Perfect amount of flex in the longer blocks to allow working with different contours of the body you are sanding. Overall a great solution for the job of sanding a car, kayak, boat or motorhome.
I held off buying these for quite a while, I mean I had a bunch of old, chewed up pads and such and they're not cheap but I finally hit the buy button and kick myself for waiting. Worth every bit of their price and then some.
These blocks are nice for sanding, it almost makes me want to find extra things to sand (almost). Each blocks if for different sanding, from flat to curved. I will never go back to sanding with just my hands again.
Awesome blocks, this kit is advertised as 6 piece and is cheaper than the 7 piece kit also being sold on amazon...but this kit is actually 8 pieces as it includes two bars of the dura scrub soap. High quality, good blend of rigidity and flexibility, psa backed sandpaper tape secures firmly, packaging is high quality...a must have for anyone serious about paint and body work
Durability: More than the brick house in the middle of the street that damn wolf tried to blow. Value: True value about to be sued for not paying royalties to durablock. Easy to hold: Heck no!!!! My carpal tunnel makes these body work tasks harder than my wife’s failed queso in a crockpot idea. But for the average person with average health it’s not a problem. All you’ve got to do is place your palm on top and then enclose your digits around the sides, generally with your thumb on the bottom. Might be more difficult for customers under the age of 6 months.
Love the blocks, great product and i gave just found a new brand that i will sweat by and use any chance i get. I am only kicking myself for trying to hand sand for so long before investing in the right tools.
Was able to fix a dent in the top Hood my my daughter's 2004 Elantra, I stuck the sticky sandpaper on with a slight curve to match the hood curve. It worked great and the dent was imperceptible when we finished and repainted.
By far the best blocks on the market. This is the second set I have bought in the past few years. The two bars of soap that come with it works great to remove paint and primer from your hands.
Great versatile set of sanding blocks. Great sizes for almost any project. For bigger panels you may want one a bit longer than the longest in this kit, but you can certainly make due with the 12" block.
