caused me to sink by noon. A friend mentioned these and said they were pretty good. I checked my local grocery store, and they only had a couple of flavors, none that appealed to me, so I ordered the milk chocolate (my old favorite) from amazon. I decided to try the sugar-free version with the thought to "doctor it up" if it was yucky. In fact, when I got my order, for the first one I put the mix in the blender with milk and ice cubes to make it tasty. Well, it WAS tasty made as a "milk shake" but that also takes an extra minute or two, plus washing the blender. So the next time, I just mixed it with milk in a glass, stirring with a spoon. First, it blends very easily with milk, making a nice creamy drink in seconds. More important, it tastes GOOD. Not "OK" but actually good! Hard to believe it has no sugar. I usually drink non-fat milk, but I mix these with whole milk. I find that, aside from making the drink creamier, the fat in the milk gives the drink more staying power. Since the mix itself is non-fat, the 8 grams in the milk is not excessive for a meal replacement drink.

Part of my daily diet!

This is by far the best way to control your hunger and cravings at morning. It gives me a boost of energy and my cravings have lowered since I started drinking these. Its now part of my daily diet. Great product!

FAST service!!!

My 89-year-old Mom depends on this stuff and it's gotten almost impossible to find in the local stores. This is the first time I have ordered it from amazon for her. The service was incredibly fast!!! I ordered on Aug. 25 and it arrived August 27. Perfect timing as she had only 1 little envelope left! Thank you so much for such excellent service. I'll be ordering again for as long as she needs it! For those who may be wondering, Mom loves the flavor of this, even though it's sugar-free. She has always adored very thin vanilla milkshakes and that's about what this tastes like to her. Buying it through amazon, I paid just a little more than half of what I was paying in the store!! Originally she was using the bottles of Glucerna; this reduces the cost by about 75% and so we're all happy!!

Carnation Breakfast Essentials is ideal!!!!!

I am not a breakfast person but I am concerned about my daily nutrient levels. Carnation breakfast has been fueling my body for years! I love it with Almond milk or Greek yogurt for a smoothie. A great meal replacement anytime of the day, with the added bonus that you are getting more than just a dose of protein in each glass! Unlike protein drinks, it doesn't make you feel bloated or hungry either!

This is my standard work morning breakfast, much better than the chocolate variety which is all that's available in local grocery stores. The price per box is very competitive with retail outlets, and one other item gets you free shipping. For almost three months of breakfasts, it can't be beat.

Drinking this for over 20 years!

I have drank carnation instant breakfast for over 20 years after it was recommended by a hospital for my grandfather. It keeps me full and helps supplement what I like to consider a fairly healthy diet. Mixed with milk or almond milk and it tastes great. I especially like the no sugar added. It is not too sweet and has enough flavor to make it taste good.

Previously i had a year of surgeries and sickness and couldn’t eat and this drink was the only thing i could stand. Docs wanted me on thick nasty ensure drinks because i need the protein to heal and i just couldn’t do it . These instant breakfast as they used to be called are perfect if you can’t tolerafe those other types cause they aren’t as thick as those. This stuff literally save my life that year. I can’t find the no added sugar in larger boxes anywhere locally so i order here and it’s been perfect.
