Midsummer Night Jar Candle

Classic, masculine and haunting. This is my all time favorite Yankee Candle scent. Tip: If you keep the wick trimmed, burn it for about 3-hours at a time, and snuff it with the lid instead of blowing it out, you will find that it burns more evenly.

Great scent for a mid-20s man

I'm a single 25 year old male who lives alone. Normally I opt for plug-in or "set and forget" air fresheners, but the ambiance of a candle goes a long way when you have company. A friend of mine purchased this candle a few months back and I had no clue they made candles with such a masculine scent -- couple that with the affordability/convenience of Amazon and I had to jump on it. Just buy it, bro. Trust me.

Gave it a chance. I like it!

Didn't like it at first but changed my mind! Purchased this on PrimeDay based on Amazon reviews. What caught my eye was "Masculine scent" "Department store smell". However, when I opened the jar it smelled more like bad underarm deodorant you'd purchased at a low end drugstore. Figured I'd give it a chance. Burning it makes the room smell wonderful. Yes, it does indeed have that "Department store smell". Lasts a long time. Slow burning. Very little ash. Cons: Does contain synthetic fragrance. Not 100% natural

I used to buy these for the last few decades. Unfortunately I believe it's been discontinued by Yankee Candle U.S. You might be able to buy it in europe on a normal basis.

My favorite candle going on 11 years

First I wanna start by saying this is the best candle I've ever smelt in my life so far. I used to steal my mom's midsummer night candle when I was younger and I've just recently gotten into using candles every day. It helps with my depression, anxiety, ADHD, and ocd. They're just something simple that helps wake me up in the morning and calm my mind at night. I purchased this online because shopping with my 1 yr old gives me panic attacks when I don't have my fiance or mom with me. I was very happy to receive my shipment next day for no charge and it came in tact. It's a GORGEOUS yet simple addition for my collection. I was disappointed in the amount of cardboard that was used in the package. There were 3 boxes. And I can't recycle where I live so I try to not bring non reusable boxes into the house. Still 5 stars because despite my disappointment in the amount of cardboard used, it's still absolutely perfect. I wish I would have gone to the store instead because of that, but amazon has made my life long battle with panic attacks SO MUCH easier and less stressful. 100/10.

My Favorite Candle Company!

This was a birthday gift for my daughter. It’s her favorite fragrance and candle company. I have bought Yankee candles for 33 years and my daughter just had her 30th birthday so she has grown up smelling these wonderful candles. They last a very long time if you follow a few instructions such as trimming the wick and extinguish it as instructed. The fragrance last to the very end of the life of the candle and fill the house each and every time with a wonderful smell. I buy nothing but Yankee Candles and hope they are always around.

Great smelling candle

I love Yankee Candles!! I thought I would try this scent and stray from my usual baking scents I am so glad I did. This has a cologne type smell and this scent is calming. It is not overwhelming like some scents that are perfume base scents. I loved it so much I went and bought the air vent clips and the same scent in the one that hangs from your mirror. This candle burns very well and not fast like most scented candles. It started out in our family room so I could share but ended up in our bathroom next to our whirlpool tub. I was told to order another candle just like it. They said I was being selfish and keeping it for my own pleasure. Of course you would do the same

Love it, masculine

This candle reminds me of a man's cologne. I really like it. I am not one for floral smells. I tend to like scents like pine, linen, musk, and such. I found this to be a very pleasant scent and really enjoy it. There's nothing wrong with florals, I don't think they are feminine necessarily, but if you are a man and you want your home to smell good but feel like "classic manly" or something like that, you would like this candle. I am a woman, and not saying this candle is for one gender over the other, but it just reminds me of men's products so there you go, that's my opinion. Anyway, I will definitely buy again once this one is finished.

Clean Scent!

If you are looking for a candle that is long lasting, burns evenly and is perfectly scented with a clean scent I suggest trying Warm Luxe Cashmere by Yankee Candle. Cold whiff it has a soft, clean scent. Warm whiff after it's lit it gives off just the right amount of Clean cashmere with hints of light musk. I've had so many compliments from those visiting about the scent this candle carries. My husband isn't much of a candle fan but he actually enjoys this particular candle. I love sitting down after I've cleaned my home to enjoy the scent this candles gives throughout the home. It seems to travel well but isn't over powering.

A Chill, Lax Scent

I'm going to sound a bit biased, but this is my favorite scent! Midsummer's Night was one of the first candles I've ever lit in my room, and what a difference it has made! Nice smell, a bit musky (I guess if that's what you call it) but perfect on what I like to set my mindset as; a chill, laidback evening while sitting at my desk either playing games or watching a movie. Good times. Also, I feel as though with Yankee Candles when you blow out the wick, it doesn't have a bad smoke residue or anything like you're inhaling anything toxic like another "off-brand" candle I tried. Always sticking with Yankee.
