LOVE this!! It fits my elongated toilet just fine. But it’s the extra wide opening of this seat that separates it from the others. This extra wide opening allows us women to take care of our business.

My husband had hip surgery and therapist suggested higher toilet seat. Very easy to install and we love it

I have tried several Toilet Seat Riser and felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The seat has helped me a lot since my accident I would recommend this seat to everyone that is looking for a riser.

Easy to carry to use in a motel or even a private home. No mess and MUCH easier to stand up from. It is easy to lock into place and remove for others.

This is easy to use and a great addition to the bathroom. Use like a regular toilet seat...with room to spare. I found it to be sturdy.

It is really essential that the high-rise toilet seat clamps on to the porcelain bowl, otherwise it will slide and you could end up on the floor. One model I tried had sticky pads to hold the unit on the toilet bowl but they soon got misplaced or lost. This Carex model has three screws that tighten the unit to the bowl. It takes a couple of minutes to tighten the screws then you're set to go. Literally. The directions say the unit will hold 500 pounds.

A really wide hole, it fit my 17in(l)x14.5in(w) at the widest point. And backed it up with the safety bars bought separately. As, far as sturdiness, it will stay in place, but is easily pulled off. I'm going to reinforce the seat with something that makes it harder to pull off the toilet. Just for more security.

The added inches of the Carex Raised Toilet Seat make it much easier to get on and off the commode safely. Plus the added safety locks firmly secure ot to the bowl.

I have cerebral palsy so getting getting up from a low toilet is different. I take this on trips when I am unable to book a handicapped room. It really does help!

I wanted a riser that would be easy to slip on and off a toilet bowl so I was leery at first. But it works fine and slides off and on quickly yet seems secure enough for me. I suspect that if you stand and sit straight up and down, it's ok, but if you have to lean too far to one side or the other, you might need a more secure riser. But if you only need a little bit of help, this is a good value.
